The front desk worker with glasses that was there July 8 - 10 in the mornings was AMAZING. I forgot his name but he was helpful with everything and was extremely nice! He also ordered us a taxi when we needed it last minute to the airport!
Gracias por todo, eres muy amable; cuarto 113
The only thing that could have been better is the WIFI, was a bit slow but no complaints.

The hotel is centrally located yet quiet. The staff was welcoming and helpful, especially David, the front desk manager. Our room was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed. Strong Wi-Fi.
There were some problems with the air conditioning, which persisted on and off during our 4-night stay.

The hotel was centrally located without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Zocalo plaza. It's a clean and comfortable place with a friendly, helpful staff. Good in-room air conditioning. Staff communicates well, before, during and after stay.
Nothing I did not like.

Size of room not worth the price

Good hotel for the price
A 3 to 6 PM check in does not work well for international travelers. Will not use this hotel again.

Nice and clean, option to have room serviced daily.

Room was clean.
Room was very small, and the main bedroom window opened onto an interior atrium, not the outside. However, I think this is typical of hotels in this part of Mexico.

The hotel is very well-located, close to the zócalo and the staff is super nice and accommodating.
Wifi and hot water barely worked. Some essentials like toilet paper weren't replenished when the room was cleaned. The room faces an indoor area so everyone can see inside the room if curtains are open. Curtains couldn't be fully closed due to the air conditioning machine. Even though the room faces an indoor area, street traffic can be heard.

Staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay in Oaxaca.

location is one block from the zocalo and 2 blocks from the cathedral.
The room does not have a chair. It only has a small stool that fits under a desk. The only option to sit down and rest your back is to sit on the bed and this was not comfortable for a person with a sore back.
Also, this is a no smoking property. You aren’t allowed to smoke in the rooms or in the courtyard or anywhere else in the property. If you do smoke, they fine you 800 pesos. I think this should be in the property description so that the customers are not surprised by this when they arrive.
The rooms are much smaller than the photos portray.

Great location
The parking was elsewhere, turned out to be a bit complicated and confusing though the staff did a great job helping us.

The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and it was very quiet at night. Some people might like the fact that it is close to the center of town and, thus, where the action is at. If you pay cash, they give you a 10% discount on the rate.
On my last day there, there was some construction going on on the building next door, causing my room to reverberate or shake. Being close to the center of town, meant extra traffic, but then, most of the city seemed choked. A nice, comfortable, chair in my room, would have been nice.
