Close to the sea. The apartment has quite a lot of space and was fairly clean.
As mentioned in many other comments, the parking and adjacent roads are very narrow and full of potholes. The apartment is in a middle of a rural area, though not the romantic, Italian cliche village type. Also there aren't many Italians in the neighborhood. The garden around the house is totally abandoned so there really isn't anywhere to sit outside. There is no table or chairs on the balcony either. Also, the apartment is quite dark with few windows and surrounded by bushes,. This may be good in the summer months but felt unpleasant in November.

- The house was recently renovated
- it’s 5 minutes walk to the beach, and the sea is beautiful
- there is WiFi and it works well
- the house is in a side street, very narrow and bumpy, close to an ugly abandoned field
- the mosquitoes make it impossible to use the balconies, normally we would rush inside the flat not to be attacked by scourges of tiger mosquitoes
- communication with the landlord was very slow and not smooth at all
- the living room is quite dark
- there is airco, but only in the living room
- there is no hot water in the kitchen
- there is no drinking water, meaning you need to buy it
- there is nothing you can reach by feet besides the beach. You need the car to do anything
- parking in the garden is really complicated
- while the beach is generally clean, the country you need to cross to walk there is quite in a bad shape, with dried grass and trash
We were a bit shocked when we arrived, because of those things I wrote. Once we settled in we ended up enjoying our stay, but it was mainly because the sea is beautiful, local people were very nice and it was overall a relaxed holiday. But If you plan to go you need to be ready, because the house has several things you will need to compromise with. If you are fine with that, also considering the price it was ok.

La casa di Nonna Attilia is situated close to the really nice beach (5 minutes’ walk). The house is a little bit difficult to find using GPS, it is located in the side alley (number 94). In the building there are two apartments. You can hear the sound of the sea from the terrace of the apartment and you can see the trees on the dune near the beach. The apartment looks new and at this price level it is simply the best place to stay in the area. There is a roofed parking space on site, which some people may find difficult to access. The surrounding streets are tiny as well as the gate. The entry and exit from the parking might be a challenge for bigger cars than compact class. In our opinion the car is a must because the nearest supermarket is few kilometres away as well as the restaurants.
The apartment is well protected against mosquitos (nets are in all the windows). We found the main room (salon) a little bit dark, but it might be an advantage during the very hot days. The are two comfortable bedrooms with large wardrobes. The kitchen is well equipped.
The landlord is really nice and helpful, he arranged for us the cleaning lady (at additional costs) and gave us a discount in the very good restaurant situated on the route to Terracina.
We highly recommend La casa di Nonna Attilia.
