Een prima traditioneel hotel, met supervriendelijk personeel. Mooie locatie, vlak bij alle attracties. Kamer en badkamer waren ruim en schoon
Er was niets dat niet beviel

Everything is good. Their service is superb. The stay also includes an onsen pass for all 7 onsens in the town. Absolutely a gem and will visit again.
There wasn’t clear indication on refilling of drinking water (I must caveat that based on my knowledge, water from water tap in the toilet cannot be consumed directly) - that said, their staff immediately gave us drinking water in a jug upon request, thus eliminating the problem!

Beautiful ryokan in an excellent location. The room was beautiful.
I would have appreciated a small/simple breakfast included in the room.

Good location, close to Main Street and many bath houses. The hotel is well kept and loved the flower decorations, it gave off a nice smell of lily. Very traditional ryokan, they know how to serve and make the experience smooth. They provide a basic yukata to all guests. In the lobby there is a varied selection of more unique yukata and obi possible to pick from for free (only Japanese standard size). If u are a taller girl it was only 1 other option except for the regular one (it was still very beautiful). Food was good, it was 5000¥ for both dinner and breakfast (served in the room). Very fresh and tasty, we got very full. The onsen was clean and staff was very attentive and nice. Especially the hardworking young vietnamese girl^^
Some of the showers had a hard time keeping its warm water running and kept switching between cold and warm. Experience this all three days we stayed, in both baths.
Also we experienced an uncomfortable encounter 1 hour before check-out. While we were getting dressed to check out, suddenly one of the cleaning ladies opened the door without knocking or any warning! I was standing in my bra and had to pull my pants up, very uncomfortable! She then proceeded to clean away the futons and left without apologizing..she was not Japanese and did not speak fluent. we ended up telling her that she can not do that and should warn guests before entering. On the other hand she should have waited to clean the room till after we had check-out, it was still 1 hour left.

Wonderful traditional japanese room and very friendly owners. We were welcomed with Tea and provided with all the info we needed. Kois swimming around in a nice little in-yard. Would defintly comeback here again (hopefully) :)

Amazing dinner included, there's so much different food to try and LOTS of food!! There's a lot of staff that work there and they were always available - I believe the owner lives there. You also get an onsen pass so you can visit 7 different onsens while you're there.
English skills among staff was very very limited. Had to use google translate all the time, but for us, that was totally ok!

The food and location were amazing! Would definitely recommend to friends.

Classic ryokan experience! Great base to explore kinosaki onsen.

Friendly staff greeted us warmly when we arrived. Treated us like family. Room was huge and well decorated. Clean facilities and exceptional service. We were escorted to the parking lot by car and also sent us there when we checked out. Warm personal attention given to us. Staff spoke very little English but were patient and understood us (Hint: Google Translate). We will return.
Nothing at all.

The location is good. Just behind main street, so quiet but close to everything. The place really gives some authentic Ryokan vibes. Simple deco and some old house smell.
The bed are futons of course but comfortable.
Host gives you a badge / qr code which gives you unlimited access to all onsens for the time of your stay.
While English was at times difficult quite a few staff members could speak it well and that was very helpful.
The hotel onsen is very decent
The authentic feeling of Ryokan feels a bit gloomy at times and simplicity is a bit pushed. Language barrier probably but the staff at the front desk are really not smiling at all and come out a bit cold.

The very kind staff members were always offering us their help. We had a few special requests. All of them were granted.
We will probably stay here again when we come back to this magnificent Kinosaki Onsen town.

good traditional bath
the “sitting room” was dusty and the springs in the chairs were broken. not good enough for the price.

Boutique ryokan with all necessary facilities. I like their onsen in the morning. Though small but felt very intimate.
Nothing, really. All was really good despite lowering our expectations due to others' reviews.

The ryokan is very well located and easily accessible from the train station. The room is spacious. You have the option to sleep on a futon or use the bed. The facilities are all clean and functional. During the night, it was nice and quiet.
Info: They provide you with the onsen pass and everything for your onsen tour during check-in. If you arrive before check-in, you will need to pay for any onsen seperately and provide your own towels etc. So keep that in mind when planning arrival/departure to the town. Also, a lot of the onsen will only open in the afternoon.

The place is beautiful, people really helpfull (welcome tea, parking etc)
- Renting children yukata while our two bedrooms has been changed for one room only without prior notice
- Sheet beds missing (only 2)

very kind staff and they even helped to park my car in a nearby lot (the roads are very narrow in town). we were provided with yukata and a pass to visit all of Kinosaki’s onsen. lovely stay!
tattoos aren’t permitted in the bath in the ryokan. it was okay though because the 7 main onsen in Kinosaki are tattoo-friendly so I was able to bathe elsewhere

Very friendly personnel. Great place to stay for onsen-meguri
The air con was not efficient enough for the cold January weather, the room was quite cold during the whole stay.

This is our second time to stay here and it was great. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. However, we did not eat here as we were room only and were out and about in the town. We prefer this, so we can eat on our own schedule.
Nothing.
