Everything! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. Giovanni and Amy at reception went above and beyond and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience at a hotel, we will no longer stay anywhere else as this is unbeatable. Rooms were spacious, every little detail was thought of, including drinks, toiletries and the biggest tv I’ve ever seen in a hotel! The toilet was also an experience, and having a tv in the bath is always a big plus! Thank you for such a special, memorable stay.

Leaving
Apparently, there is a special word In Japanese for deep disappointment that borders on frustration and anger: Akatoki. Nothing, but absolutely nothing, in this hotel resembles the pictures on booking.com site.
When I checked in, instead of a room I was allocated a dungeon with staircase in the middle. When I expressed my horror to the lady at the reception, she cordially explained that "some deluxe rooms are significantly smaller than others". Which, in my opinion, is plain cheating. Later, in front of her manager, the same lady claimed that what she actually had said was that some rooms are larger than 23m. Which, really, is just plain silly. If some rooms are significantly larger than 23m and the average size is 23m, then by mathematical necessity, some would have to be significantly smaller.
The hotel does not have a lobby as such and the Japanese elements in the pictures - Sakura, Bonsai etc. - are all made of plastic.
The corridors are so dark that you will need your mobile flash light to find your way, and they are so narrow that two skinny people can not walk side by side. The air condition in the room did not work, and when it was finally fixed (o, this wonderful phase in life: "maintenance is on its way") it took the room for ages to cool down.
My room was in the 5th floor, and the ceiling was so low, that if you are over 1,80m you might consider spending your stay there on your knees. The shower, however, was brilliant.
So, if you are a small brave person, who loves showers above all else, and admires plastic imitations in all their magnificent glory, this is definitely the place for you. Otherwise, you might find yourself doing as I did. I booked "The Prince Akatoki" for four nights and ran away from it after the first..

Amazing hotel with stunning service. really nothing to complain…we will come again.
Maybe and compared with other really amazing hotels in London a bit too pricey!

The price is fair for a 5 stars hotel.
Location is perfect.
I recommend to try the restaurant, a good one.
Hat off of the restaurant and breakfast staff, you were nice and very efficient 👍🏼
Some details of furnitures degradation, paints and cracks walls tell me that for 5 stars in London it is unacceptable. Knowing the level of competition in London, such details fixation is mandatory and needed.
The breakfast is way too simplistic with very little choices for a 5 stars hotel!
Fortunately you can order the Akatoki Breakfast, a very good one. But very very disappointed, I was expected Japanese pastries and other Japanese signatures dishes.

Elegant boutique hotel, just 5 min walking distance from Marble Arch subway in a quiet road. Excellent breakfast, very polite personnel. The room could have been more spacious, the bathroom was comfortable and large. The cleanliness of the hotel in a very high level. I would definitely stay again!
Everything was excellent, we expected the room to be a little more spacious, but it was a nice relaxing room.

Room is considered pretty good size for centre in London with the price, very new & clean. location and the concierge was super helpful!
The bathroom could be slightly bigger. and the central heater wasn't working in our room on the first night, then they sent us a standing heater the next day which was working fine.

Clean, friendly and stylish place to stay. Wonderful staff. The room on the ground floor is a little chilly, but as a plus we had a view on a cute little street.
An extra child bed at no charge as a policy is also a plus.

Very clean hotel

the breakfast is very good, but it can be better just by expanding the menu.
