The location and staff plus a very hearty breakfast was surved daily
Noisy underground sound

Väldigt trevlig personal. God frukost och sköna sängar.
Promenadavstånd till flera sevärdheter.
3.4
Location
Fact that breakfast was made on the spot, although English breakfast is not our favourite type of breakfast.
Noise isolation of the rooms, from outside and inside
Smell of the room was not pleasant, seemed as if someone had smoked there before
Shower Cabin was relatively small , made a lot of noise and water temperature regulation was not that easy
3.4
A good breakfast but reached by steep stairs with narrow treads.
The staff were obliging.
The wc/shower was tiny as though on a plane. No room to stand at basin as a step went down to tiny shower area.
A tall person would find it impossible to sit on the toilet unless the door was left open.
The hotel website states the hotel has been refurbished. But the paint work and fittings were chipped and worn
3.4
In a convenient location
Budget accommodation. Wallpaper glued back on wall, ceiling paper dropping in places, main light not working, shower pressure poor or non existent, ltd supply of loo paper, no shampoo, tiny bathroom, queue for breakfast, no lift.
3.4
Five minute walk from Paddington Station. Clean room and freshly cooked breakfast
Older building some things a little creaky.
3.4
Great Room, good facilities, great view, very clean, very comfortable.
Main light in the room didn't work.
3.4
I liked the location
it is really cramped
3.4
Staff were nice, location good near Paddington, stored bags after check out to be picked up later.
Single room was very small, decor a little tired, worse part was that the room rattled when an underground train went past and you could hear the underground trains every 10 to 15 mins. Lack of choice at breakfast unless you wanted a full cooked breakfast which looked good. Also could hear the water gurgling from other rooms running in the drains of the shower.
3.4
very well located, very neat and clean, good breakfast, pleasant staff
having to carry 50kg of luggage up 4 floors of very narrow stairs
3.4
Breakfast was good. Bed clean.
Room was very small and confined. Issue with water temperature in the shower. Door locks were difficult.
3.4
Cooked breakfast in the morning. Hotel close to train station and underground in Paddington. Room comfortable.
Breakfast finishes at 9am. Hotel needs extensive renovation ripped carpets and peeling paint. Was given wrong key and had to change room after one night. Room expensive as was very basic.
3.4
the staff at the front desk were very friendly and the place was in a great location. breakfast is included although we didn’t have breakfast there so cannot comment
the bathroom light didn’t work properly, the room and the bathroom were both very small and the cups in the room were not clean. Our room was up a lot of stairs where the hallway light also didn’t work and they were quite steep. The staff in the mornings would unlock the door and come in without knocking first. The window in our room also didn’t stay open. Not generally picky about where we stay but felt like these were basics that should be met considering the price per night
3.4
Excellent hosts very friendly breakfast good and plentiful clean and tidy
Too many stairs tiny bathroom noisy fan
3.4
Check in staff very welcoming and friendly, room warm and quiet, everything was working well. The full English breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ideal short stay in London.
I could have done with a lift or assistance carrying my case to the 3rd floor as I have had surgery and have pain when carrying too heavy too much. The rooms could do with updating but were fine.
3.4
location was good, staff were fine that’s about all I can say
exceptionally noisy, hotel above the underground running into Paddington, room shakes every time a train approaches ,tiny room , outside ventilator/ heater running very loud every 40 minutes, my room number 17 had the toilet waste pipe running on the ceiling above my bed so every time someone above pulled the flush the noise was not nice. oh and the place is very dated and nothing like the pictures, now old and tired. pic shows sewer pipe above the bed and pic 2 is the socket.
3.4
Breakfast was good and bed was acceptable
The water didn’t come out the tap in the morning. Either sink or shower, so we couldn’t even drink. Couldn’t fit in the shower (I’m 1.85, not that tall). And we went down to say it, the manager was quiet rude. The second day they moved us to another hotel, Albro house, where the staff were all lovely.
3.4
Breakfast was great
Draught under door and difficult to get in shower as room was so small
3.4
staff was nice and breakfast was good
I was in a room downstairs, very small with a tiny bathroom. I found out while being there that the hotel is next to the tube and every time the tube went past, the whole room and window would shake and make a very loud noise. Quite disturbing

Location
Staff were rude
Property was run down
3.4
Lonely cooked breakfast and very friendly staff.
The room was small and no door on the toilet.
3.4
Quiet and comfortable
Tiny room. No lift

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.
I slept in the basement. My room shaken up every couple of minutes by the trains from Paddington. It was only quiet between 2 and 6 in the morning. I had a hard time falling asleep.
They should not rent out the rooms on that floor. I noticed that the disturbance was less on the ground floor and I expect it will be even less on the other floors.
Also not possible to connect to wifi on that floor.
3.4
the owners was lovely and very attentive, good value for money
though you can tell they have cleaned the property it looks old and clearly need upgrading,it is understandable though as the pandemic really hit them hard.
3.4
Great location. Staff was friendly.
Everything else. A lot of very narrow stairs, tiny room, bathroom same size as on an airplane. Breakfast was poor.
Receptionist randomly locked herself into her room while we were there, without even knocking! No good explanation as to why either..
Needs massive renovations.
I've been in London many many times and know for a fact there are much better hotels for the same price in the same area.
Never coming back. Dreaded coming there at night.
3.4
Perfect Location, staff very friendly
Early breakfast slot - but that’s the children’s complaint!
3.4
Mansour is a warm host and incredibly hard working
And also a little bit funny. Nice to meet you Mansour.
The hotel is dated and the rooms incredibly small.
3.4
handy for Heathrow train
short walk from a few tube stations
reception staff were pleasant and helpful
the booking photos on booking.com website very misrepresentative of room and bathroom’s actual appearance and size, rooms are very very small, 2 people unable to walk around the room, bathroom basically a cupboard sized space, at the top of 8 flights of narrow stairs. booking promised a “ view over a beautiful garden “ but we overlooked another apartment block- we were immediately moved to a room with a slightly better view on request.
We have stayed in many areas in London and I feel Paddington is a very overpriced and touristy area because of closeness to Heathrow line.
