really lovely, perfect for a weekend getaway. loved the accommodation. definitely recommend. perfect location for the town centre and many things to do.

Nice place to stay but a few minor issues.

The location was fine and it was a nice apartment. The shower was good and the kitchen facilities were fine.

We had a leak under the sink on first day and found light bulb and a table lamp by the bed not working. The tall blinds in the lounge had broken cords and could not be used. Contacted relevant person (Dee)and a tradie duly attended and fixed the leak and replaced a light bulb. Tradie told us would be back following afternoon to replace lamp, repair blinds etc so wife stayed in the property but he never materialised. Informed Dee he did not turn up. We ran out of toilet paper due to the water spillage from leak, contacted "Dee and informed someone would attend and drop off a roll. Did not materialise and was told none was left as we were out of the property. The bed side light was never replaced. Finally, the sofa in lounge was not comfortable and had seen better days. We stayed for 6 days. We did like the apartment and while Dee could not be responsible for tradie not turning up, this did impact on our experience.

Great, spacious apartment

Great apartment, really good space for 2 or 3; big kitchen, dining table, seating area; quiet, clean and secure. The surrounding area is pretty industrial but only a ten minute walk (2 minute drive) to a huge supermarket; five mins to the city centre. You probably need to have a car here, as the area around is an industrial estate. Also - communication and assistance from the Host was excellent.

Cool old building in a sketchy area, kind of gross inside.

Very cool old building, 12 ft tall ceilings. The kitchen facilities were nice, king sized bed was nice.

Location is very sketchy. It's in an industrial area far away from the city centre where busses don't even travel. Fine to walk around in the day, but tons of trash everywhere, homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk nearby, and really sketchy at night. Check in process was a little demanding since they have no front desk. You have to fill out a survey 2 days before arrival, which is kind of a lot to ask when you are already in the middle of busy travel. Based on this survey they apparently decide whether or not they will charge you a damage deposit, which also felt stressful and unfair. Rugs and carpets were disgusting, looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, were falling apart and had cigarette burns. Maybe the cleaning staff doesn't own a vacuum? It would be a lot better if there were just no rugs and carpets in this place at all. I wore my shoes the whole time because it was unsettling to walk around in socks or barefoot. Furniture is also gross and literally falling apart. I felt like the couch was going to collapse when I sat on it. All fabric on chairs, couch, etc were heavily stained and or ripped up.

Huge potential but overall adequate stay

Great bedroom, bathroom & kitchen facilities. Really great high ceilings and lighting.

The sofa was uncomfortable as the armrest was not attached properly and the back was loose. One of the blinds were broken. The keys were not in the lockbox for when we organised check in and someone had to come drop them.

Very good

Te apartament was really clean and the hosts were attentive and kind. We had everything we needed.

We had a bed and an expandable sofa and both were a bit uncomfortable to sleep in.

fare , as we stayed outdoors most of the time.

fair size apartment , with most of the facilities available

No life upto the second floor with young kids . no bedding / pillow covers for the first night of our stay. constant sound , very loud not sure what it was . felt like some water pipe making sounds but we were not told about it before and my little one kept waking up all night and was scared of the sound. no functioning light in 1 of the rooms of the apartment. broken chairs of the dining table - were not able to use them at all.

Great place, really cool, very clean place. I had an issue and they were very accommodating in resolving as well so great hosts as well.

Would not reccomend or return.

the apartment itself was relatively modern and clean

the building smelt very bad of cigarette smoke. the key we were provided with did not give us access to the building and we were unable to contact the host to give us the correct key for over one hour. the room was very cold. the wifi did not work. there were empty cans of alcohol on the stairs inside and outside the building, as well as rubbish. the bed was uncomfortable. we were advised that we could have guests attend to visit as long as they did not sleep over, we did this and our deposit was held. the building was not in a great location and the people within were not friendly at all. would avoid staying here, there is way better value for money around Sheffield. if you do stay, expect an old, cigarette smoke, strange building with little help from the staff themselves.

Cosy apartment. Nice size very clean and well maintained. I loved it.

The bed was not very comfortable and I would sink in the middle of the bed wherever anyone slept with me. Maybe the mattress needs to be replaced. However, the host was attentive to my request and provided me with a new iron and ironing board.

A very cold experience

The old features of the building, closeness to the city centre & quietness.

The coldness of the apartment and not having any additional heaters, the thin summer duvet which was provided for the middle of winter for the sofa bed. The lack of cutlery meant we had to let the children eat first then our selves but by this time our food was cold and to top it off the sink wouldn't drain away so we couldn't wash up. As you looked around the property it was a bit rundown in need of a little boost for example grouting in the bathroom needed replacing, the bedside light not working, photos lifting, the carpet in the bed needed cleaning etc... Easy things to fix but hadn't been taken care of. When somewhere is advertised to sleep/accommodate 4 people then everything should be provided we were missing a pillow for the sofa bed so our young children agreed as sharing one between two isn't comfortable, in the end due to the coldness they had to sleep in our bed with everyone wearing jumpers and socks over our PJ's. The apartment states it has a patio with outdoor furniture, this feels misleading as the corridor to the apartment is what seems to be used as a makeshift indoor patio with indoor furniture unfortunately there is also a cabinet and a load of cleaning equipment there as well not really a patio and definitely doesn't look like the photos. All in all not a good stay nor value for the money we paid.

Although location is within walking distance of Sheffield centre it is located in an industrial area. .

The entrance to the building was in the dark when I arrived at 5pm and it was hard to see the key safe. Had to use the light on my phone Main Bed was very uncomfortable with sunken areas, needs to be replaced. I used the sofa bed instead. Although the shower was good, the water did not drain away quick enough, so I had to turn the shower off before it flooded the bathroom.

Apartment was spacious and clean

When we arrived we found that the key for the outside door to the apartment block did not work and were stuck outside the building for some time. Thankfully someone was able to help us get into there building and the caretaker of the building was able to give us a replacement key however had he not been there we would have been stuck. The kitchen was very poorly stocked - there were no pots or pans, no baking tray etc for the oven and very few utensils and cutlery. I contacted the host but got no reply. I needed to cook for my daughter so ended up having to go out a buy a pot etc myself.

Overall lovely stay just a few minor details would’ve made the difference!

Overall had a great stay and would book again!

There was no hand wash or soap in the property at all and the shower didn’t drain properly so you could only shower for 5 minutes before bathroom floor was flooded. Also all kitchen ware needed to be washed before we used it. And would benefit from more kitchen utensils like a tin opener and scissors.
