Piacevole immersione nella cultura locale ...ma non basta

La posizione all'interno della Medina, l'edificio caratteristico, l'atmosfera famigliare , la disponibilità dello staff, la cucina

Il letto scomodo e sfondato, materasso e arredi molto datati, camera e bagno con spazi molto ristretti, biancheria e cuscini puliti ma molto usata con aloni vari.

Small room and bed, hot water never arrived in shower after running about 10 minutes

Superb

Good breakfast. Great location in a quiet corner of the Casbah. Lovely family runs and lives in this restored traditional house.

Main problem is weak wi-fi and cell coverage. Rooms on the small side.

I really enjoyed my stay there. It was quiet and somehow close to most places I went to.

I'd like to thank the owners of the guesthouse for their assistance, attitude and professionelism.

Superb

A beautiful guest house in the old medina, the lady was really lovely and spoke English! The breakfast was good and the whole place was really welcoming and homely. The lady went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Internet is really poor which is difficult as we needed access to some internet as we were traveling around Located in the old town away from a busy street so it can be hard to locate and is quiet and a bit dark at night. We didn't feel unsafe but something to bare in mind

Cozy rooms in Ancient Bizerte

Very comfortable room. We loved the decor of the house and its location. It was in a great part of town that was really pretty and close to everything, but also really quiet. Breakfast was delicious (continental), and the Hosts are very kind and had good suggestions on restaurants and even hair/nail salons! Would definitely stay again.

A real gem in old town of Bizerte

Can only confirm the other reviews : great hosts (waited for our rather late arrival and picked us up from our taxi in front of the walls of medina to lead us through the small allies of old town late evening) Small but very cozy room with beautiful design. Wonderful manison with lots of classic furniture. Wonderful breakfast in the atmosphere of this classic house. A real highlight among the various accomodations we had during 4 weeks of travel through Tunisia.

Our stay was too short.

Definitely worth seeing Bizerte and staying here.

Beautiful house and sweet, helpful family that were attentive to my needs. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious, especially the coffee! The location is just right, at the old harbour. Another great thing is about Bizerte itself. The town is not used to a lot of tourists and this makes it an authentic town to visit. I met several very sweet, friendly and helpful locals who invited me to join them.

The house is of a type that makes it impossible to have quiet. There was no outside window in the bedroom and no sea view, therefore. Very poor Wifi which would prevent me from staying again as there are things travellers need to do online, such as confirming flights etc. Because of its location in the medina and the cobbled stone paths, it's very difficult to drag heavy luggage from the taxi-stop to the house. This won't be a problem for everyone of course, but it's an important consideration. Some of the information is not accurate, for example, there was no desk, wardrobe, bath-robe or sea-view.

Great place to stay in Bezerte. Highly recommended.

Very friendly hosts, lovely old Dar in the Bezerte medina, and great location.

Bang in the middle of the Medina in Bizerte. Very pleasant and friendly hosts.

The family who run this Dar are friendly and helpful. The place felt very much like a family home. The decor was fascinating - truly boutique!

We visited in January and the weather was cold. Even with the AC unit turned up to full, the room was not quite as warm as we would have liked.
