The general area was wonderful. Dinner was superb.
I booked and paid for two rooms and wanted adjoining, which ended up being two bedrooms in a family style unit (eg sharing a bathroom), which was not what I was expecting or really wanting and therefore more expensive comparable to other places we had stayed in Namibia.

At first we have appreciated the location with a 360 degrees panoramic view with the mountains all around, the quietness
Then we were Very good welcoming by all the staff
It was the only safari lodge where we could go hiking directly from the lodge in the nature and see animals(girafes, zebras, oryx, springbocks, osrtiches, kudus, etc)in safety. There are many possibilities for sundown or sunrise hikings, not far away from the lodge
Diner and breakfast very good

Breakfast was delicious and generous, served on an outdoor deck with a beautiful view. A lovely quiet, peaceful location that is close enough to the airport but out in the bush.Abundant bird life and game at the waterhole to entertain you while having dinner. Such nice and attentive staff.
I would like an easier to follow map for the walking trails.

Nice lodge to start or end a round trip in Namibia, about 1 hour drive from the airport. Swimming Pool and terrace with a view to the water hole.

We had a fantastic time at Auas Safari Lodge. The location was perfect for us to relax on the way from the Kgalagadi TNP to the airport. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife in the surrounding land. The hosts were friendly and gracious, literally nothing was a problem, and kept us well fed with delicious food. We also had massages in the spa facility which was an excellent addition to a very relaxing stay. All in all we’re counting down the months until we can return!

Staff were lovely, setting was stunning and game drives were awesome. Being so close to nature is magical, it's literally outside your door.

A great lodge not far out of Windhoek. Stayed here at the end of my Namibian tour, and it was a lovely location to unwind before my flights home. Room was huge, pool was great, the meals were amazing and the staff incredibly attentive. I enjoyed my game drive and also had a great time exploring the walking tracks on foot.

It's been my 2nd stay there - very nice again. The lodge is located close to Windhoek as well as to the airport, so it's the perfect destination for the start or the ending of a Namibia trip. The staff was very friendly, especially Elisabeth and Eva. The food was delicious! There is a refreshing, clean pool as well as a stunning view to the surrounding landscape over a close by located waterhole where you can join separate animals. I did also one of the well signposted walkways which offers quietness, brilliant views and a big variety of birdlife.

Our stay in Auas safari lodge was great. We needed a place in nature not too far from Windhoek. The farm is huge, and you can hike and join a driving safari. We spotted various animals and the sun downers are stunning. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is very good.

The stuff was amazingly freindly, and as we didnt get our luggage, they really tried to help us out with everything. the location is great, after the long flight from Europe. the food was great and having a kamin in the room was fun.
We were too teired to do any game drives, but the walk with the Impalas and the Springbocks in the morning (as it was our first night in Namibia) was also great.

The staff was so friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean. Good wifi.
The rooms are outdated. No TV. No air con. They were too cramped on Christmas day at the pool and restaurant area. They only served buffet on Christmas day. They had only one option for dinner. Set menu.

Great staff, comfortable room. Really good game drive with a knowledgeable guide and lots of animals. Very good food. We had 2 mama impalas and their babies outside our room every morning, who stayed on the grounds all day.
Liked everything.

Quick City escape, really worth it. Great facilities.

As many before we stayed here the first night after arriving in Windhoek on the way to Sesriem.
It is nice to relax in the afternoon and to wander around the area, though not many game was around.
The meals were good but not glorious as we learned in the course of our trip.
Staff was very nice and helpful
The lodges are rather basic.
Pool was under construction, not mentioned in the offer.
Game drive was fully booked though only two parties stayed at the lodge.
A bit off the route for a one night stopover

The food is amazing. Best breakfast we had on our whole trip!
We did a good game drive. Though this was almost the last stop and thus we had seen all the animals (and many more) before. Other than that there is not much to do but to enjoy the view. An ostrich visited us when we were sitting by the pool.
