the host was very helpful and friendly. the kitchen was well equipped. the place was clean and quiet.
if you don't have a car, then it will be really hard to go around. Also, there are some ants in the rooms, but I've seen that in all cabins in that region, so it is not really a minus but a fact of life!

Tana is the nicest host and Sofie is the sweetest paw friend. Sofie likes hanging around with us and she was very gentle and well behaved towards our small kids.
The place is close to restaurants and supermarkets, and a walking distance to the main road and to a natural stream. It is also close to a waterfall and close to nature in general.
Our cabin had an AC and a fan to circulate the cold air to the rooms (we had 2 bedrooms in our cabin). We had a functional kitchen and a fridge in our cabin and there is also a shared one outside. The pots and pans were new and so were the plates and cups. We prepared meals in our kitchenette with ease.
The place is old but spotless. The beds are comfortable and the linens and curtains are of high quality. The towels were older but clean and soft.
We wished there were screens on the bathroom and kitchen windows so we can open them without letting bugs and mosquitos in. Not a big deal though. We managed😀. Hooks to hang towels would have been nice😊but again it's not a big deal. We were creative and resourceful so were fine. Putting chairs inside would have crowded the area so we sat on the sofa bed to eat our meals. We used the cute coffee table and and bedside tables to make a makeshift dining table. Again, we were very adaptable and resourceful to stay on top of any situation. We could have sat outside too on the shared area.
There was a construction going on in the neighborhood but it did not bother us because we were up early and almost were not there during the day.
Tana is the new owner and she is really making an effort in turning an old place look nice and feel comfortable. She makes sure you feel at home.
She is still in the process of making everything perfect and we wish her the very best of luck.

The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave multiple tips on the area and each one of them was really wonderful. Made us feel like we were a local instead of doing the same touristy things everyone else was doing.
I think the bed could have been a little more comfortable. But for the rate we paid, it was completely fine. Also, there is no hot water for the shower, so just be prepared for a bit of a rustic experience.

the bungalow was much better than the pictures, really nice and confortable, very very clean. And with little porch to sit outside having breakfast and listening to the forest and all the birds in the morning….. was really a great stay! we loved it!
Tana, the host, couldnt be more helpfull! the place is a bit out of hand, if you come without car, but she always gave us a lift when necessary and helped us rent bikes, was so nice and helpfull all the time!

Lovely comfortable apartments with everything you’d need for a few days stay, the outdoor kitchen and sitting area was great. The location is good, not too far from everything. The host Tana is the kindest and most helpful host we’ve had in our 4 month trip, she gave great recommendations for Uvita, gave us lifts to the bus station and answered any questions or issues we had promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would really recommend!
It can get a little hot in the apartments but the fans make it bearable!

Perfect and cute accommodation in Uvita, feels like you are basically staying in the jungle but still close to everything in town. Had kitchen facilities and space for parking. Owner was lovely, and her dog is so sweet too!

We loved our stay in Casa Morpho!! Tana is an amazing host and made sure we have everything we need. She picked us up at the bus station and gave us other rides during our stay. She provided tons of recommendations and was always super attentive and friendly. And her dog Sofi is absolutely adorable! The place was nice and comfortable. The location is a bit far away from the main part of Uvita but it's still within walking distance from the beach and a couple of restaurants and grocery stores plus Tana was very helpful with giving occasional rides so didn't really bother us.
Nothing really

Wow, this is a really nice place. We got to see so much of Uvita and the surroundings during our three day stay thanks to the super host Tana! She really made an effort to make every guest satisfied. She gave us a tour of the town, took us to the market (If you visit on a saturday, don´t miss it!) and a lot of other places. We rented bikes wich was super nice to have there. We also used the laundry service wich was cheap, clean, fast, very dry and everything neatly folded! The kitchen was well equipped and the outside space was the perfect spot to socialize and hang out with other travellers!

The property is in a very relaxing area. Nice room and a good shared kitchen.
Probably the best host that you will find in Costa Rica (Thank you very much Tana)

The hospitality of the owner is special. She offers transfers to/from the bus, the bank, the supermarket, etc. She took us and other guests to a beautiful waterfall which was well hidden.
We booked for three nights, but we thought the place was so relaxed and the location is perfect in Uvita, so we booked another night here. The owner made it possible for us to stay one night longer.
The location is quiet and close to the jungle, but still close to the stores and beaches.
The owner told us that she wants to build more rooms and a swimmingpool in the garden. One room and the pool would be accesible for wheelchair users. That is such a wonderful and heartwarming idea!
The rooms are a bit noisy, so you can hear the other guests if they are up early.
There is no warm water in the shared shower.

Super nice host. Treehouse was perfect.
Maybe little curtains for the little window

great family bungalow. clean, good AC, kitchen in cabin. friendly owner. spoke great English, have advise on good beaches. even had boogie boards!
a little small- no room for a table inside. need more hooks in all rooms. would be nice to get dry towels each day. other guests were a little noisy, but luckily they didn’t stay up too late

Very pleasant stay in Casa Morpho with our 3 kids. The place is calm. The equipment (kitchen, A/C, etc.) is complete and useful. These were our best nights in Costa Rica. Thanks.

the rooms, the open fully equipped kitchen and the whole place surrounded by nature was amazing!
Tana is an amazing host! and the most helpful person you can expect! she will help you with everything you need and also take you to nice trips and adventures!
We had a wonderful time there and would immediately book again!
The place looks much better than on the pictures!!
it’s a bit to walk from the bus station and to the beach, but like I said Tana will pick you up and everything if you need it so it’s not that we didn’t like it!!
and they will build a Walmart close to here place soon which will be even better for the location!

I had booked the tree house, a beautiful room with a shared bathroom next to the jungle. The owner was super helpful, she showed me the waterfall, the beach gates and a lot of restaurants.

Everything about Casa Morpho is spot on. The owner, the legendary Tana, helped us in everything. We had three amazing days, our room was super clean and spacious. You can also rent bicycles. Best guest house we stayed in Costa Rica.

great stay at Casa Morpho! the owner is ver king and helpful, and there’s everything you need on the property. it’s also a few min walk off the main road, which means you won’t be woken up by the trucks in the morning 😉
thank you again!

Amazing and very cute place! It really exceeded all of our expectations :) the area is very peaceful, safe and chill, the nature is crazy and you could walk to Ballena National Park. Kitchen is very cute and has all necessary supplies. The place was also spotless clean. Once in two days there were cleaning people coming and washing all the dishes (we had our kitchen shared with one another room) and cleaning everything. I think this was the cleanest place we stayed at through our whole trip. Pablo was very friendly and very helpful with tips. Would definitely stay there again and even for a longer time. The whole area of the place is just amazing.

so peaceful and quiet, everything we needed, really helpful owners, would definitely stay again!

The spot of the apartment is beautiful. We had three fantastic days with a functional shower, a washing machine and much of space and calmness. The owner is very nice and helpful, so we had the opportunity to rent bicycles and explore the surrounding part of uvita.
Highly recommend for this great apartment.
It was a little hot without AC.

The owners were very sweet, the place had a kitchen and a garden, and was conveniently located close to a cute coffee and bagel shop and close to the beach. Loved it!
All was good

tip: there were no towels in the kitchen to dry the dishes.

The place is chilled, quiet, and the owners gave me a lift when I needed it which was really nice. Beautiful nature around, not too far from the seashore albeit with a noisy road in between. The room was clean, the facilities with the kitchen are nice and the room was big.
I didn't like that the booking.com listing had "standard bungalow" and "bungalow with shared bathroom" but in fact the "standard bungalow" is also with shared bathroom. So they are the same and there shouldn't be two names for those bungalows. It's confusing and disappointing. Also, while my room had a nice balcony with huge windows, the curtains are way to bright I couldn't sleep after 5 am due to the light in the room. I was also very cold the first night, the very light blanket was not sufficient at all, but thankfully, the lady brought me another one the day after, so it was better. Last: the LED light in the room was quite horrible, I don't understand why people use those, it gives a bleak horrible atmosphere. Another lamp in the room would have been nice.

I think the best part of this stay was that we were the only guests so we had privacy. The kitchen was equipped just enough to stay a couple of days, everything was clean, just the towels could be better. The staff was nice and helpful, they recommend us a lot of places to visit. The room was spacious and comfy.

The location is excellent, quiet and close to nature, bikes to use to go to the beach/supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the stay!

Very quiet location off the main road, with a fully stocked communal kitchen, even a blender! Owners were exceptionally helpful & friendly.
We even saw toucans in the trees behind our room.
Everything about Casa Morpho was wonderful, the only problem for us was that we didnt have our own transport so that made it very difficult to get around as it is quite far from the centre, approx 1.5km along a very busy highway. Also the nearest beaches are all paid entry 6 usd per person per day.
