Bad smell in rooms (from toilets)

Location and cleanliness; breakfast was good too
Water pressure was too less and washroom was getting wet easily due to lack of shower curtain
4.1
Good location. Free breakfast. Clean.
Showers / water smelled very bad in bathroom. No tv in room, very minimal furniture. Check in stated until 2200, no one to be found after 2100.

The location
We booked, as a special treat, 2 nights of our two week trip in Iceland, at this Guesthouse. Instead of the promised (in our booking confirmation) Mountain View room, we had a room facing the parking lot, with very little privacy. When we raised it, we were told there is nothing they could do.
4.1
Clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good each morning.
Very basic, no frills. No gluten free breads for breakfast.

Pretty new, extremely clean and lots of space in the room. Comfortable beds. Private bathroom. Good breakfast, actually it was a glad surprise compared to previous reviews. Location was also good close to Diamond Beach. Totally almost hotel level.

It was only bad luck but we got the room next to the main door, in front of the carpark. So we heard when everyone comes in and everyone also looked in our windows. I think this space should be “utiliti room” or someting like that instead of clasic room.

The bathroom floor was heated, which was nice. We had 2 singles and a bunk bed which was fine for us. We stayed for one night to be close to Diamond Beach and the Lagoon. It was perfect for what we needed
Breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

Great value stay! Included breakfast was simple and surprisingly good and the facilities were well constructed and modern.
The road at night is not illuminated on the property so it is difficult to navigate the turns if you are not familiar.

Loved it all.

The lovely guy at the reception was super helpfull and kind!

The rooms are super spacious and clean. The staff here is super friendly. The check-in process was super smooth and the kitchen area provides basic amenities. The common area had Hair Dryers and Plug convertors for the guests to use.
The bathrooms were super clean. The breakfast menu was fairly wide and everything tasted really great!
Will definitely choose this property for my next visit.
The kitchen was accessible only up to 8pm. This can cause trouble to guests arriving late in the night.

Breakfast was adequate and had a decent amount of options to fuel up for the day. The room was clean, updated, and great for a night of rest. The shower had very hot water which was much appreciated after a long wet day out in the cold.
The only thing we didn't like is the pillows were very lumpy and hard and uncomfortable, so much so that we just slept without them.
4.1
The hotel is very close to Jokursalon glacier and diamond beach , so it's a nice play to stay if you need to go hunt the northern lights in the night. The room was alright although there wasn't any staff at reception when we arrived. The self check in was easy and all details were put on front of the dining hall.Nothing to boast about the breakfast, but it was okay. The room didn't have a tv though, and we could use the fully equipped kitchen at the hostel which is owned by the guesthouse near to the hotel.
Nothing much , there weren't any pointers to the guesthouse once we reached the location. There are three buildings in the same compound, and we were confused which one is the guesthouse at night.
4.1
Really good facilities and modern room, exceeding our expectations.
Not that this was a problem to us, but there wasn’t any restaurants or shops close by.
4.1
Minimalist kind of stay. Good location for a night during the ring road.
4.1
the hotel was good overall. for us it was a good location after a whole day of driving
breakfast was pretty limited and poorly served
4.1
Room (with private bathroom) was big and clean. Breakfast was good, mattress was comfortable.
All the hooks in the room were either broken or wouldn’t hold the towel, so quite useless. We did not like that the common area with the microwave was open only until 8pm. Pillows were not really comfortable.
4.1
Staff was nice and the room was confortable and quite reniewed.
Breakfast was good also.
You can eat your own food there but just know there is no restaurant in this accommodation and I advise to go to the one located at 7km in the direction of Höfn, it is just excellent.
4.1
Easy check-in and check-out process. Breakfast is okay. We stayed for one night. Room was spacious and clean. Safe environment. We didnt find any issues. Diamond beach and Glacier is 20-25 mins drive from this property.
