Room backed to a busy street that was very noisy.
2.0
The beds were comfortable.
I booked a ‘superior suite’ which does not exist. There is no reception or security. They originally put us in a room with a small double bed and no room to walk or put your stuff. Then moved us to a bigger room with no bathroom. It felt like we were in a hostel. There were drunk people swimming in the pool until after 4 in the morning. You can hear every sound in the place. Every guest was disappointed and unhappy with the place. Your website does not have the correct information.

The breakfast is a lovely bonus that makes for that extra chill morning before the beach. I really like that mostly Mexicans stay here. The value surpasses the price. It is simple yet tasteful and clean and the pool is wonderful to hang out beside or cool down in. There are lovely shade trees within the courtyard that add ambiance. There is a good coffee shop and a grocery store within a 1 minute walk. Jorge, the manager is great at his job!
I really wouldn't change anything. It's not a "fancy hotel" so don't stay here if you are looking for the fancy hotel experience. The bikes they offer for free may require some maintenance... :)

the Pool needs to be cleaned

The check in process was easy, you'll get a message on booking.com with a code for your door. Don't need to speak to anybody!
The pool had loads of leaves in it, looked a bit mucky. Just needs a regular clean-out. Otherwise everything was spotless.

I had the best room in the place with its own bathroom inside. I loved the pool area just outside my room. It was relaxing and lovely to sit around. There was free water. You could use the kitchen but they put everything utensil wise away after the breakfast so you had to dig through boxes for the pans etc. if you wanted to cook. The coffee at breakfast was great. I also enjoyed all the colourful octopus paintings on the walls around the pool area, very well done. Also the greenery around the pool was lovely. I enjoyed the walk to the beach it was great ever changing entertainment along the town strip. It’s a great town. I truly enjoyed San Pancho and this hotel. It is very close to the bus area.
The eggs at breakfast were terrible, no one and I mean no one liked the way they were made. The waffles were good enough but you can only have one. The coffee was excellent and plentiful. The code, lock box at the front door was a problem. They should give keys to all the guests once they arrive so they do not have to constantly dial in the front door. If you forget a flashlight or cell phone light at night you will not get inside. There is no reception and no staff after 3:00 pm or so.

It was private & not to big.
There was no access upon arrival. We had to wait until one of the guests came by to follow him in. The entrance was from a door in the parking lot which was very dark. The host did not meet us upon arrival. We had to ask other guests that were staying there, who or how do we get access to our room.
When we got access to our room, we had a broken chair in the corner & no shelves nor storage space for our clothing/suitcases. All while our stay Feb 1-6th we had no hot water! The breakfast that was served each morning was very little & consisted of equivalent to 1 scrambled egg or next day we were given 2 cold eggo waffles.
The pool appeared dirty after a couple of days.
We never did meet the host.
Throughout our stay, we were asked from other guests how to gain access to their rooms & or how to reach the host. No information was provided to us from this host.
We wouldn’t refer anyone to stay at this place.

The staff were kind. Coffee was good in the mornings. Wifi was strong.
The included breakfast was a banana and coffee and some scrambled eggs or a cold waffle.
Beds were uncomfortable.
The pool was pretty dirty.
The showers were not hot at all and had terrible pressure.
The place basically felt like a hostel but with hotel prices.
Rooms were clean but aircons needed cleaning.
Shampoo offered was a little 2x1 sachet.

Pool was okay, nice courtyard.
No hot water and water stopped working completely for a whole night once. Staff hard to reach/not around much and lied about water problem. Stingey with towels.

The breakfast was ok and included coffee. There are some comfortable places to sit outside and read, however the location is quite far from the beach
There was basically no real reception area or anyone to speak to. The room had a sewer smell because of improper plumbing and it was very noisy sometimes until midnight. the bathroom was quite rough for the price of the room.

Pool is nice, relaxing courtyard hangout area. TV music to drown out the LOUD street noise
All day and night street noise.
The included breakfast was a stale (freezer burnt?) toaster waffle and banana and very weak coffee.

I had a great stay at Casa Pancho Playa. The owner and staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. My partner got very sick one day during our stay. Because of this, we needed to book additional nights at the hotel. Instead of having us move to a new room since ours was booked, the owner worked it out where we were able to stay in the same room. The room we were in cost more than the one we would have had to move to, but the owner only charged us for the cheaper accommodation due to how sick my partner was. I would highly recommend Casa Pancho Playa to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, friendly, and zen space to stay.

Stuff is amazing 🤩
They cleaned the rooms and the pool every day.
There is a communal fridge guests can use.
Also, our room was very large.
It's a guest house style, a bit simple for the price.
Also, a bit fat from the rest of the hotels and restaurants and the beach.

felt very secure
there aren’t restrooms to use while you wait for your room, and the rooms could be a little bit cleaner

The Beds were comfortable and the parking and location were good. Ok value for the cost, but it would be nicer to have pay a bit more for something nice.
Most of the time there were no staff around (we had been going for some tips on the area, and needed an extra towel at some point, but no one was around). Bathrooms were not nice, and separate from the rooms. Also, one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because they say the have bicycles for their guests; there were no bicycles.

it was great location, easy checkin, nice amenities. own parking and in general good service
we were the only people in the property, breakfast could be better just investing little more. there were cucarachas which is not pleasant for anybody
6.0
The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size.
The pool was filthy so we couldn't swim in temperatures over 30c! The entire place was totally outdated. The noise level from the street was too loud. There was no regular tea at breakfast. This place could be great if the owners spent some money to fix it up. Very disappointed. Don't be fooled by the beautiful photos on booking.com.

clean cozy and neat
ceiling fan made to much noise and air conditioning was broken, was not able to rest well and it’s a bit far from the beach

This is a really cute property, great location. The family was so sweet.
No one was there to check me in, other folks tried to get into my room and there was lots of construction of the pool For the price, not great.

The room was nice and spacious.
The pictures of breakfast are beautiful but that is not what you get!
