Breakfast was totally adequate. No restrictions on how much we could eat.
lovely friendly atmosphere.

Everything was very good except the sound of Saniflow toilets being flushed which some me up earlier than I would have liked.
The breakfast items were excellent and Ruth went out especially to provide me with soya, milk and margarine. The room was lovely, cosy and warm.
The only other thing that was a little problematic was finding a parking space for my car.One evening I couldn't find a place on the main road and resorted to parking a right angles to the cottage which was just just possible with my small car but meant it would have been a bit tricky for those cars parked parallel to the cottage to get out.
See above.

A very friendly host.
Our bedroom was freezing over night and I had to put my coat in the bed for extra warmth. The en-suite was tiny with a very low ceiling so my husband could not use the bath or shower.

it was a lovely layout, own bathroom with a bath and shower with toiletries supplied, the room was small but cosy with a key giving privacy and safety, it had a great view of the garden which was accessible to whenever we wanted, the kitchen was amazing with breakfast laid out every morning. also the host went above and beyond to make our stay special and was very welcoming and a joy to talk to.
honestly nothing I didn’t like

Pleasant owner gave a genuine welcome. Breakfast was serve yourself from the owner's kitchen. Variety of drinks, cereals, fruit, bread/toast, spreads. DVDs available. House is very old and full of character. A true English gem in an attractive small town with good places to eat and drink.
Parking had to be found on a nearby street. Macerator plumbing system is noisy but necessary in an old building. No kettle in bedroom, but available in kitchen at all times. Not everyone would like sharing the kitchen and table with other guests, but this is a small B&B so not unusual and the company could be pleasant as it was for us.

Location was fine. No cooked breakfast, but available if requested in advance for an extra charge. Otherwise breakfast(tea/coffee, cereals, bread, jams, marmalade etc) was good. Friendly host.
Lighting in bathroom really quite dim especially over the mirror. Bed, although comfortable, was very creaky!

The old stables is a fantastic period property and Jeff, the host, is a similarly great host. We found all of the shared spaces very clean and welcoming, and the building itself is beautiful! All round it was an amazing stay.

Situated in a quiet area this B&B was amazing our host Jeff was very friendly and extremely welcoming. The room was so homely we had an amazing experience. The property was very clean and set up perfectly. Breakfast was set up for us in the morning. We were given a folder with places to visit and places to eat around the area which was very helpful. Loved the stay and definitely hope to stay there again soon.
Nothing I didn’t like the property was amazing.
