Staff lovely and friendly
Food excellent
drains smelt and filled room with unpleasant sewage smell.
Kitchen seemed to struggle, took forever, food often came out wrong. The food is very good through
Bar area flooded with sewage water while we were in there.
Waiting staff failed to take plates away and our table just got more and more cramped. Breakfast items often ran out and not replenished. Breakfast in general seemed a struggle for the kitchen.

Very clean and tidy. Extremely spacious and all the staff I met were very friendly.
I honestly could not fault it.

The grounds were lovely to walk round, we enjoyed two days filled with lots to do.
The breakfast was poor - service was bad, took over an hour to get our food from when we ordered. We were charged £50 for a small bowl of porridge, two boiled eggs, two halves of toast each and a salmon and scrabbled eggs of which was nice but small. The toast came out 20 minutes before the soft boiled eggs so could not be eaten with the eggs.

The resort is amazing.
Really enjoyed to stay here.
We stayed in a Meadow house, it was very comfortable and relaxing.
The Restaurant for me is to be avoid on next time.
Had a salad and it was good.
Asked a grilled chicken from kids menu to my son and it came burned wish they happy replaced for another but, it shouldn't even left the kitchen in first instance.
Staff is friendly and smiling but useless. Had to ask for everything!
They did sit us on a table without plate or cutlery for my kid, when the starts arrived had to ask twice for it and then they just brought a plate, had to ask a third time for my son cutlery!!! Disappointing!
One of the glasses had lipstick marks, I asked to replace the glass, they never brought a clean one!
At the end after a really poor service had to pay the service fee!
Breackfast mugs weren't well cleaned, from the 4 already on the table when we arrived, 2 were dirty with cereals that didn't come out when washed.

Everything
More food options, maybe some halal options

Hotel, facilities and staff were excellent.
Food was not good at all. Severely overpriced, ridiculously small portions and substantially below what you expect for such a nice hotel. Staff and overall service was excellent though just the food itself, pricing etc was way off.

Location restaurant pool
Our at groom was a little warm didn’t fit the style of the resort
4.3
Lovely rural location and spacious rooms. Lots of facilities.
The amount of area dedication to off lead for the dogs
4.3
Good facilities Excellent Breakfast
Booked a ‘manor hotel room’ as this showed as dog friendly on booking.com but when we arrived were informed the room chosen wasn’t dog friendly and moved to an annex room which was more like a travel lodge, the bed was ridiculously soft and generally the whole experience was very disappointing.

Very restful stay in beautiful surroundings

The location is great, on top of hills with expansive views across the countryside. It is really more of a holiday resort than pure hotel, this takes nothing away from it just if you are expecting an intimate hotel then this isn't that. We stayed in an estate room which was spacious, warm and nicely furnished. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, likewise with breakfast. In the morning we chose a window seat which had wonderful views of the grounds. There is an extensive impressive development of new lodges which were mainly unoccupied and all looked to be of a very high standard.
We used the leisure facilities which were not very busy and had a good swim in the decent size pool however the drawback was that the changing rooms were too small ( I'm talking about the mens) six people would be crowded, these were reached via the vile smelling toilets and the similarly smelly showers were next to the pool. Half of the 12 lockers were insecure so don't take anything of value in there.

Amazingly helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, great facilities, dog friendly.
Nothing!
4.3
The lodges were fantastic. I loved the hot tub and the welcome basket.
4.3
The lodge was amazing. Everything was very new and luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked several meals with no problems. The master bedroom was lovely and had a wonderful view which was perfect to wake up to. The carpets upstairs were lovely. The bathrooms were great and the showers were powerful. The kitchen goody bag was a really lovely touch. The bathroom toiletries were l’occitane which was very nice. The staff were very friendly. We ate at the Manor House restaurant the food was nice but it was pricey. We went to the Exeter inn down the road and it was really nice. The fact that the tennis courts were included in our stay was brilliant we all loved having family games of tennis. We will definitely return to the Mole it is amazing.
Not a massive issue but just for feedback we took part in the quiz night and it was very popular and the room was too small for all guests. It may be a good idea to have this in a bigger room.

Beautiful location. Quiet and calm but lots to do. Very classy.
Swimming pool changing rooms need a bit of love!
4.3
New and comfortable lodge, well maintained resort, nice welcome package, pool & play areas for kids
More choice at buffet breakfast
4.3
Exceptional staff, beautiful grounds and very comfortable environment with games, food, and relaxation all on the one doorstep.
Would benefit the option of serviced accommodation especially for people on long stays .
4.3
The lodge was fully equipped with everything we could have needed - really lovely calming decor, spacious for us two adults and two under fives. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the finish in the property.
The bread that you can buy in the hub must be gluten free or frozen as it turns to dust in the toaster...that's literally it. Everything else really worked for us!
4.3
Great stay nice lodge with amazing views & superb jacuzzi. Everything was lovely and they are so good with pets.
High prices indeed but is August nowhere is cheaper. Overall nice experience and probably for Christmas we are planning to go.again.
Restaurant staff very good and Interesting food choices.
Whoever owns this resort made a difference.
Check in time is very late and they made even it later because the lodge was not ready at 4pm.
Barbecue not available due to a strange way of booking this.
I'm still waiting for an invoice and to confirm that I'm on the waiting list for Christmas. The resort staff is very good overall but the reception department is a bit low in service.
4.3
The room was very comfy and the inclusive breakfast really good. The grounds were gorgeous and the deer hide a bonus.
Trying to find our way around when we arrived was really hard, and not helped because we were tired. Booking.com state it is the Highbullen Hotel at the Mole Resort, but the Highbullen Hotel doesn't exist anymore. You check in at The Hub and then get directed to your room which is not in a hotel! The TV was a bit flaky and buffered/stopped occasionally. The evening meal was a little pricey.

We stayed in one of the new 2 bedroom lodges, it was superb, well appointed with everything you could possibly require for cooking at home, the kitchen was amazing. TBH the whole of the lodge was nothing short of stunning, the jacuzzi was fabulous. We had an issue that the decking doors would not lock which we reported over the whatsapp support chat (manned 24 hours!!) and within 2 hours we had someone at the lodge to replace the lock, incredible service.
I challenge you to find a better welcome pack anywhere on the planet.... sausages, bacon, cheese, eggs, mushrooms, potatoes, butter all locally farm sourced. And not just enough for one breakfast, as a family of three we easily got two hearty breakfasts out of it.
At the start of our break the wifi was fantastic, 120mbps+, there was then a torrential downpour for 12 hours and the internet connection dropped down to sub 3mbps in our area of the resort, I suspect that one of the meshed access points had failed in the rain, we report this over the whatsapp support chat but nothing was done. This was a little irritating as the weather was shocking for our whole stay and internet to entertain an 11yr old is pretty essential!
The activities for kids are unnecessarily over-priced, £10 / child for den building for one hour using nothing but natural forestry resources. This was annoying and many other activities were over-priced IMO.
The on-site farm shop was also unnecessarily over-priced, by way of example £2.50 for a tin of heinz baked beans.
While the games room in the hub was absolutely superb, if you dare to be thirsty while you are using it and buy a cup of coffee you should be prepared for a £3+ price tag on a latte. Like me you would probably think this is a fair price until you receive less than half a cup in an already small paper takeaway cup.

Everything, there was honestly nothing not to like the place is outstanding, the staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful, we asked for a vape and a crate of Corona within 10 minutes the manger delivered these via a golf buggy to our table AMAZING.
The best weekend the best resort and the best staff, we will be returning and I will be spending the word. *****
There’s nothing not to like.
4.3
Nothing to fault it

The lodges are fantastic. Beautifully designed and very well equipped. Attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed. We stayed in a 2 bed lodge and I would highly recommend.
If the owners want to pitch this as a luxury resort they have some work to do the amenities. For example The Bistro has very limited choice of refreshments. It sells takeaway coffee etc, but doesn’t sell pastries which is a miss especially if you want a lite breakfast without sitting down in the more formal restaurant for breakfast. We ate at the Bistro for lunch with our 2 kids but they didn’t sell small cartons of juice, instead we had to buy their glass bottles of organic apple juice which the kids didn’t like.
Improving on the basics need to be addressed asap.
4.3
Lodge facilities
Service within the resort - cafe, restaurant, activities staff all seemed to have “teething” troubles due to changes / first season
4.3
Staff excellent food good room clean and comfortable
Not enough toilet facilities in the main house and having to go up 2 tight flights of stairs meaning no facilities in the bar or restaurant area. No facilities for disabled guests
4.3
Family friendly resort with loads of leisure activities. Spacious, spread out accommodation, green spaces and impressive trees all around. Helpful, friendly staff who wanted to find an answer to questions and a resolution to problems . Excellent breakfast , cooked to demand in relaxed atmosphere.
Outside pool could have longer opening times, as it is a special treat to swim outdoors, but indoor pool was there as alternative
4.3
It was a unreal stay, the location was amazing
Clean and comfortable

Excellent breakfast. Great indoor & outdoor pool.
Pillows could be firmer
4.3
Great staff, quality accommodation that was well thought out. Best welcome pack we have ever had with local quality produce in abundance.
Excellent choice of activities. We tried archery and gazebos were set up to protect us from the rain. Excellent health and safety.
Everything was great, crazy golf not yet available, but plenty of other activities on offer.
4.3
Modern. Clean.
Proximity to other lodges. Good meaning staff walking in to lodge. Daily hot-tub cleaning team walking in back gate anytime or day, many times, twice rather than at 9-10am as stated. Lack of privacy. Overlooked by neighbours who kept blinds open. Location down a very narrow lane (it’s Devon countryside, I do get that). I called to ask if it was overlooked and was told only by trees but was semi-detached and had neighbours close.
4.3
Fabulous hotel in all ways but check out at ten and not checking in until late afternoon somewhat limiting. How do you enjoy the fabulous breakfast if you’re rushing to check out at 10 !
As above check in and check out times
4.3
Everything. Staff went above and beyond. Great food and facilities. Gym has a full suite of equipment.
4.3
I thought it was spacious and very comfortable
I thought it was quite modern and definitely didn’t like the ball golf thing
