The location was brilliant, the room was lovely and really clean. We ate in the bar/restaurant and the food was amazing and the service was brilliant. We had a room to the front of the hotel and there was a lot of noise from the street from early morning, 6am deliveries to various business, building works etc. I know the hotel can do absolutely nothing to prevent this and is totally out of their control but maybe putting in some noise proof measures would help but otherwise it was great and we would definelty stay again. Loved Kinsale.
Only small complaint was the noise from the street early in the morning but this has nothing to do with the hotel.

Real fast was not included in an over inflated price, toilets not maintained in the evening in the public areas and rude staff

Very nice room, great location, fantastic breakfast
A little noisy late at night, but that is because the hotel is right in the town centre

The people who work there are real people who are allowed to be themselves and cater to their main priority, which is the well-being of their guests. No scripts, no corporate stuff, just genuine ability to listen and be of help. Such a refreshing change. Food also beyond expectations.

room was clean
Rang ahead to advise reception that I would be a late check in as I had travelled down at night, early Christmas week.
When I walked in I was met by what I had initially thought were 3 bar patrons... turns out that they were staff. Instead of being given directions to my room in the hotel - where I had booked myself in, to hopefully avail of facilities, I was escorted back outside, down the road, and into a townhouse at the other end of the street. It was too late to kick off about it but I was not informed that the hotel was at capacity, nor did I receive any explanation as to why I was bundled off.. The following morning, while I was hosting a work event in Kinsale, the same staff, who I had checked out with rang me to ask where the room key was... I handed it in when I checked out, it was unmissable. It wasn't a plastic card but an actual key with a giant wooden 6 x 3 inch plaque attached.

Room was very clean. Location was excellent. Martha and Susan were brilliant.
the first breakfast was appalling. Could not eat it. Susan was very good and could not have been more helpful. Was waiting for 40 minutes for hot breakfast. Response was no one else complained. Kitchen problem big time.

Nothing to fault it

The location was excellent - in the heart of the city. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the bar with live singing. Cocktails were excellent.
Lack of on-site or near parking. Had to drop off luggage in a very small area on the street and parked up the hill in public parking was nice that it was free but inconvenient. However, we understand that you are working within the constraints of lots of cars on the public streets and nowhere to put a parking garage.

Great location, excellent bar and restaurant with live music each night. Comfortable bed and Dyson fan and hairdryer in the room were lovely touches,
The TV was tiny and didn’t work as the signal was so weak, the hotel used to offer Apple TV but we were told by staff that it doesn’t anymore. The shower pressure was very weak so it was difficult to wash one’s hair.

Location was great.
Breakfast service was terrible. Waited an hour for our breakfast. Coffee lukewarm & had trouble getting a second cup. Wait staff never came around after ordering. Had to seek out managerial staff to get coffee & water. Other tables who came after our table of 4 persons received their breakfasts before we did. My husband's eggs were cold too.
