Nice place very close to the town center, made it easy to wander around and explore the city. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable and warm, too. Breakfast everyday was simple but good.
The walls were a little thin, sometimes we could hear other guests talking or whatever.

Friendly staff, cozy bed and nice and warm room.
Some dead little ants in the bed which was disgusting and shower was old, so when open, we had water outside of the shower zone (like on the floor, toilet get wet).

Spacious hostel, big rooms (but not much furniture), kitchen+fridge available, owner helpful and speaking English, not common in Chile. Really good and fast WiFi. Reasonable prices.
Adding microwave in the kitchen would be nice! Also, the place is bit far from the center, like 15min walk at least.

The room was clean. The heating worked well. Possibility to get a take-away breakfast when you need to leave early.
The staff agreed to book a taxi for us for 6.30 a.m. to go to the airport. He noted our request on a little post-it which, as I guess, he subsequently lost or forgot. In the morning, there was no taxi waiting for us. I was desperately trying to contact the hotel (via phone, via WhatsApp, via booking.com chat...). No one picked up the phone or replied to my messages (and there is no one in the reception until 8 a.m.). Finally, I was waiting in front of the hotel with the luggage and my partner was literally running around town to find a cab which was not easy at all. In the end, we got to the airport at the very last moment. We had two flights booked on that day to get to the north of Chile via Santiago. If we had missed the first plane, we would have also missed the other one. Those flight cost around USD 800 when we bought them (and not sure if and for much we could buy new ones last minute). The worst of all, the staff never replied to my messages to apologise or even check if we manage to catch our flight. Besides, the same staff member was very unprofessional: when we were paying, he kept texting making us wait for him to count money, to give invoice, etc. In addition, the breakfast is very limited and is served in a tiny room without windows. The room was very small, we didn't have space to put our luggage. Lack of shelves to put things in the bathroom. The towels are so old that when used, they leave lots of fluffs on your skin.

our stay was great here thanks to the wonderful hosts, they are so kind and helpful! we had a lovely comfortable room, the kitchen was great to cook dinner, and they packed our breakfast as a lunch bag since we were leaving early for a tour. They also have a very good and reasonable laundry service which was great for us with all the dirty clothes from the W trek :)

Perfectly clean, quiet and comfortable
The hosts are a lovely family who are very helpful
About 15mins walk into town however there are some mini markets and a couple of food places nearby
4.5
The extreme kindness of the brothers who hold the hostel. Always available to give some advices, information and for helping you out.
Homemade eggs for breakfast are really good and hostel is quite calm. The bathroom was totally new and everything was clean. We felt good over there !
The room is maybe a bit tiny and without a view but it remains a good quality/price.

Awesome breakfast, wonderful host/owner. Radiator to keep us warm in the cold nights. we enjoyed our stay.
It is a few blocks out of the main center but not too far away.

super friendly staff, room small but comfy, warm heaters inside rooms, delicious breakfast
a little bit outside the center (you'll have to walk a bit to get to restaurants etc.) but therefore it's quiet at night

we loved this wonderful place to say! the owners were so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was great! beautiful attention to detail with the scrambled eggs, and he really made an extra effort to make them the way we like them (buying in tomato especially)!
nothing, it was all great :)

Lovely cosy Bnb, great breakfast with eggs. Fast (but pricey) laundry service. Very nice staff. Was the perfect place to rest and recover after our time in Torres del Paine national park.

The hostal was clean and comfortable, the hosts were all very nice and the location was close to the city center.
the kitchen was fine and clean but could be better equiped. During our stay one of the bathrooms closed for maintenance which caused some queuing, but they were trying to fix it. A common room with some couches would be a nice addition.

Very comfortable beds, nice facilities, breakfast included and kitchen available to use. Ran by very kind and helpful brothers. Thank you! :)
Nothing :)

The stuff is really amazing and helpful, breakfast is included and quite nice as well, they have eggs, bread, butter, tea, ham and milk. I stayed in room 2 which is a twin room (but only for one person) with a window and shared bathroom. The window is not 100% safe as anyone outside can probably jump in directly.
A regular taxi to the airport costs about 12-15 dollars.
The shared bathroom is disgusting. Because the water didn't go out so basically after you take shower, the bathroom is kinda "flooded". Although the water is strong and warm. The location is also a bit far from the city as well. Also a neighbor's dog is barking all the time.

Everything about this hostal exceeded my expectations, especially for the price! The location was great. Just a 20-minute walk from the bus terminal. Breakfast included bread, eggs, cheese, ham, coffee, tea. I always left feeling full and satisfied. Also, my private room included a private bathroom. It was spacious, clean, and attractive! I slept comfortably every night. Wifi was reliable, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I'm visiting from the U.S., and I've been in Chile for a month now. This hostal has been the greatest!
