Great location quiet and very peaceful location.

The view is absolutely beautiful! Several nice upgrades & very comfortable.

Overall, this rental fit our needs perfectly. The view is amazing, and the location was perfect. The only downsides were the bathroom could have used another wipe down prior to check in and the rug in the entry way is a tripping hazard with a corner sticking up. But the place was otherwise great, and we wouldn't hesitate to stary there again.

My partner and I have booked this property twice now and we love it so much! We went once in the fall and once in the summer and it was the perfect getaway. Quiet area, beautiful views and excellent location. We will definitely be back again!

This was the perfect place for a little getaway! It was spacious, clean, amazing views, and felt very cozy. My partner didn't know where we were staying for vacation until we got to the house and he was blown away! Definitely a great place to stay in Sugar Mountain.

The view is the best part, but the gas fireplace, big king bed, in room hot tub, and clean comfortable space made this a great stay.

This is the second time that we’ve stayed here is absolutely amazing views, quiet, secluded off the beaten path and yeah, you’ve got to go to the top of the mountain but it’s well worth it.

Was surprised when we pulled up and it appeared to be an apartment complex. Was expecting a cabin look. Wood signs with numbers are kinda hard to see but we found it ok. Keyless lock didnt work. Called to get a code for the key lock. Lady was very nice and helpful. Once inside it has the cabin look and feel! Beautiful furniture and view!! Had everything we needed except toilet paper and extra towels. Stayed 3 nights. Only had less than half a roll of TP. Called customer service and they brought additional TP, towels, & washcloths. Front door has a gap. Can see outside so not sure how secure it is. Didnt use the tub but the shower had strong pressure and was perfect! We enjoyed the stay. Very nice place. Loved the pillows! Ordering our own from Amazon! Nice location. Fairly close to anything you need.

The property was ok. We were unable to get in d/t bad lock. Luckily, the neighbor was able to get us in with her code. The gas logs wouldn't work, there was a large stain on our comforter, the dishwasher didn't work, the hot tub didn't work correctly and none of this was fixed until the next day. Didn't like the late check in time.

View was beautiful - that’s where the good ended.
- Entry code did not work, phone call required
- Very large and also smaller stain on bed spread,
unsightly, off-putting
- No towels, washcloths, etc., phone call required,
directed to dryer outside entrance, found towels,
folded and placed myself
- AC fan worked, but did not cool; phone call
required
- No water pressure, shower not possible; phone
call required
- TV remotes dead
- Was told local help not available until next day,
we vacated & found hotel
Run far, run fast from this property.
BTW, have heard nothing from managers, etc. since. Our credit card company is disputing payment for us.

I was not able to get in and had to find internet/service to call for an alternate way in. Description didn’t disclose how many stairs were involved. I’m handicap and it didn’t go well for me. Fridge and freezer was not working and the dishes were dirty. Coffee maker was so molded and needs to be trashed.

As with other reviewer‘s, I agree the view is great. You stay on the backside of sugar but you have views of Beech Mountain which at night when they’re making snow with the lights on it’s pretty awesome. The location just passed sugar ski resort could be a little tricky to find at first just go right past the ski resort like you’re going tubing and just continue on up the mountain and go from there. The Jacuzzi hot tub is huge and works great. The kitchen had everything you needed and the fireplace completed the package. It’s gas so you just have to cut it on and not have to worry about firewood or anything which is great when you’re tired from skiing all day. The unit was clean, and had plenty of towels etc. The only reason I take a half star off is because there is no grill to cook out on. I don’t fault the owner, as the decks are made with wood and they can’t risk a fire, but that is the only thing I can think of that is missing and especially for people who like to grill out like me. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend these units to anyone going skiing at Sugar Mountain. We will definitely be back.

The accommodations were great. The condo is cozy.and the view is magnificent.
My problem was finding the place after I arrived at Sugar Mountain The directions provided were not clear and caused a delay in checking in.
Otherwise, it is an excellent facility

Great place for a get away. Love the view, very clean accommodations. All the comforts of home. My only issue was the early morning sanding and vacuuming in the stairwell just outside the bedroom during my stay/

At the top of sugar mountain can’t beat the view. Spacious condo. HUGE indoor hot tub. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. No soap or shampoo which surprised me but I had brought some with me. Confusing about how to use the heat. (The brown dials control the radiators not the remotes! The remotes are for the white contraptions) Would definitely stay again.

Wrong dates, somehow it went thru HomeAway, then Vacasa and got messed up. So according to Vacasa we were a day late, but the bed was messed up, no linens, no towels, no rags, no paper towels or toilet paper, no soap…etc. We called Vacasa 4 times in 2 hours up until 9:30 pm. Each time we were promised a call back but never received one and each call there had been no response from anyone. Finally we received a text from a local person who moved us to another place. Of course we had to pack up and drive someplace else. Nice place but the whole deal was totally a mess. The people that had just checked in above us said they had multiple issues with Vacasa checking in, this was before we realized we had an issue also. Not good. My wife’s Birthday. So after we left we received an email 9:45 pm saying that our original location was not available due to housekeeping issues, no kidding. We were told we would receive a credit for 1 night, the dates were corrected. But so far nothing as far as a credit.

The condo was nicely appointed. Spacious for the two of us. Had all the amenities and the comfort of home. And most of all an incomparable view

Awesome view, available air-conditioning
3.0 / 5.0
The unit was very clean and very well equipped. The kitchen is newly remodeled. My wife and I liked the location and the neighbors above us were very quiet. The view of the Mountains was beautiful. Overall a decent stay, however the air conditioning does not work. We would stay in this unit again only if the air conditioning was fixed.

I loved the view of the mountains and the fresh air and clean delicious water. The decor of this unit is very nice and cozy. The vacassa reps are nearby should you need anything. The 2 tvs are a nice amenity. For me the deck and the view were everything.

Lovely view, stain-free furniture, updated kitchen.
Shower doors come off tracks,
Primary bedroom door drags on wood floor.

Great couples getaway
We had a great experience. The room was clean. We did have a little difficulty trying to get the heat to work and figure out the unit. Took us about a whole day to get it from 60° up to like 73. But besides that everything was amazing. We especially loved the speakers throughout the house.
