Hosts are really nice, place is great with a nice outdoor kitchen in the lovely garden. Children really enjoyed the swimming pool. At a walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Even a Soda near the hotel (and a restaurantbut we did not try it). These were the last three days of our trip and we really enjoy it!
Only good things for us

Silva was very helpful and welcoming. She also gave us many tips on the local area
She communicated well and we enjoyed speaking with her about the things we had planned.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. We also had access to the pool, a fridge, and cooking area which helped save money on some meals.
For the price breakfast could have been provided even if just toast/continental style, especially as there is an onsight restaurant area.
Also the bar had a table tennis area and foosball which were fun, but we felt a little uncomfortable with the staff as they were watching loud TV shows/music whilst we were there.

Silvia provides the friendliest of welcomes, and was so helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't have wished for anything more, a perfect stay
Had an evening meal there too which was exceptional 😋

Such a beautiful garden! So many birds! This place is so peaceful, lovely pool, clean, comfy, large rooms. Right next to the beach - we think the best beach in costa rica. The soda serves delicious food. Sylvia the owner is a lovely lady, really helpful, great knowledge of the area and what to do etc. We also ate at Sylvia's and her husbands italian restaurant and the food and vibe was perfect! We loved our stay, thank you 🥰

Very nice well maintained property with lots of birds around. The owners are super lovely and we felt welcomed and looked after. The location is close to the beach and makes it so convenient.
Thanks again for everything!
There is nothing much I can say, besides the bed mattress was a bit too soft, you were quite sinking in. Wasn't too comfortable to sleep.

Large rooms. Hot showers. Superb pasta dishes from Italian restaurant which is open on demand. Excellent service. Also good value food and drink available from early to late from cafe attached ( run by Costa Ricans).

tThe owners, Anna Silvie and Ferndo were friendly and kind. They helped us even before our stay, arranging trips for us.
They cooked a lovely meal for us and nothing was too much trouble.
it is a small complex but has everything you need and is an ideal location - walking distance to the ballena national park.
if we return to Uvita, we would stay here again.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Host Silvia was extremely welcoming and kind. She offered to help us book tours and arrange laundry service, and even entertained our baby so we could enjoy a home-cooked Italian meal at the in-house restaurant! The grounds are beautiful with a lush garden where we saw hummingbirds every morning, and took relaxing dips in the small pool. It all felt very family friendly with self-catering facilities. Our room was cleaned every day, and a brand new AC unit had just been installed. The location is convenient to Uvita restaurants and the national park beaches, although with a small baby it was still more practical for us to drive most of the distances. We spent just over a week here and really enjoyed our stay!!
We tended to sink into the mattresses, but overall the room was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 3!

Our Stay at Dolce Uvita was great and we really enjoyed being here. Since Uvita was our first stay in Costa Rica, Anna (host) helped us with probably everything and gave us so many infos and tips what kind of stuff we could do in the greater uvita area.
We also enjoyed the breakfast (additional 10 $ per person)
Since our shower was handicapped accessible, the water flowed into the room when showering. However, we were helped instantly with enough towels. This problem only occurs in one of the rooms (#1), because the hotel must have at least one handicapped accessible room.

Beautiful garden with big trees (mango, papaya, avocado, cashew,...), the best was the enormous ylang ylang tree that filled the garden with an exotic perfume as soon as the sun had warmed it. Many comfortable beds, we put two of them together and had a huge family bed. Close to National Park, playgrounds, on main street. Very friendly owners that prepared a delicious diner for us with complimentary pico de papaya verde made of the papayas that didnt survive the storm in one night (and even brought more tomatoes when they noticed our kids liked them) and helped us arrange a nice birthday breakfast (huuuuge with loads of fruit and muffins and hot chocolate and...) surrounded by bougainvillas for our 6-year-old son.

The owners were very helpful, both in answering emails and with directions and suggestions on our arrival. Their food was delicious, and ambiance lovely.
In the early morning, the road closest to our room became a race track for a group of motorcycles. They went up and down the road, staging their activity quite close to our room. If that is a local gang, perhaps the owners can talk with them.

A beautiful place with top hosts! I had a wonderful large room surrounded by the beautiful garden. very clean, in walking distance to the national park, the hosts help with organizing activities. Best of all is the Food! Authentic Italian dinner and the most tasty breakfasts I had in all of Costa Rica! This is the place to stay in Uvita.

The property is bigger than it looks when you dorst enter. The best part of the hotel are the friendly owners. Sylvia is very kind and helpfull, her husband makes fresh bread, pasta, the baked bananas with cinamon are the best we had in Costa Rica. Good breakfast and dinner. A good spot to do tours around.

The big dogs were barking a lot.

There is no breakfast, but it is not necessary. Many eateries nearby. Room is spacious, with two separate rooms and air conditioning is nice. You also have your own garden in front of the door. Very central location close to the beach. Host is very nice and explains everything well to you.
Bed was extremely hard. We have never had such a hard bed in the 4 weeks of traveling through Costa Rica. Sleeping was therefore not very comfortable. Shower also had a bit of a foul smell which was masked with a multitude of scent devices.

Beautiful garden with pool, close to the beach, the owners will help you with finding your way and go out of their way to give you a pleasant stay.
