There is a new house next door where the open lot used to be. We will update picture as soon as we are able to.
The half bath has been remodeled and the roof is brand new this Spring. Updated bathroom pictures to come as well

Come and stay at this delightful two bedroom cutie that
sleeps 5-6 and is very close to the beach! This non-smoking property is on a very
nice street just two blocks from the South Beach and only four blocks to downtown
restaurants and shopping!
We cater to the ACTIVE family with a garage full of great
activities: bikes, beach toys, beach chairs, gas grill, etc!). We
have a screened-in back porch, great for sleeping, morning coffee and the
newspaper, or entertaining late into the evening! Rinse the sand off in our outdoor shower with hot and cold water!
This home features an open floor plan, a full-featured kitchen
and hardwood floors. With a newer furnace and air conditioner it is
perfect for early Spring though late Fall fun!
Our property provides maximum comfort, convenience, and an
emphasis on recreation. Besides the bikes and beach toys, we provide
games and books for rainy days, cable, wifi, and dvd, and the location is
so ideal that it allows you the freedom to spend your morning at the
beach, afternoon shopping or biking, and evening strolling into town
for dinner, a movie, shopping, whatever! There's so much to see and
do!

Lovely lake cottage in an excellent location; less than 10 minute walk to South Beach, Kids Corner, and downtown. Our boys loved the loft space and we all loved the outdoor area with fire pit and the outdoor shower (with warm water!). There were chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon to carry it in. There was even fire wood and all the makings of S'mores provided for our use. I personally loved the clothes line and the pretty foyer at the front door with the white wicker furniture and the ceiling painted with clouds. So pretty! We will definitely look into staying here in the future.

We had another amazing time at this South Haven bungalow. Dawn is a wonderful owner and easy to reach for anything. Our kids love the spiral staircase and the loft for sleeping. The house is close to everything so a perfect spot for the South Haven beach experience!

The location could not be better. We loved walking to the beach and downtown and the farmer’s market. The patio and kitchen are as shown in pics and really nice. There are things that I would want future guests to consider: if you are used to hypoallergenic or no pets this rental could be problematic, both upstairs and basement steps need to be used very carefully to prevent injury, pictures do not show a new build rental that is located very close to bungalow, the laundry facilities are in the basement that is susceptible to water during storms and may not be usable as an amenity as well as difficult for people sensitive to allergies. Bikes and beach supplies were limited in terms of one’s that were working properly. We have stayed in SoHo several times at this price point and this accommodation did feel very different. The owners were very responsive to our concerns which was appreciated, but most likely willl be back to the area but not this rental. These are big investments for most families (including ours) so just wanted to pass on our experience.

This is a great option for a single family. Close to everything and has all you need. The screened in porch was particularly nice in the mornings and evenings. I will say they need to invest in a new bed for the one bedroom. Small and very creaky which wasn’t ideal with an infant in the next room.

It was easy to walk to the beach and not far from town either. Great location! The house was clean and looked like the pictures. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We’d definitely like to come back! Note that although one of the main rooms has a TV, that room doesn’t exactly function as a living room since the two seats in it are separated by the spiral staircase. But this isn’t a big deal since there is a great conversation place in the screened-in porch or around the fire pit on the back patio.

We love the house and return every year. Our favorite thing is the screened-in back porch where we spend many hours chatting over a glass of wine. The location is perfect with an easy walk to the beach or to watch the sunset. It's also close to Julia's! The only bad part is having to leave at the end of the week. (Did the owners get our message about the smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night?)

The property was perfect for our stay. We wanted to get away for Memorial Day weekend. We need a quiet place for our daughter to study for finals and my husband and I to relax. THIS WAS IT! The house is blocks away from the beach AND downtown. Not only did we get to enjoy beachtime and shopping downtown but we were able to enjoy smores in the backyard firepit! Thank you for the awesome hostess gift. This house is set up to entertain, with it's big kitchen table, sunroom and backyard. My daughter loved having the whole upstairs to study and have her own space. I loved having my morning coffee in the sunroom. We can't say enough good things about this house. We look forward to coming back.

The cottage is simply adorable and was very clean. It is conveniently located just 2 blocks from the beach too. There's plenty of room and it was a plus that we were able to bring our 2 Goldens with us. The garage is stacked with toys and bikes for all ages plus a nice grill. The fire pit and seating is awesome too. Everything was perfect. It was our first time visiting South Haven and we are already planning on going back in the summer.
