Location of this hotel is perfect. The garden area is stunning at night except myriad mosquitoes. Room was spacious and comfortable.
The one evening meal I had was really not up to standard. The chicken and beef were dry and the prawns were almost non existent. I also had to send back a draught beer which tasted bad. It seems they hadn't flushed out the system properly. I am sure they can do better. For the price one would expect some tissues in the room.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff also went above and beyond for us the chef as well as Moses from the front desk.

Breakfast, location, vibe of the hotel
The room had a sewage smell, there was one old looking faded white towel for use when we were 2 guests. Little soap, no bedroom slippers, robe. The face towel was also old, worn out and discolored considering it was white. The pillows were uncomfortable and flat. It was a stressful experience

The room is big with a comfortable bed. The internet connection had some issues while I was there, but overall it was ok. The pool is very nice, and the breakfast overseeing the pool and green lush garden is great. Staff were very friendly, and the location was ideal.

During check-in we had to pay directly our stay. The first card machine didn't work properly they said and came with a 2nd card machine. The next morning we saw at our bank account dat the hotel charged twice the entire travel sum instead of 1 time (our stay was € 400)! We went directly to the reception to discuss this. The reception said that they would arrange this. Nothing happened so the next day we went again to the reception, same story, still not settled. During checkout we mentioned again that they charged us 2 times our stay. They promised to contact their bank directly and to arrange the refund. Well, nothing happened. In the mean time it's already more than a month ago and still we haven't had our money back. Booking.com contacted the hotel but they keep seeking excuses not to pay back. What a bad hotel and bad service!

Breakfast was very nice. Always lots of choices. The staff in the restaurant were very polite and helpful,
Checking out experience could have been better. I booked via booking.com and the receptionist made it clear to me and everyone else in reception that I did so therefore I was not entitled to the airport transfer. Even though I booked for 10 nights and came with a group who had booked many rooms for a wedding. I was told that I should have booked direct. Anyway I paid GHS 168 for the transfer back to the airport on 10th April 2023

Breakfast was excellent
I didn't have the room of my choice. Hotel fully booked. I was given an alternative room which was excellent but without kitchen which I turned down because I paid for executive room. Owner of hotel made it up to me. In the end I became very happy.

We stayed in the executive suite and it was VERY comfortable and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. The shower was really refreshing with great water pressure and nice and hot.

Nice rooms, especially compared to others we've stayed in.
Had a pool which was small but clean.
Staff outside were amazing- so attentive.
I've been to Ghana 13 times and stayed in many different hotels. These expensive hotels always feel more corporate, less friendly etc.
This is the only hotel ever to try and charge us a 'day rate' (half the cost of the room) to stay a few hours after check out. I've stayed in hotels that were £20 a night or less who happily [and kindly) let us stay longer for free.
Food in the hotel is also crazy expensive!! Of course, you pay more in a fancy hotel but you can get a decent meal for less than £1 GBP in Ghana and yet this place can charge 20 x the price.

This hotel is a gem in Osu, it feels like an oasis literally. The grounds are well manicured and inviting, the decor is green, lush and inviting. The rooms are eclectic with personal African touches. The food was phenomenal
offering a mix of some Ghanian dishes and intercontinental foods. However, what made me fall in love with this resort was the attention to details that the staff showed us, Daniel our driver, took us back to the airport twice due to our luggage being lost. The ladies at the front, Tracy, Gloria, Deborah and Philomena was welcoming, friendly, understanding and assisted us with helpful knowledge with getting around Osu. I would absolutely recommend everyone to stay at this boutique hotel, if you are looking for intimate touches with attention to details then this is the place for you, right in the heart of the city, accessible to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and nightlife.

There is so much I could write about "La Villa" - the place is a quiet, green Oasis in Accra's "hectical moments" - you come into the hotel and are immediately surrounded by a soothing calm - the small "corridors" between the buildings increase the homely atmosphere even more - the rooms are quiet, distinctive and pleasant - the bathrooms are a good size - the staff is absolutely polite, courteous and helpful - the service is fast and good - the kitchen and the restaurant is of very good quality (even if the menu unfortunately only offers mostly European/American dishes - I missed the delicious dishes that the Ghanaian kitchen can offer - but that's now only my personal opinion) - the breakfast is very good with an extremely good buffet and a wide selection - the weekly cinema evenings by the pool are fun (especially when the big bats chase low over the pool in front of the screen and scare the guests) - the Room and laundry service are excellent - what more could you wish for a successful, relaxing and happy stay (Moses, Desmond, Charles, Issaka and all the others - you guys are great!)
There is nothing that comes to my mind - okay - but, this is also only a personal opinion - the Pool is definitely too small to call itself a Pool - but, being nearly 6.9feet tall, a small pool always has a hard stand when it comes to me

Nice garden and Hotel is close to Pomona Restaurant (walking distance) which offers a good lunch or dinner
No news channels on the tv - that is not to international business standards . Also the art seller in the Hotel is sometimes annoying
