About this house rental

Our near new modernTownhouse is perfect for guests either on a stopover or those wanting a longer stay. Upstairs houses the master bedroom with Kingsize bed, ensuite and walk in wardrobe, second bedroom has a queen bed, and third bedroom has twin beds. The second family bathroom includes a bath, tiled shower and toilet. Downstairs is the fully equipped modern kitchen and open plan dining and living area and a separate toilet. The separate laundry has a Washing Machine, Dryer and Tub. A portable cot and highchair available on request. No charge for children 5 and under. There is a single garage and off street parking.
The location couldnt be better. The townhouse is a 2 minute walk from Petone's popular and vibrant Jackson street where there are multiiple shops, cafes, bars and restaurants offering nearly every variety of cuisine. Petone Beach and the unique Lighthouse Cinema are less than a 5 minute walk. Multiple Bus Stops are nearby and it's a 12 minute walk to the Train Station which will take to Wellington CBD or Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt and the Wairapa in the other direction. Two large supermarkets and the Big Box Stores are all very handy and situated at the lower end of Jackson Street.

We all live in Wgtn, but spend a weekend in Petone every year. This property is perfect for a weekend away. This is the 2nd weekend we have had at this property and we have enjoyed it very much.

We loved this VRBO. It is better than in the photos. Perfect location to take the train into Wellington. Beautifully furnished, high end linens, and the owner has thought of everything you may need for your stay. We appreciated actually connecting with the owner in person to chat about the area and get house instructions etc. It is deserving of MORE than 5 stars. Perfection in our books.

House was beautiful, we all enjoyed the stay. Only downside was the shower instantly filled with water due to poor drainage and were all too scared to use as warned about electrical surging, and the lights from building in car park next door lit the room up at night. We all loved everything about the house though and had a fabulous time, beds comfortable and great communication. Need to sort shower out so can be used normally though. Would defo stay again

On a 1 month road trip this is the best place we stayed in. It was absolutely perfect. Close to the city in a charming suburb we enjoyed the calm and the privacy of this house. Nothing was missing to make our stay pleasant. We would definitely recommend this warm house. A luxury retreat.

The family were over visiting our relatives & friends in the Wellington / Lower Hutt area. We spent 17 nights at Joana’s lovely 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath place just off the Jackson St. shops, bars and restaurants in the heart of Petone. Recently updated and modern place with all the mod cons. Great heating (it was Winter in NZ). On-site parking. Laundry & dryer. Lovely sunny, well lit place. Joana is a fantastic host and was very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely look to stay here when we come out next time. 😎

It all looks as presented on the website. But much better. The area is ok. Close to Jackson Street with restaurants and shops. It’s a bit of a drive downtown but it suited out purposes working in Upper Hut perfectly. Great host that gave the stay a silver lining.

This property is very well appointed, super clean and in a great location. Joanna is a perfect host and meet us on checkin. Very good restaurants in walking distance and a short drive to Wellington CBD. Definitely a place to stay when visiting Wellington.

Beautiful townhouse close to everything in Petone. Great parking, full amenities and nicely styled. Feels like a home away from home. Great for families who need a full kitchen, laundry facilities and separate bathroom with bath. We have stayed before and will stay again when we are in Wellington.

Perfect in Petone

We could not have wished for more in this beautiful town house. Seeing my 40 year old daughter doing a happy dance when she realised there was underfloor heating in the bathroom made my weekend. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. We were absolutely delighted. It was quite difficult to find accommodation for 4 adults who did not want to share a bed. This suited us very well and we would all be very happy to stay again.
