We declined to stay at this facility.

We did not like this facility at all and ended up not staying. The unit we were offered was not bad but the whole setup of this facility does not meet the standards for a common tourist traveler. It resembles a truck stop more than an overnight stop for tourists

The location is behind a 24 hour petrol station and not the place for elderly travelers like us. The food is very basic take away type items from a small convenience shop with no seating. There is a local bar and live outdoor music which did not appeal to us. I cannot recommend this facility to travelers.

An imaginative experience with wonderful spa service!

A proper Finnish sauna available at the Spa. Generally good services all close by, including petrol station and ATM. A very exotic experience to have your room in a decommissioned train car.

The toilet in the room should have at least a curtain to separate it from the rest of the room. I would assume this to be better in the non-traincar-rooms. Also, the train car was not originally a sleeping cabinet car, but a regular passenger car completely refurbished and equipped with a double bed – a bit of a disappointment towards the original expectations.

Comfy and friendly

Food given the price was nice, There's canteen offered plenty of options. Pizza was good

To me the only thing was if your was for fries would heat up in microwave and they would have soggy texture.

Value for money accommodation relatively close to Etosha.

Comfortable spacious room with big bathroom and beds. The deli makes the most delicious pizzas

The accommodation is located behind a petrol garage and a little supermarket, which seemed a bit peculiar at first, but the overall location is good when one return Etosha.

chaotic check in…disappointing service

I liked the idea of sleeping in a train compartment. it was done up very well and tasteful

I phoned ahead and told the staff I would be late, hoping my check I. will go smooth. I had to check in at the shop, other customers paying for their daily essentials, me checking in. staff not finding my details, it was chaotic and I found the cashier very rude and I’ll mannered. worst check in ever. they didn’t even explain, just gave us water and the keys. we had to go somewhere else to have breakfast as nothing was explained.

Superb

Unit 9 is really first class, spotlessly clean and with almost all one needs. Reception (in the shop) staff were the usual blend of Namibian friendliness and efficiency. The host (owner), came to check all was well. Once again, friendly thoughtful and really on the ball.

Fair enough, it is part of a truck stop complex and is therefore noisy at times (human and engine noise). But not unbearable. There was only a very small kettle to make tea. The adjacent "deli" was not particularly well stocked. We did have to drive into town to have an evening meal.

This accommodation is different and a must do for travelers visiting the area.

The breakfast was good and the location away from the city was a big bonus. The aircon in the wagon on the hot day was a truly refreshing. Highly recommendable.

A little lacking but sufficient. We’ll be back.

Converting a train car into rooms is an excellent idea Though we never met the host in person, she was very kind and accommodating on the phone.

The staff with the keys could have been nicer/more respectful. The toilet needs TLC. The kettle could be moved to a functional location. Some outlets didn’t work. The smart TV didn’t function this time, as opposed to the other time we stayed there.

Pleasant

The evening walk in the vineyard and watching the sunset was beautiful. The accommodation was 45 min drive to Etosha's Namutoni gate making it a good place for an early start to go to the park.

Vehicle parking could have been better secured, although there were security cameras overlooking the area and it was well lit. There was a beehive in the vicinity of the chalet.

It's a lovely niche stay--you can really tell that a lot of love has gone into the Inn and property

The check in process was easy; complimentary waters were a really nice touch; the room was luxurious; the wifi was fast and easy to access in the room; water was hot. We enjoyed our walk around the grounds (vineyards) and the breakfast at the roadhouse was tasty and affordable.
