Beautiful place with great character

The location, the decor, the cleanliness, the breakfast and the hostess.
One minor issue, the bed, although definitely not the worst, wasn’t the most comfortable.

Excellent breakfast, host was friendly and professional, convenient location, peaceful location, good shower, very clean, very proper

Breakfast was lovely and we loved that it was served in privacy of our room. Room was spacious, comfortable and relaxing.

Very nice experience to stay in Lancasters Cottage. The room is extremely clean and the breakfast is so lovely. Most of all, Sarah (the gost) is very warm and friendly.

Sarah and Steve were excellent and we had a lovely time.

Beautiful home away from home set in the countryside with wonderful views.
Sarah was a fantastic host and the room was fresh, comfortable and impeccably clean.
We wish we’d brought the car! There’s a pub a short stroll away but we had stayed to attend a wedding and taxis were very expensive. (not a bad point about the property AT all!)

The location, the silence, the rooms, the breakfast, the beagles,...

5 ⭐️ Lovely location, spotless, excellent facilities and Sarah and Steve could not of been more friendly or helpful. Lovely breakfast served in your room with lots of choice. Recommend the fresh fruit, scrambled eggs & homemade jam. Nice large room with lovely en-suite with great shower. Even a well stocked fridge on the landing with soft drinks and snacks with an honesty box if you got the midnight munchies!! Lovely touch. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this amazing area and look forward to staying there again. Can also recommend the Windmill Pub for food which was just a 10-15 minute walk away.

Beautiful house, really comfortable bed, welcoming host, breakfast in bed is great! Dogs were also lovely. Sarah was very responsive, and kindly let me in late one evening as my partner had the keys and was stuck trying to get a taxi.

There was nothing to dislike. Highly recommend.

Immaculate accommodation, very friendly host. We enjoyed the stay.
Good location for exploring the Horsham area with its surroundings.
Can recommend the suggested 30-40min walk to the nearby pub for a meal.
Breakfast, though "only" continental, was plenty and lovingly prepared.

The Cottage was decorated and maintained to a very high standard; Sarah, our host, could not have been friendlier or more helpful - and to have woodpeckers in the garden every morning and evening was delightful!
This might not worry some people but the next room’s bathroom was immediately behind our headboard which was less than ideal.

beautiful and well equipped room in the heart of the countryside

The place was very peaceful and comfortable, was able to rest in the serene environment

Beautifully presented room with sitting area and TV. Modern and well appointed bathroom. Lovely continental breakfast served on a trolley to sit in the room overlooking the rural views from the front of the house. Good parking facilities. Sarah was really helpful with recommendations for places to eat locally.

Stayed here for two days following a 2 day stay at South Lodge Spa. The aim being to chill out at South Lodge and the explore the area whilst staying at Lancasters as we are National Trust members. The stay was very comfortable.
Being able to check in earlier but after liaising with Sarah the owner we came to an amicable agreement.

A wonderful B&B, Sarah and Steve were very friendly and helpful hosts.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful, all you could wish for.
A delicious breakfast, with plenty of choice, was brought to your room at a prearranged time.
A perfect location for visiting a variety of attractions. There was a pub and shop within walking distance, which was very handy.
Thank you Sarah & Steve!
Look forward to returning in the near future!.

A beautiful country cottage that is in a perfect position for a short drive to local nature reserves.
The hosts are lovely (including their cat and two dogs!) and the room are cosy. The breakfast service is amazing!

The welcome was warm, and the hosts were lovely and helpful. The parking was good. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. It was lovely having breakfast in our room overlooking the garden. We were able to walk across the fields to the local pub where the food was excellent.
The only thing that could have made it better would have been having a bath as well as the shower!

Tasty and freshly made breakfast, although eating in the bedroom seemed a bit cramped: the opportunity to eat outside on the terrace would have enhanced the experience especially as the weather was warm. Lovely white cotton sheets and power shower en-suite.

Probably one of the best B&Bs I have stayed at - and I have stayed at hundreds over the years.
Thankyou.
