Property fairly well-maintained, did find a few broken items, and had to get propane canister from other cabin for grill. My wife had the pleasure of having entire property to ourselves, dogs loved playing in river and running along trails, gree house was cute.

Knew it was small, one bedroom for two, but not having a closet or much room for hanging our clothes was not expected. WiFi not working well at all...difficulty getting TV to work much at all. Modern air conditioner, ceiling fan, and fireplace all with remote controls unexpected and helpful.

We enjoyed three nights at this cozy cabin. Two cabins are situated in the same area, with each having fire pits and big porches. Nice trail to walk the dogs ... Quite nice.

My stay gave me the peace and quiet I was looking for, but it was also convenient to hiking trails, etc. I will be coming back but with a few people and will more than likely will rent the big cabin right around the bend from the cabin I stayed in.

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary love the cabin very nice and clean the area right in the woods. We arrived early before check in cabin was ready and J phoned owner she said as long as the cleaners are done you can go in, that was great cause I feel a late check in you actually waste a day. Thank you will recommend

Small cabin was exactly as advertised. Great space for the dogs to roam. Easy access to a fishable river. Furnishings were fine , not shabby as others have said. Kitchenette had a large microwave, toaster oven and a high end hot plate for simple meals. I’d recommend a 4x4 in the winter as the driveway is hilly and sometimes icy…it’s the Poconos. Stayed a week and it snowed 20 inches! Road was well plowed. Warm and cozy even at 15 degrees. Great time.

Great place! Well kept. The only thing that disappointed us (which you have no control over) was the ticks! They were everywhere. Made hiking and walking in the woods difficult. Our dog was covered and had to be flea checked (as well as us) every time we went back in the cabin. But as I said beyond your control. So we stuck to the road for our walks, four a day! Would definitely do it again!

First time we rented a cabin in the Poconos. Enjoyed the rustic atmosphere. Fireplace kept it cozy. The cabin is close enough for day trips to outlets and casino.
We had a great time leaf peeping too! Nice autumn getaway! Thank you!

Yes,the property is away from the sight of traffic. But not the sounds of it. I also agree with the previous guest before me. The place is getting older and worn. Pieces of furniture were not in the greatest of shape. Upon arrival the stand alone A/C unit was on but the exhaust hose was not attached to the back and was blowing hot air back into the room. I had to fix it. One of the kitchenette door hinges was falling off. A few cob webs on lights led me to believe the cleaning is hit and miss and only made presentable to the next renter. The next morning the dog and I were out front watching the chipmunk. As I turned to head back in I saw a black bear within 20 feet of us. Yes 20 feet. We made it back inside only to watch him knock over the grill and head to the next cabin. He hung out a bit and left. I wound up repairing the grill myself as I needed it for my dinner. I’d like to see the bear added to the listing comments for future travelers staying here. There is a “loft” that has what looks to be two beds above the main bedroom. It is not accessible because the stair/ladder is missing. So it’s waisted space. Would be nice to make it available. The grounds are nice except for those previously there who were smokers. Every now and then you would see cigarette butts on your walkabouts. I can’t blame that on the owner except that it could be mentioned to not litter the grounds. Exceptional places deserve returning to. This was a little more then OK!

We enjoyed the cabin's location- very peaceful and scenic. We had a great time hiking on trails nearby.
The downside was the condition of the cabin. Just needs some love and attention- cobwebs, animal droppings and dirt on the front porch, broken chair in the living room, lamps not working or missing lightbulbs, no access to the loft (missing ladder?). Coffeepot needs to be replaced. Noting that we couldn't do without, or find a work around, but not what we have come to expect from a VRBO listing.

Cozy comfort
The cabin was beautiful. We stayed in the smaller cabin next to the loft cabin which was ok for us because it was only 2 of us. The other people got there earlier than us and maybe grabbed the wrong cabin but we were perfectly happy with what we had. Very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the porch swing at night was very nice and romantic. We were only 15 minutes from wineries and vineyards which we spent a day visiting. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

Special memories were made here!
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and was exactly what we needed over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were in the middle of renovating our floors when our new Marine came home from boot camp. We weren't expecting to have him through Thanksgiving and I needed to find somewhere to spend our special meal. This "somewhere" was this cabin. The smell of the pine was wonderful as were the owners! It had enough space for all three of us and the fireplace and outdoor firepit made for some great R&R. Though I gave it a 5 star rating one thing you have to consider if you stay here is that the cooking has to be done outdoors. Yes, it's possible to make use of the electrical appliances (microwave, hot plate) but you have to plan ahead and bring exactly what you need to make it successful. Because I planned ahead, I was able to cook our entire Thanksgiving meal outdoors on the grill and it was delicious. The following day I was not as successful with indoor cooking and opted to go out for breakfast on our way home. That being said, food options and stores are a short drive away. I highly recommend this beautiful place to make memories of your own!

Loved the cabin! There is a second cabin very close by which would be great for a two family group, but is not ideal for the romantic getaway.

A little relaxation and fun
Amazing cabin...just great. Four of us stayed for 2 days. There was nothing amiss. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit...some wine and cheese and great weather. As the worlds greatest dog lover ( or at least among the greatest) I was pleasantly surprised by a few visits from Millie, the owners very friendly Scottie. One day she came with a "friend dog" who was equally as sweet but remained annonomous. You can't go wrong here...very nice!
