Reception was very welcoming. We asked for a quiet room and we got that.
I could not use the shower as it was over the bathtub. Very dangerous and I already had a bad fall before I came so I felt very insecure, despite a rubber mat being there.

Mostly the overall hotel was good
1 The nonabsorbent stupid paper bathmat is ridiculous and serves no purpose, especially when using washbasin with water drips to the floor. Let down the overall room experience.
2 The buffet breakfast was always cold especially if eating at 9 am with food in Bain Maries from 7am.
3 After 24 hours of flights, arrived without electric adapter to charge phone. Reception said machine in lobby provided, but with no local currency yet obtained, these required 2 x 2Euro coins. Reception unable to provide these coins as charged to room and required me to leave the hotel, walk down the street to find a shop with an ATM to obtain cash make a purchase with coin change and return to put the coins in the machine. Reception staff unsympathetic to this inconvenience and were borderline rude in emphasizing "we can not give you cash" and could not charge equivalent to $6 to room, after 5 months prepayment of $3,600 for 12 night stay. An unimpressive "Welcome" TO Skylon Dublin.

Spacious and cleanliness
WiFi is far too slow and expensive

The breakfast was good. The shower water pressure was strong. The beds were comfortable.
The staff on breakfast shift were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than doing their jobs like offering tea/coffee or clearing dirty dishes from tables to give guests more room at the tables. Had to interrupt their conversations almost every morning to get my coffee!
Reception staff sat behind the Reception desk chatting away to each other. Quite rude to guests. Almost disdainful towards guests. Expensive room rate but not worth it. Stayed 4 nights but cancelled further stay and moved to a different hotel for 13 nights. There are definitely better hotels in Dublin, and maybe even more economical, as we found out.

I booked it as I had to be Cappagh hospital for 7 am , for hip operation.
I can say that I had very poor sleep in hotel noise etc .
Wi-Fi was crap in bedroom
The bed was so small as I had surgery today in Cappagh hospital Finglas ,
I must say I never slept at all last night
Bed was so hard also .

The location is perfect and the room was clean and comfortable.
The pay parking, considering the price of your stay, it should be complimentary at least.

close to town center by cab
Got in about midnight due to flight delay and went to room and all night room entrance door kept rattling. In am complained to staff and noone did anything about it Later addressed another staff member and when I got back that eve a plate had been put on door and no rattle. However when first complained staff made it sound as if i was complaining about safety of door and asked for someone to come to room with me to show them problem but it wasn;t until day staff on duty that finally got fixed. did not like paying all that money for no sleep!!

Convenient location and staff are very friendly. What was a Huge problem was my room was freezing and after several conversations it was not rectified and room was not serviced when requested.

Friendly staff. Good bus route into Dublin. Local cafes nearby. Only a short drive from Ferry.
On a busy road so lots of traffic noise during the night. We live in a quite village so probably notice it more then a lot of people.

Breakfast was very good. Appreciated the variety of foods offered. Staff were very professional. Thank you
Room was hot. Would appreciate lighter bedding, rather than quilts. Especially when there is no air conditioning

That you don't include Breakfast ! Its Tough times for everyone and would be a lovely gesture if Skylon were to review that policy. Otherwise than that ,enjoyed my stay.

Staff were excellent, very helpful and very friendly. Gave us good advice on local travel including a day trip to an island we would not of thought of visiting.
Breakfast was a real experience, the bacon was thick and the sausages were delicious. There was unlimited tea and coffee and plenty of staff around to bring toast, fill buffet etc. would recommend the breakfasts.
When we arrived we were allocated a room that already had people in it (quite embarrassing). Then our room was not clean, there was a bottle with cigarette ends in behind the curtain. The rooms were also very warm even with the heating off and it was too noisy from the road noise if you had the window open.
