Comfortable beds, beautiful site and a great peaceful and natural location. What really made this stay for us was the staff. My boyfriend (stupidly) left food in our room all day and lots of ants got in. We went to reception to ask if they had any spray we could use (of course we did not expect them to solve this), the staff not only came to our room to help us but they offered us to move rooms and gave us an upgrade as our booked room wasn’t available. They did not need to do this at all as they weren’t at fault, but it just shows they really care about guests. Amazing place.
No complaints at all

We love this place as a base..ideally located and great value for money...

good for a short stay
room was basic but clean and had everything we needed (bed, fan, bathroom etc.) you get what you pay for
pool is lovely
had bikes for hire, shop nearby too.
bit far from Ao nang beach and getting transport can be tricky if you don’t want to use bikes.
rooms do get very warm, apparently there are rooms with air-con but this wasn’t offered or advertised anywhere so we were unsure.
be careful what food you bring into the bungalow and where you put it as ants will come after it, best to keep the bin outside.

A good spot for people wanting to be close to ao nang or railay without going into the more crowded spots. A cool little hut.

Localita Is the best ! Its next to the Muay thai center , but Its really peacefull place! 10mim by bike from ao nang beach and les than 5min by bike from the center ! The place looks like heaven ! Yeah it was the small problem with the sink, but when you choose a bamboo house you can't expecting that Will be same as 5stars hotel. But for me it feel like 10stars. Everybody there is so friendly !!! Woman there speak english very Well! If you need something like toalette paper ask to guy in the reception. He Is there until 22.00 (sometimes longer :D ) .He Is not so good in english but he Is trying his best also with translator. Room was amazing !! They Are cleaning pool every day!!
Thank you so much !!

I didn't like the staff very much.

Everything was okay except for the beds. It was uncomfortable and we got 1 too small blanket. There was only a fan which didn't cool the room down, so it was really hot in the room. The bathroom was great and wehad a nice balcony. The pool is really nice.
The staff is so nice and helpful. And the location is really peaceful.
The bedroom was way too hot and it didn't cool down.

Everything was good, but if you like more privacy I'd choose somewhere else. It's friendly and family friendly. I have a scooter, this place isn't walking distance to the beach.
I was afraid my morning toilet routine could be heard by the neighbor!!! But hey, that's traveling...

It was a cozy place and the temperature of the swimming pool was perfect. I liked the vibe. Everything was in bamboo.
Location not ideal, but with a scooter you can get anywhere. Bed was quite hard.

Beautiful location which was quiet and peaceful.
Nice space and pool.
Small hole in bathroom floor let in a cockroach but there was nets to prevent this happening. All in all to be expected.

I asked for a bungalow away from any noise and they put me right next to the pool pump :) I didn't mind as long as I can't hear what other people are speaking about in their bungalows.
It was a cute small space.
Hmmm.....
Not enough room for our suitcases so I had to leave mine outside on the porch.

The huts are very cute and the mountain view is nice. They have bike rental service.
Bamboo walls are very thin so sometimes you could hear next door's conversations as if you were with them in the cabin.

No kitchen, I arrived at 8h30 pm, nobody in reception. Should to call. The first 7 eleven is at 15 mn by walking, may be more. I rented a motorbike there, they told me 250 baht. I give them 300 baht. When the renter come take it back the motorbike. I ask him my money back and he told me it's 300 baht. Shame.
Ps: The neighbors just beside is school of Thai boxing. Early morning, you wake up because you hear them training.
Run away.

The bamboo house is simple but cozy. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and quiet area will make your stay pleasant there. The location is a bit off the center, so you definitely need a motorbike to get to Ao Nang Beach.
It's a bamboo house, so bear in mind that you will hear every noise from outside. If your neighbors like to stay late and talk loudly, you will hear it whether you want it or not. Apart from that everything was great.

The pool is nice.
Nice twenty minutes walk to the shops. - Early morning or late afternoon is best.
Wifi worked okay.
The management really didn't know much English so it was pointless saying much to them.
We intended to stay for up to two weeks but stayed for three days before finding somewhere much better for the same price.
There is no where to hang up anything or shelves in the hut. - Everything has to sit on the floor. - The sink in the shower room leans forward and you can't put anything on it without it falling on the floor.
The toilet moves backwards and forwards when you walk on the bamboo floor.
Doors can't be fastened open or closed... We used pieces of string.
The springs in the mattress poke through the bed.... The sheets and bed covering cause sweating during the night.
Only one power socket in the hut.
No drinking water - Smoking is permitted but very little sign of any fire extinguishers around the place!

Nice bamboo huts with pool
We did not meet anyone from the staff.
The key was handed to us through a friend of an owner i suppose.
When we were leaving we just left a key in the reception hut because again there was no one.

Fan room for the better budget price! Great pool, bonus for us. Clean rooms, community atmosphere, Sophie the host was lovely, helped us hire a bike for our stay, delivered to the resort. We liked the area, quiet and away from crowds.. but a long way out if no transport-expect to get a taxi/tuk tuk/hire a bike.
The only thing I'd like more of is hanging space. After 3 days with nowhere to hang stuff and living out a backpack it was trying. But bearable!
