I chose this hotel because there is a washing machine in the room. Parking spaces within the hotel are on a first-come, first-served. A challenge for those who drive an MPV (Kia Carnival & Hyundai Satria) and park it inside a building.
Walking distance to Olle Market & Restaurant,550m waking distance from hotel to Olive Young store.
Everything is good, It's just that the light in the room isn't bright enough.

일단 위치가 좋고 친절합니다. 숙소는 사진에서 보이는 그대로이고, 2층 공용 주방& 라운지가 넓고 깨끗해서 쓰기 좋아요 방도 깨끗하고, 기대보다 더 좋았어요

Overall room was okay, nearby bus station, Olle Market, Jeju Submarine
Nothing, overall was okay

Very comfortable stay in central Seogwipo. The room was clean and fairly spacious. Bottled water was provided upon check in and AC worked well.
There are elevators/lifts which is convenient.
Staff were some of the friendliest and helpful we met during our travels.
Location is walkable to many restaurants and cafes.
The rooftop was very cool. I would stay here again.
The bathroom could use a bit of an update.
More hooks to hang towels and clothes.

They have limited parking space but the staffs were kind enough to guide us on how to park on the roadside.
We went back after 9PM and the parking already full. But we got a nearby roadside parking, its safe and you will not be compound for parking there.
We arrived early and asked for early check-in but the staffs said additional charge is required. Lucky theres coffee shop nearby so we just hang out there before the check in time at 3PM.

The environment is good, the staff is good
nothing

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel had all the facilities that I needed even for a longer stay of 7 days. The hotel was in a quiet area and close to multiple bus stops making it fairly easy to get around. The staff was really nice as well.

Staff members were very nice and helpful. The room facilities were a bit worn out but the room was clean in general. It has been quite a comfortable stay.
It was nice to have a washing machine in the room. But maybe because the weather was humid, my clothes were still damp after hanging for two full days.
4.1
The room was spacious and it included all the necessary things.
Bed was really comfortable, they also provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The breakfast was so-so:
- you get eggs, milk, some cereals, toast, soup and coffee/water
- there are no veggies or fruits, no cheese or ham (which we missed a lot)
- overall though it's enough to start your day:)
Location is hard to judge as we had car and had no problems with transportation. It's also close to sea. However there are no beaches for swimming nearby.
The stuff at the hotel are always very kind and helpful:)
It's the small things
- There are not enough parking spots in the hotel
- They offered just hand towels (not enough to dry long hair)
- We could unfortunately smell cigarettes in our bathroom(non of us are smokers...)
- The AC is right above the bed and it was dripping water drops on our bed.
- Overall the room is clean and being cleaned everyday (which we appreciated), however the space under the bed was probably never cleaned before.
- The screw in the bathroom door was slightly unscrewed.
- The body wash bottle had broken lid
It's all small things but for such hotel it's a bit strange and could be easily improved to make the hotel look better.

The two front desk staff were friendly but tired from working for a bad example

Disappointing Stay at Hotel Rest Seogwipo ( 호텔 휴식 서귀포 )
Firstly, the food handling practices at Hotel Rest Seogwipo were quite alarming. I discovered that the manager transferred food from his own bowl to a guests plate without disclosing that it was second-hand food. This lack of transparency and disregard for basic food safety regulations left me feeling uneasy and concerned about potential health risks.
Furthermore, the noise disturbances caused by the cleaning staff were highly disruptive. Despite it being 8:00 in the morning, the staff were shouting and making excessive noise outside the hotel rooms. This greatly impacted my ability to relax and enjoy my stay, as I expected a peaceful and quiet environment.
Cleanliness standards at Hotel Rest Seogwipo were also lacking. Requiring guests to wash their own plates and cups after breakfast raised concerns about the cleanliness of these items. It is important for a hotel to ensure proper sanitation practices, and by shifting the responsibility onto guests, the hotel seemed to prioritise convenience over maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
Lastly, I was disappointed to discover that Hotel Rest Seogwipo charged additional fees for replacement sheets and pillows. I believe that essential amenities such as these should be provided without extra charges, as they are fundamental to a comfortable stay. This policy left me feeling inconvenienced and gave the impression that the hotel was trying to cut corners at the expense of guest satisfaction.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Rest Seogwipo was far from satisfactory. The issues with food handling, noise disturbances, cleanliness standards, and additional charges for amenities left a negative impression. I hope that the management addresses these concerns promptly to ensure a more pleasant and enjoyable experience for future guests.

Te location was very good, next to a food street full of restaurants. Around 10 minutes from the coastal attractions. I used the bus to come and go to the airport, and the hotel was very close to the stop. The staff very very friendly! That made my rate on this hotel to go up!
I was expecting a room a little bit bigger, but I will assume that in South Korea hotel rooms are not so big in general.
4.1
Washing machine in the room (apparently not available in every room), drying rack and laundry detergent provided for 1000 Won. Close to the market and the food streets a nice rooftop terrace:)

Thoroughly cleaned bathrooms, strong ac unit, right beside 7/11, provided body wash and shampoo
mosquitos, cant get fries without buying alcohol

The staff where very helpful. Even offered to stay late for a check in.
The room did not feel the cleanist and was pretty run down.
Fair bit of noise outside.
Odd rim layout has a kitchen but your not allowed to cook.
4.1
Staff very friendly. Good location near market and waterfall. Rooftop had a nice view. Appreciated that you could purchase craft beer and snacks! We arrived right around checkin and there was parking available onsite.
Room was very basic and while overall bedding and bathroom appeared clean, their was some dust and debris/hair in less used areas of the room. Also bathroom gets really slippery after shower. We booked assuming we wouldn’t spend much time in room, but it rained while we were there. You could hear some noise in hallway and nearby rooms. I don’t think there was any room AC control so we had to leave window open because room was kind of hot/stuffy- could hear street noise as well.

Amazing place that is conveniently located in the heart of Seogwipo with easy access to public transport. Room exceeded our expectations - spacious and exceptionally clean. Shower pressure was good, and beds were comfy. Amazingly, it had a washing machine within the room, which made it easy to do laundry (the hotel even lent us their drying rack). The hotel also had a rooftop which offers a stunning view of Seogwipo and the surrounding mountains. Best hotel ever!

great staff. rooms are awesome. have a washing machine! triple ply windows. very quiet

Location is perfect. Few metres away from parking facility and surrounded by restaurants/street food market & convenience stores.
Key less & environmentally friendly.
We were promised large towels but only got small ones but on the plus side, we had more than we needed.

close to the market, car park, 7/11 around the corner . very friendly staff.
thin walls. could literally hear next door at 2am coming in/out, talking, water going, moving things around

Delighted that room has a washing machine. Location is accessible to many eateries
Pillow too soft

Good location near Olle Market, cleanliness, washing machine, friendly staffs, and a rooftop with a view of Hallasan mountain.
Nothing much. I think this was my favorite hotel so far in Korea.
4.1
The room is spacious and clean. I loved the little table and chairs. The bed is comfy and the room is really warm even without the underfloor heating on. The shower is a wet room but there is enough space to not wet everything like in some hotels. The location is great for exploring seogwipo and catching buses to other parts of jeju. Ths staff are lovely and very welcoming. Overall you can't go wrong with this hotel!
4.1
It was not bad situated. The staff was kind.
It said that they had free and private parking space within the hotel but it is a lie. We booked it because of it so when we arrived we felt deceived. We were told to go to a “free” parking but it was not free so we had an extra expense because of it.
Also the bathroom fan didn’t work so the bathroom was humid all the time.

Location was good. Walking distance to waterfall, night market and art street.

Nothing.
When booking, the room description mentioned that there was a washing machine. However, when checking the reviews, I noticed that some of the reviewers had commented that when they arrived at the room, there was indeen no washing machine. So I had specifically asked for a room with a washing machine which was confirmed in writing.
Upon checking in, I discovered that the toilet wasn't functioning properly. When it was flushed, the water tank took a long time to refill water. I would've had to wait half an hr for it to refill even half way. When I alerted the manager to the problem, he was very dismissive and said that all toilets in Jeju were like that which was weird considering the toilet at reception worked as a normal toilet would. He said that the water tank takes abouts 2-3 minutes to fill up. After 10 minutes, the water tank was still almost empty to which I alerted the manager. He responded like I had inconvenienced him by raising a valid concern. Upon checking the toilet himself, he recognised that there was in fact a problem with it and went out to get some tools. He came back about 20 minutes later and fiddled around the toilet before claiming it had been fixed. After he left, I tested it out and the toilet was still the same. Couldn't even flush it because the water tank was basically empty still after all that time. Given my negative experience thus far, I decided to change hotels and ask for a cancellation based on the fact that the room did not even have a functioning toilet.. a basic requirement in any hotel. The manager told me to cancel it via booking.com and in fact put it in writing that he would refund the two nights remaining but not the first night. Not sure why I should have to pay for one night since there was no way they would have been able to get someone to stay in a room with no functioning toilet.
4.1
room was spacious enough for our big luggages.
room cleaning was done everyday complete with change of fresh towels and free bottled water.
it has great view of Mt hallasan out of our windows.
car park is first come fist serve basis. if the property's carpark is full and so is the immediate external roadside carparks, you will need to park at a multistorey parking complex (not free) few streets away!
4.1
Prime location, near the food streets. There were convenience stores just downstairs as well. The staff were very friendly and made sure we understood everything. Overall a great stay worth the money!
The rooms were a little bit dusty but nothing too unbearable. Room size is a bit on the smaller side.
4.1
Location. The shared kitchen on level 2. Easy access to places of interest by bus though it takes long. Good water pressure.
Very poor soundproofing, did not sleep during the 4 nights stay. This is the first accomodation I have rated poor and will not recommend especially if you are there with your kids. They will question what those moanings and cries are and why there are loud creakings of the bed next door. It feels like our shared wall may just collapsed together with their climax 😅 too "sexciting" for us to take it for 4 nights! Plus the heavy metal door that closes with a super loud bang which you could hear from rooms of your level, those near to you from upstairs and downstairs too.
Lastly all the staff I hv encountered were unfriendly and unhelpful who would choose to ignore you; the first of a kind we have experienced during our 1 month stay in Korea.
Luckily, only 4 out of our 30 nights was unrestful.
