Great staff, comfy bed, good pool (warm) and high level of cleanliness during our 11 day stay.

The young helpful and friendly staff at reception, room cleaning, and pool and garden maintenance were wonderful. Tipped daily 40-50 pesos which seemed to be appreciated. The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, a great sports bar, the beach, grocery store. Yet surprisingly quiet. Felt secure and safe. The cleanliness of housekeeping, pools and grounds were excellent.

The cooktop was a little tricky to operate. The microwave had to be moved to use as the kitchenette is very small. Very minor issues that didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay.

Beautiful pool and a peaceful setting

This is a hidden gem a short distance to all the great places in San Pancho; half block to the main street, half block to a beautiful church and central square, and a block from the beach via a art-filled malecon. The pool was warm and inviting and my dog loved her sunny spot on the balcony so she could watch me swim. Didn't expect to have a kitchen but it came in handy heating up left overs and keeping my beverages cold.

That I had to pay extra for parking. I know it wasn't very much (170 pesos for two days) but still, when you pay top dollar for a room, they could comp the parking!

Hotel de Asis was clean, comfortable, with a great location and friendly, helpful staff.

Location is great - close to beach & restaurants but not too noisy. Pool was just right, never crowded, nice temperature. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Only a few small details: There are no handles on the cupboards below the kitchenette sink, so you have to open them from the bottom; a toaster would be nice; there’s a small gap between the fridge and the cupboard & the floor is dirty in there (hard to get to, I know). Many of the holes in the shower head were plugged by hard water deposits but I was able to easily fix that by scratching each of the rubbery things around the holes. Much better after that. The length of the spigot in the kitchen sink is too long, making it awkward to wash dishes, but not easy to change that, I realize. A small bedside lamp would be nice, as the main lights which are accessible from the bed are very bright and not what you’d choose to settle in to bed. Again - these are all VERY small details & did not affect our enjoyment of the hotel.

I loved the location so close to the beach and restaurants, everything was in walking distance.

My room was clean and had everything I needed. I enjoyed the veranda, the doves in the trees. Arturo was very helpful and I appreciate that he found me a ground floor room for part of my stay.

Too many stairs, however thanks to Arturo for finding me a ground floor room.

Great hotel, close to everything in San Pancho but still quiet at night.

Nice, small hotel, that is well located.

The kitchenette was nice but the faucet was too big for the sink causing water to spill easily. The room and bathroom could use more hooks.

Very good

The location, the swimming pool, easy access to beach, restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly, our room was very clean, late check-in.

Everything was fantastic, but the room we stayed requires a new bed ASAP. After laying out in bed you realize it is old, I could feel the bed springs. It was very noise every time we went to bed and we couldn´t sleep well during our stay; The mattress was very uncomfortable.

Great place to stay in gorgeous San Pancho!

Staff was great: very friendly and accommodating. Kids loved the pool! The pool was clean and perfect temperature. Location was perfect: a couple of blocks from the main beautiful beach -- a five-minute walk to go see the astonishing sunsets. Very close to the main street --where stores and bars are-- but somehow feels quiet and private. There were other families, but the environment was quiet. Great place for families.

Room could've been a bit more clean (little details here and there.) The first night, the extra bed was a little slanted so it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. The second night, the door screen was ripped on one of the corners, so we couldn't keep the door open because of the mosquitos. Still, overall a great place to stay in!

San Pancho worth a visit but hotel too noisy

First impressions, quirky and modern. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Pool looked nice but didn’t use and had added security at night with the main doors closed at night, accessible via a security code. San Pancho is lovely.

We were in a loft room which I thought was very quirky at first with a skylight which is permanently open. Unfortunately, it was noisy and bright from lights around the pool at night and the sun in the morning. Didn’t get any sleep. The bed was large which I love but very uncomfortable, it dipped at one side and every time I rolled over, it creaked. The floorboards in the loft bedroom were like floorboards in a 150 year old house and creaked terribly. You wouldn’t think this was a modern property from the ricketyness of the noise of the floors.

good value for what we needed. all basics covered. pleasant staff.

we were visiting family so needed a place to sleep. beds were comfy, rooms had basic cooking facilities and small frig. cute central pool. all the basics. facility is older and some parts are warn but it is not expensive.

The screen door was ripped so we were worried about mosquitoes. an outside fan helped keep them away. when closed the room became somewhat damp.

Enjoyed the hotel and location, would definitely stay again!

great location close to the beach and main street with all the restaurants. Enough hot water for a full proper shower:) Loved having a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, and a few dishes. Appreciated having both beach and shower towels!

pool was lovely, but the pool and lounge area seem to be in shade most of the day.

Highly Recommended!

Clean, comfortable and close to everything. The staff communicated via WhatsApp and it was easy and seamless! They were SO friendly. We loved our room, the pool, and all amenities. Will absolutely stay here again.
