Great hotel with incredible staff and nice location, outside the city, literally in the jungle!
A detail only, but the evening menu is quite limited.
Overall great hotel, but probably not a 4 stars.

It was a magical and wonderful hotel. Five of us had an incredible time in our four rooms. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The price was a bargain. Instead of staying there two days, I wish we had stayed there 2 weeks!
Nothing. Everything was great.

I like stayed in the heart of the jungle.
The cleaning service at room is often.
Rooms are bigger with balcony, kettle, coups and tea.
The attention is precarious. We've had wait 40min to checking. In many times, we order taxis at the reception, and they forget it. They charged additional services to my room...and take long time and discuss to solved that error.

The staff needed hospitality training, were unprofessional, the ambiance stiff and the food bad.
as above

The location, right in the middle of the jungle, very peaceful and quiet. The pool area is very nice too. The room was spacious. There is a restaurant on-site. The transportation was very easily arranged with local staff, convenient to go to Iguazú Falls and downtown.
The bath leaked and there was water everywhere after taking a shower.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here while visiting the nearby falls. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel! The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The setting in the rainforest was beautiful and exciting. The staff were all very helpful and kind and we enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant. It was a great place to stay to relax from our travelling and we only wish we could have stayed longer!
The food, while not bad, was not the same standard the rest of the hotel.

the hotel is ok but i won’t go through booking. com again. the hotel is out of town, feels like you’re in the jungle. nice swimming pool . staff pleasant
We traveled with family who booked a triple room and were told that they would have 2 double beds, but actually got 3 singles. this was a misrepresentation by booking.com, but no compensation was offered. we had one evening meal which was a bit disappointing. expensive for what it was.

Selva de Laurel is a nice small hotel situated in between of the main points: town, airport and Uguazu Falls Natural Reserve and in the middle of a Natural park. Silence, tropical vegetaion & sounds of birds and other animals was definitely what we hoped for and we got it at large... Special thanks to Michelle for warm welcome and kind care of guests (as well as for exellent command of English) and to the lady who cooked and served breakfast - we felt as being at an aunts house rather than at a hotel...
The only two issues we experienced (but which didn't spoil our experience at all!!!) were that other staff doesn't speak English well enough (common for Argentine) and that taxi service is not very reliable there - not hotel fault neither. Thus suggest to call for a taxi in advance and allowing at least half an hour for potential delays... By the way, taking a taxi from the airport (Argentinian side) to the hotel appeared even cheaper than the transfer by taxi preordered with the hotel (which didn't meet us there)

Location, close to some major attractions like La Aripuca. Near Rainforest.
I would have given the hotel a much higher rating if not because my money was stolen from my wallet while I was having breakfast at the hotel. The staff may be working together as I see them watching us at the BF place closely, maybe to check when we will leave so that they can inform the cleaner to leave our room. They are smart that they only stole one out of the few hundreds I have. I had USD in 100's and Peso in Thousands, and also CAD in 50's. upon return to my room from BF, I noticed my wallet was on the table and zipper opened. I didn't realized my money was missing until later that day when I tried to purchase something. In total, I lost 1 x 100 USD bill, 1 x 1000 Peso bill and 2 x 50 CAD bills. I was very certain it was at the hotel that I had been stolen the money as I counted my bills just the evening before and I had not gone anywhere before the money gone missing, except to Breakfast. My door was locked, so only the cleaner or other hotel staff can get inside my room.
