We were upgraded to be closer to the pool which was nice, diner was exceptional, service good although being wet season staffing levels are lower and it took 10 mins to find someone to check us in. Rooms very tidy, plenty of pool towels. The highlight was sitting outside watching an incredible storm, mostly hundreds of lightening flashes from 9pm onwards.
On arrival there was a group of about 10-11 Indigenous People and their language was appalling as they were drinking in the bar. Their odour was overpowering as well. Staff looked very uncomfortable at their presence in the bar and I had to ask 2 to move off the pool towel basket and they fell off (intoxicated).

The restaurant was fabulous - we came in late and the only offering was the buffet, but the food was great - a good selection, and staff were attentive. The location of this hotel makes it one of the only choices at Kakadu.
The rooms are falling apart - the lights went out, the shower heads broken- the facilities were the bare minimum, which was a real shame as the hotel has such great potential.

Pleasant stay - our room was spacious & comfortable. The staff were helpful & the hotel did well to minimise the impact of the town water supply being disrupted.
If anything the room was a little tired.

The room was spacious, the beds big and comfortable.
Maintenance work in an adjacent room resulted in heavy noise during the day. As compensation a glass of house wine was offered and this is really mean.

Friendly staff in the main especially the ladies in the Dining Room. Room was nice, a good size and comfortable. Also appreciated the selection of reading/information material in the room pertinent to the area.
Bar staff could be more cheerful and probably need more of them

The layout was easy 2 get around, air conditioning worked well & central pool area was great.
I found it hard climbing in & out of bath tub 2 have a shower so a walk-in shower would’ve been better.

Location
Room was over priced and dated. Trading on their location only. Meal was unimpressive.

restaurant was excellent . Hood good & service. Reasonably priced.
Room was not really clean. Behind the entrance door has not been cleaned in months-huge build up of bugs and dust.

Restaurant was terrific, very good food, and the wait staff were excellent.
Jabiru is an absolute hole, so no real options outside of the hotel.

breaky was full cost but not restocked so very little choice after 9am- bit of a rip off no pastries, little bread left

A bit dated. Didn’t like large dining area much but probably catering for large tour groups.

The pool was outstanding & the food at the restaurant was really nice.
The room wa old, smelly the bed was really bad. Te room had uncontrollable air conditioning was unable to turn off and sign saying Must Remain in on. The room was over priced & had to ask for soap to wash my hands. They only provided small tubes bottle.
There was a urine odour through the room & linen.

Fantastic food and excellent restaurant service. The hotel decor was fabulous, particularly the art work and furniture in the rooms
The room wasn’t serviced and the duty manager was difficult when we tried several times to get the room cleaned, or at the very minimum some dry towels, so it made me feel a bit disappointed. The shower fittings and beds in the rooms are old and need replacement

It was a good place to stay while visiting Kakadu. I appreciated the upgrade too. Room was spacious. It has a restaurant and nice central area. Restaurant staff were very friendly.
It was very damp and swampy and the alleyway to the rooms was a little creepy. Also, the carpets didn’t feel very clean.
