Loved the garden and outside space which had many seating areas and options including couches in a covered porch, large pool with small cold pool, beds were large and extremely comfortable, location to park and restaurants was great, locked gate provided peace of mind, the staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a great stay of 3 nights.
Small things such as some of the finishing let down the standard of property, you need to put felt pads on the chairs to prevent the loud scraping sound, we could have used utility food stuff such as sugar, oil etc.

Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic.

We had a difficult time finding the place because there was no sign. The ladies also spoke no English so that was a bit challenging. Also, although it is not their fault, there were some very loud dogs nearby who barked ofte.

Matched the description and was value for money. Clean, quiet, well-equipped and comfortable balcony.
It was difficult to reach the staff, even during the day there was sometimes no one to be seen and messages were answered with a delay. It would be good if it were known when the staff would be there for sure and if there was a guide book with the key things about the hotel and Uvita.

Really lovely place. Clean and well appointed. Very secure parking. We didn't honestly use the facilities as we were out and about each day of our stay. The pool area is nice but probably was an over indulgence and not required based on how we actually used the hotel.
Balcony was beautiful place to have breakfast. Genuinely great place. My pool comment is only about our needs rather than a judgement on it's quality!
Everything was great

We stayed here for four nights, in mid-March, and everything about this property and our stay, exceeded expectations. (This was my fifth time in Costa Rica and this was the nicest property I have ever stayed in.) We intentionally headed further south than previous visits, seeking a quieter, less-frequented village. We also wanted to explore Playa Ballena, which ended up being a 10 minute walk away from Uvita Paradise.
When we arrived, we were personally greeted by the manager, Casey, who provided us with a tour of our apartment and the amenities. (There is secure parking, as the property is behind a large gate.) She answered every one of our questions, was easily accessible via whatsapp (after hours) and, along with the housekeepers (who did our laundry for free!!) made us feel like we were staying in a boutique hotel.
The property is stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. It really is "Paradise". We stayed in one of the bottom floor apartments, with our two children. It was big enough for all four of us and the king-sized bed was, by far, the most comfortable bed we slept in during our weeks-long adventure in Costa Rica. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, but there were several restaurants just a walk away, that we frequented daily. (We highly recommend Que Tuanis Cafe!)
We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces, accessible all day and into the evening. There were other guests staying there, but there was plenty of space. The kids also enjoyed the playground, just two minutes away (walking). We met kind locals and felt like we were living "pura vida" in every way.
If you are looking for a piece of paradise, with easy access to the nearby - gorgeous - beaches, we highly recommend Uvita Paradise. We will absolutely return!

The place is very nice with comfortable appartments, a nice pool and jacuzzi and overall clean and well maintained facilities. Staff was also very nice.
Nothing to add here, honestly.

The hotel itself is fine, the apartments large and spacious. They have very large comfortable beds. Service is nice and cordial. The hotel however lacks character and Costa Rican hospitality which we met in other places (we have been travelling during 3 weekes). Too bad it doesn't offer breakfast. The hotel has a nice garden with sun loungers. There is also a swimming pool, but I didn't dare to take a swim, the water was very dirty.
The swimming pool was in a very bed condition. The water was dirty and you couldn’t see the bottom. Only muddy water. On the third day of our stay the profesional staff came to clean the water and used some chemicals so the water looked Ok. But generally it is not fair. You pay for the hotel with a swimming pool and you and your children cant use it.

Situated on a dirt road, away from traffic noises. Nice pool area and the room was spacious enough and cleaned every day. Nice that you can park the car inside the gate. I loved how everywhere in Uvita you feel close to the nature, birds fly by, even the scarlet macaws and we saw a hummingbird one morning just behind the hotels gate.
Not the hotels fault, but there is a lot of dogs around and they bark all day, luckily they pipe down after 9pm.

We loved that the pool area had a variety of places to hang out, in the shade and in the sun.
The air conditioned room was a welcome retreat from the heat.
No signage outside to know we were at the property.

Breakfast not applicable, but good fridge and kitchen equipment to make our own. Location great, private but amongst neighbours.
We were later than expected arriving and had to ask another guest to help us find someone to let us in.

The property is stunning, well maintained and in a great location. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Note that the laundry is not accessible by oneself directly, but the kind folks will do your laundry for you.
There are no time restrictions for using the pools and during our stay, there were children playing noisily during all hours of the day and well into the night. For the price point of the property, that should be handled better, in our view.
Also note that the kitchenette of the smaller apartments is not really equipped for cooking larger meals.
Expectedly, the surrounding area is somewhat noisy, as it's very populated.

The hotel itself is pretty -- well maintained garden and nice pool, though it needs more frequent cleaning.
The crews who only spoke Spanish were super friendly nice but due to language barrier they couldn't do much for us.
Uvita Paradise was a failure. Ruined our Christmas plan to enjoy tours in Uvita. We left right away.
When we attempted shower we found out there is no hot water. This was 10PM. Hot water never happened and given the weird noise it was making, we figured it was broken. I sent whatsapp to the owner and she told me "It has never happened and all other rooms water is working so it's just your problem". I had to take photos, videos to prove what's going on. How to convince an arrogant owner especially when she was never at the property?
Normally, any boutique hotels would deal with this with apology and provide an alternative solution rather than blaming the guests by taking pride in their property, wasting so much of your time.
Uvita is total rural country side. This place was more expensive than the 4 start hotel we stayed in San manual antonio and didn't even have hot water.
Owner sent a guy to the room to check and found out the water heater is broken. Then finally the owner offered a key to another room to just take a shower. It rained so after the shower we got soaked in the rain and got dirty. That was around 2:30AM.
The bedding had stains, some hairs that did not belong to me, hair dryer was covered in sand and the blanket was really dirty. I had to clean everything with alcohol tissue I brought. I eventually started having rash so slept covered in my clean beach towel for 3 hours before heading to the tour. I wish I could cancel but it costed us 400.
Owner took so much pride in their property and didn't listen. I question the owner's attitude for hospitality industry. The property looks nice but the plumbing is done wrong and I don't think they are doing very good maintenance. High chance of going run down with such attitude. Having worked in 5 star resort in Maldives, I was disgusted by the treatment we received. They said they were going to fix the heater but when we got back it was still broken.
