Excelente ubicación para pasear y conocer museos, edificios y restaurantes caminando desde el hotel

Excelente ubicación a solo dos cuadras del Andador y del Zocalo La alberca del hotel es un plus que ayuda mucho a disfrutar del hotel en tiempo de calor

La habitación un poco pequeña pero es comprensible en hoteles ubicados en el centro de la ciudad

Had great time at Hotel & Oaxaca

Location was great! Hotel was beautiful and staff were great! Pool could use more room and a bit of maintenance. Rooms have no phones, doors are key entry & same for in room safe. No elevator. Guess it’s part of the hotel charm. Dinning area was good and bar staff great. Would recommend hotel location is very good a block from main plaza & cathedral.

Beds & pillows were hard not very comfortable. AC made noise all night. No room service.

We would not recommend this hotel until the management changes. It does not merit a 4 star rating.

The location was excellent, the room was small but clean, it was good having access to a leisure pool

On arrival, the manager/owner accused me of double booking our room, despite my supplying evidence to the contrary. His attitude was very rude, including shouting, and he threatened to charge us twice for our room - and the room eventually allocated was not what we had requested. I have never experienced such dreadful behaviour in Mexico. It completely ruined the first day of our stay (the delight of Oaxaca compensated for the other days). Even if there had been an administrative error, the hotel was not full and the matter could easily have been resolved. The manager's behaviour is very unfair to the rest of the staff who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

perfect location and lovely staff

the building is really cool and has different places to chill, the pool, roof terrace, tables and chairs dotted around and you can get beers and coffee from the restaurant bar which is great. a lovely woman made me coffee each morning which was a treat. the staff were helpful and friendly but left you to it. it’s a little bit scruffy in places around the pool but it’s part of the charm with an old building. they have a water cooler to fill up bottles which I found so helpful as most places don’t have that and you end up buying lots of plastic. location is perfect!!

the pillows were a bit lumpy and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. we asked for different pillows and they did get us different ones but they were pretty much the same. but honestly I’d go back to stay again. the staff did everything they could.

Pool was a nice touch to cool off, restaurant was great and the charm of the building was lovely.

The character and charm of the building. Location was great.

Room was tiny, shower/ bathroom was super old and beds and pillows were rock hard. We didn’t sleep well because of the beds. Very expensive I believe for how outdated the rooms were.

Excellent boutique hotel in a great location off of the zocalo.

The pool, while small, was pleasant during the hot afternoons. The bed was quite comfortable and the AC worked well. We traveled as a couple and had a master suite and one suggestion would be to remove the single bed in the adjoining room and replace it with a couch.

As far as I could tell there was not room service and for a hotel of this quality and price that should be offered.

I had a great time.

The staff is top notch. they are friendly and efficient. it’s located 2 blocks away from the Zocalo.

it’s a very old building.but well kept. because of its age the are no elevators.

it is a very old building, full of charm, full of art, and very close to downtown plaza, restaurants

the whole building is beautiful

the bedrooms are small, and the view is not what I had expected but our stay was very comfortable

the people and the decor

the plumbing from other rooms where load at all hours of the night or day. they have an issue with bugs that they need to fix

Old world charm and good reception and porter staff to greet. Rooms are on the small side but perfectly adequate and have everything you need ( iron hairdryer). Some bedrooms are lighter than others.-and quieter. The pool is a plus with a few loungers for relax. some other outdoor seating areas dotted around the hotel. I’m Breakfast was good and easy to order and punctual. All in all with its relation so close to the main square- it’s not a bad option.

Decor was a little shabby- it would look amazing if painted white and azure blue with a few bright Mexican carpets on the walls ,

We liked that it had a big bathtub (rare in Oaxaca), and the big room and very comfortable bed. A/C & mini-Fridge worked well.

The hot water wasn't hot most the time, and totally cold on one day (solar heated). Noise from outside the room was also loud since our room was adjacent to a major street.

An excellent hotel

The staff were extremely accommodating and the hotel is full of character. The location is fantastic.

The laundry service was quick and useful but lost two of our t-shirts.

Perfect location

CasAntica has a wonderful location -- it was easy to walk around and enjoy Oaxaca. The children loved the pool. The rooms were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is valet parking in a lot, which was fine as we didn't need our car as spent the time just walking around Oaxaca city. We would stay here again.

the beds were 7/10 for comfort and our room was small, but for the location and the price we were very happy with our choice.

Good location

The air conditioning wasn’t working and the hotel said they couldn’t do anything about it with zero apology. The hotel never offered to give me any discount or any type compensation for their most expensive room. Also they allowed guests to yell and be loud at 11:30 pm at night in the main courtyard for well over an hour after I complained
