About this villa rental
Villa Febea is an historic residence dating back to the 1700's, originally a retreat for Cardinals and Bishops, and it continues to be a perfect place for relaxation and also remains a beautiful church from the 1800's on the property which is still consecrated.
Guests of the villa's previous owners included famous names from the world of entertainment such as Federico Fellini, Anna Mazzamauro, Silvia Coscina and Corrado Mantoni.
The villa is reached by an enchanting cypress tree lined drive and is surrounded by 16 hectares of beautiful grounds, which can be explored using a network of wonderful pathways. The grounds are also home to a splendid Etruscan Grotta.
During Villa Febea's restoration I have retained many of its original characteristics, and at the same time with ten years of experience in the hospitality business I have provided all the modern conveniences to offer guests a comfortable and unforgettable holiday.

We booked this group stay well in advance. Both Jacopo and Alice followed up with responses rapidly to questions. They even began a group chat via Whatsapp. All prearranged meals and requests were met. Alice created us at the Villa upon arrival. She welcomed us then gave us a tour and instructions about the property. She provided us with information about local grocers and markets, restaurant suggestions, as well as, nearby towns/wineries to visit. She even arranged a last minute wine tour/tasting.
The Villa was clean with and modern amenities. It's a beautiful property and exceeded our expectations. There were ten guest in our group and there was far more space than we could occupy. There was ample parking for vehicles. The grounds are well maintained and pool was very clean. Over all we just couldn't have asked for a better location, Villa or experience. Towns like Montepulciano, Pienza, and Siena are all within driving distance. Thank you Jacopo and Alice for providing us with a fantastic 60th Birthday experience.

My wife and I and our friends stayed at Villa Febea for seven wonderful nights. EXCELLENT communication with property manager Alice, and lots of options to make the stay more fun. We had a delicious Traditional Tuscan Dinner on our arrival day, and a delightful Cooking Class on our last night. The villa is very spacious, and it's on a huge property. (We saw foxes and deer.) Chiusi turned out to be a terrific base for day trips all over Tuscany and Umbria. If you are considering a stay in a Tuscan villa, do not hesitate to book Villa Febea!

Our group of 15 - 8 adults and 7 children ages 7-16 - loved every minute of our stay. The Villa was beautiful and perfectly placed on a hillside above olive groves in the midst of the picture book Val d'Orcia region.
The rooms were spacious and lovely with beautiful historic furnishings and decor. But the bathrooms and kitchen were modern and beautiful. Our kids' favorite part was the pool. It was a lifesaver in the midst of the summer heat and provided hours of enjoyment, as did the ping pong table - an unexpected treat.
There were many spaces to gather and dine which was helpful with our large group. And the first floor bedroom with handicap accessible bathroom made the stay very easy for the matriarch and patriarch of our family.
The owner and manager were delightful, welcoming us and making us feel at home, arranging for a cooking class, securing a birthday cake (exceptionally delicious!), making recommendations for trips and restaurants, providing transportation when needed... they were so helpful with anything and everything we needed during our stay.
We would highly recommend this villa and hope to stay again soon. If you have the pleasure, be sure to book the breakfast - delicious, and the cooking class. You will be so glad you did!

This villa was so beautiful and working with Alice was wonderful. She is so warm and welcoming. Having meals in the Villa was an incredible way to feed our large group and all we met were so kind and lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Febea -- the villa allowed for two families (8 adults) to each select a comfortable bedroom/bath, and everyone was able to recharge during a fast-paced ten day trip. The grounds are exquisite and beautifully maintained. And we were so well taken care of by the amazing Alice and host, Jacopo. We hope to return in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Excellent, easy communication with Alice and Jacopo. Our group loved the large bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, and fully stocked kitchen. The grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend!

A group of us eight friends spent a week at the Villa. It was run professionally and I always had immediate response from the owner. He set up transportation and dinners for our large group. Everything went smoothly and it is a perfect location to visit all the small towns in southern Tuscany. I highly recommend Jacopo and his villas.

Fabulous property with amenities like home! Easy cooking, washer & dryer, extra cost for AC if desired when temperatures too hot to bear, and an owner who responds ASAP if needed. In summary, an amazing Villa to enjoy time “under the Tuscan Sun.”

Perfect week in Tuscany
From our arrival to the tree lined driveway leading up to the villa, to our departure, we enjoyed every day at the Villa Febea. We were only 10 people, but Jacopo graciously allowed our four friends to join us for one night. The photos on the site are very accurate. Everyone commented on the fabulous water pressure even when multiple people were taking showers! The pool was a gift from heaven given that the temperature during the week was in the 90s. It really was a perfect location to explore all that Tuscany and Umbria have to offer. The only thing we wished were different would be if we could have been within walking distance to a small village so our teenage children could have been able to explore a bit on their own. It truly was the perfect place for a family gathering and we would not hesitate to recommend it for others looking for such an experience.
By the way, we booked the Welcome Dinner and the Cooking Class with Dinner. They were both fabulous and everyone enjoyed both!!

Nice holidays in the villa Febra
Our family spent a week in oktober 2019 in the villa and had a lot of fun together. We all liked the villa very much. The bedrooms with the bathroom were nicely furnished. In the large kitchen we could cook together an conjure up great dishes. One little remark: For the large house one oven is not enough. The pool had to be heated, but invited us to go swimming at night. Many thanks to the gardener, who has been restrained the pool every day.

Perfect Getaway
This villa was perfect for our family vacation. Conveniently located between Florence and Rome, near a train station and the town of Chiusi, day trips were fun and accessible. The villa itself is well thought out with space for all, room to roam and explore, a pool, BBQ, and private chapel in walking distance. The Autostrada is very close and accessible. This truly was the perfect place for us

Our group of 11 adults stayed at Villa Febea in May 2019.
The villa is beautiful, and the grounds and facilities really did exceed our expectations.
All the bedrooms were spacious and all had an en-suite bathroom, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everyone in the group was happy with their room.
The large pool is lovely. Very clean and well maintained, with plenty of seating and sun loungers.
Because the kitchen is very spacious and well-equipped, we cooked most of our evening meals at home. A couple of nights we ate at local restaurants, which were also very good.
We pre-booked a pasta making class for the whole group in the villa, which was enjoyed by everyone.
The countryside around the villa is stunning, and the villa is well positioned for day-trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano etc.
The service from Jacopo and Alice was excellent. All questions were answered promptly, both before and during our stay.
We highly recommend Jacopo and Villa Febea, and we don’t hesitate to give this villa 5 stars.

We picked this villa to accommodate 16 family members and friends and wanted to experience the Tuscan/Umbria areas. From the start, Jacopo (Yacopo), owner, was attentive in answering all of our questions. The Villa has a heated pool and chapel on site. The entire property is lovely, clean, and spacious. The surrounding grounds are manicured; there are trails to hike; every morning a concerto of birds singing, and the location was perfect to visit Siena, Florence, the wine areas, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Civita, etc... It was magical to say the least. In regard to safety, the area is surrounded by a gated fence. We felt very relaxed to keep the doors open as my son was sleeping in an outside casita near the pool area. We ordered daily breakfast which was well worth the cost and a traditional dinner cooked for us when we arrived that evening. It was delicious as we sampled Tuscan cooking. We also experienced a cooking class and learned how to cook the custom foods of the area. The washer and dryer were a plus and knowing you have clean clothes for the following week was not a stressor. The town of Chiusi (Qu-see) was filled with restaurants, banks, and a national museum. Read up on Etruscan history. There are rich remnants around the Villa and area.
We were all genuinely happy with the service and accommodations. Our best vacation ever! Thanks Jacopo and staff for making wonderful memories for our family and friends.

Tuscan Dream Vacation
A year of arranging a Tuscan getaway with eleven friends and family finally came true this September. We choose this stunning newly restored 18th century Villa. Everyone was thrilled with the choice and all felt pretty spoiled and special in this luxurious setting.
Some of our group had never met before and we had great fun enjoying our 2 arranged dinners that we had booked before arriving. The Welcome dinner when we arrived allowed us to relax, unpack, explore and enjoy meeting everyone as they arrived. The dinner itself was amazing and we had so much fun. We also enjoyed a Tuscan dinner midweek, the food was all prepared fresh that day and were classic Tuscan dishes. So much food, you will not be disappointed.
During the rest of the week we ate at some of the close local restaurants, but mostly we all enjoyed cooking in the huge kitchen and the outdoor BBQ. There was never an issue of space in the kitchen. There were also so many different seating areas inside and outside the Villa that you could choose to eat or relax. Enjoying morning coffee out by the pool or on the balcony with the incredible views was a great way to start the day.
We all loved infinity swimming pool. There were lounge chairs for everyone and you could sit in the sun or shade of the trees or an umbrella.
The villa sits on a hill with views of countryside and hilltop Tuscan towns that can be seen when walking the property. We enjoyed that we could walk through the grounds along vineyards and olive groves to the closest town of Chuisi (about 30 mins). The extensive grounds were immersed in nature, allowing us to explore for hours without even leaving the property!
We had 3 vehicles and groups would head off each morning to tour many of the close historic towns during the week. We would all compare and recommend our adventures in the evening as we had our wine in the evening. If you had forgot to buy you wine, no problem the Villa has it’s own wine which can be purchased as needed. A great convenience!
We loved our stay at Villa Febea and the host and owner Jacopo made it really special. I think all of us want to return, possibly with a new group of friends and family to share it with. Can’t recommend this Villa enough!!
Thank you Jacopo!

Spectacular Villa and Vacation
This was our second vacation at one of Jacopo Baiocco Villas. We first visited Podere Baiocco two years ago and could not wait to return. When we heard of his new Villa Febea that he was restoring we jumped at the chance to stay!
The villa and grounds were impeccably kept and very private. Driving up the Italian cypress tree lined driveway added to the anticipation of seeing the incredible classic Italian villa as we rounded the corner. This 18th century villa was beautifully restored and upgraded by the owner, who put great care and thought into each stage of the renovations. The villa has all the modern conveniences, while keeping the elegance and history of the original design. The character of this unique property is polished off with beautiful touches like the old stone well, grottos, well worn lighted paths and ancient pines and cedars.
The infinity swimming pool was a highlight. There was night lighting that allowed you to enjoy the pool in the evening. There are many lounge chairs, and lots of secluded and shaded seating areas as well as an outdoor shower. Although the weather was abnormally cool for September, we were pleased at the option to pay the extra cost of heating the pool for our stay - so we could enjoy the beautiful pool all week long!
In the villa itself, each of the rooms has it's own en-suite with fantastic water pressure and hot water. The accommodation was fully equipped with modern cooking facilities, washing machine, dishwasher and all the necessities. There was a number of supermarkets within a 10 minute drive.
There is even a beautiful tiny church that is part of the estate. It is steeped in history and would make an incredible destination wedding.
We enjoyed the Welcome dinner on the day we arrived and the Tuscan dinner during the week, and would recommend both! The food was wonderful and abundant (as was the wine).
The location was also perfect for trips to some of the most beautiful and historic towns in Italy- Siena, Pienza, Assisi, Montalcino Citta delle Pieve, and much more. These are all easy day trips from the Villa with plenty of time to get back and relax at the pool at the end of the day.
The owner and host Jacopo did not disappoint. The restoration, planning and thought put into Villa Febea was remarkable.
I would highly recommend Villa Febea or either of Jacopo's other 2 villa's listed at baioccovillas.it depending on the size of your group.

Perfect setting for a picturesque Tuscan holiday!
From the moment you drive through the gates and up the cypress tree lined drive way to this beautiful and expansive villa you will never want to leave! With the perfect location, villa, grounds and owner, there is no better place for a picturesque Tuscan holiday.
The villa is perfectly located for exploring both the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside, as well as being conveniently located only a few minutes from the A1 and the Chiusi train station. We were able to comfortably make day trips to Citta della Pieve, Chiusi, Assisi, Orvieto, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena, and more!
The villa and the grounds are luxurious yet comfortable. The villa itself features a large, fully equipped kitchen, spacious dinning and seating areas, as well as elegant rooms, each its own private on-suite. The expansive grounds around the villa are also immaculately kept, with lots of space for our group to be together and to spread out, as there are tons of different seating areas and expansive paths to explore. The large Infinity pool with beautiful views was an obvious favorite among the whole group, with no better way to spend an afternoon (or entire day) than swimming in a beautiful pool under the Tuscan sun! Another important feature was the villas fantastic Wifi -better than I have experienced in any other accommodation in Italy, accessible from every room and even from around the pool!
The owner of the villa, Jacopo, is intensely kind and warm, willing to answer any questions you have about the villa or recommendations for your trip at any point, from your first inquiry through your entire vacation.
We also opted for both the Welcome and Tuscan dinners, which were both absolutely amazing and a must have while staying a the villa. Further, Jacopo was happy to accommodate our groups dietary restrictions, and even made an exceptional vegan tiramisu for us four vegans staying at the villa!
I cannot recommend Villa Febea (and Jacopo) enough, this villa has exceeded our entire groups (already high) expectations and I know we will quickly return!!

we spent a week in august in the Villa Febea. The house is beautiful...just renovated. The bedrooms are specious and well decorated in a toscan style. Confortables beds and each room has her own bathroom.
The kitchen is wide and has everything you can need.
Around the house, a huge park with gorgeous trees ...or landscapes of olive trees ...where you can have nice walks...listening to the birds..
The pool is just perfect...around ...the loungers are waiting for you..
Some others places to sit down are located in the park....
Everything is done in the villa febea to make your stay perfect....
Jacopo is a perfect host...so kind with us and so reactiv when we need some informations...
So are his wife and Angela...who welcome us...
At the moment the gate of the villa will open....and you will take the little road that take you to the villa..up the hill...you will feel that the Tuscan way of life is starting for you...
Thanks for all Jacopo!! You make that place the perfect place to relax and discover Tuscany!

Amazing, lovingly restored villa that made a special holiday for us all to remember.
The owner of Villa Febea (Jacopo) was always willing to help, from the first moment we contacted him when arranging our holiday to the very end of what was to be a fantastic holiday. We were a group of 3 children (1, 7 and 9 years) and 7 adults from 33-79 years. The villa was more than able to allow us all to spend time together comfortably and large enough to enjoy quite times walking in the lovely expansive grounds or finding a seating area to read.
We have stayed in a few villas in The Tuscany/Umbrian region and all of us concluded that Villa Febea was in the best location to allow you to visit many areas of Umbria and Tuscany with ease being within 5 minutes away from the main road between Florence and Rome.
Throughout our stay Jacopo was always on hand to offer help and advice which made our stay a real pleasure. Villa Febea has been lovingly restored over a period of 2 years by Jacopo to retain as much character as possible and his attention to detail provides exceptional quality. Jacopo and his staff were all very friendly when we saw them around the villa and they all took pride in their work to keep Villa Febea always looking its best.
The facilities at the villa were amazing, their is everything you could want and we made good use of the kitchen equipment and BBQ preparaing for the many meals we enjoyed outside on the paved areas close to the villa throughout the day and night. The air conditioning throughout the villa made sleeping at night much more bearable given the exceptional high temperatures we experienced during our stay.
The newly installed infinity swimming pool was enjoyed by all every day (and even some evenings) of the holiday to cool off from the hot Tuscan weather we enjoyed during our stay (35-40 degrees during the heatwave during our first week). The many sun loungers, chairs and parasols made sitting by the pool and admiring the views from the villa relaxing.
Villa Febea is an amazing place and we all can not compliment Jacopo and his team enough for making this a holiday to remember and would like to wish them all the very best for the future. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Febea and hope one day to return to enjoy it again.
Thank you Jacopo for making a really special holiday.

A wonderful time was had by all at Villa Febea
Myself and my family (12 people in all) enjoyed a wonderful couple of weeks at Villa Febea. The villa is quite palatial in its scale with beautiful high ceilings, marble stair case and all respectfully renovated to maintain its traditional, Tuscan architecture. Every part of the villa
from the interior, the exterior, the infinity pool and the 40 acres of grounds are simply beautiful. There are options for dining both inside and outside (depending on the intensity of the sun!) and various locations around the villa to have breakfast in ether sun or shade. Jacopo was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of our holiday and is clearly very passionate about ensuring his guests are very happy with every aspect of their stay. We would all confidently recommend a holiday at Villa Fabea to anyone.

This place is a real dream.
I had a wonderful time. This delightful Tuscan villa, so tastefully and carefully restored by its owner is truly in the ideal spot to explore Tuscan and Umbrian villages and towns. That is if you can make it out of the villa! Its huge park is truly wonderful and the infinity pool an absolute dream. The villa has all the comforts I could have hoped for.
I can't recommend this place enough.

Fairy tale Villa, Excellent Location
I had the opportunity to visit Villa Febea during its restoration in summer 2016, and even under construction the villa and its grounds prove to be something out of a fairy tale. The property is entered through a grand, cypress tree lined laneway which opens up to the villa and park. It is filled with Tuscan character and charm including a wonderful network of paths, Etruscan grotto, quaint church, infinity pool (now under construction), and the list goes on. The villa itself is also stunning with intricate ceilings and beautiful spaces, it provides the perfect space for friends and family to come together. The property also acts as a great base for exploring the region, perfectly situated, it is just a few minutes drive from the train station in Chiusi, making day trips to any of Tuscany’s town, cities, vineyards etc., simple and enjoyable. In addition to visiting Villa Febea, I also have had the pleasure of staying at another villa that Jacopo owns and manages and can say the care and devotion he carries for his properties and guests is unmatched. He provides fantastic services, is quick to answer questions, helpful in providing advice and recommendations, and works extremely hard to keep a clean and well maintained villa. Overall, Villa Febea is a little piece of paradise in southern Tuscany and will provide the perfect backdrop for a fabulous vacation.
