Quiet, peaceful, affordable accommodation

I like the peace......in the morning and the evening. Steve is such a nice guy. Very friendly.

We loved it

We had a few evening functions to attend so the lighting to do make up wasn't great and there was no space to hang our clothes downstairs after we ironed it. The closet was upstairs. Otherwise everything else was great. Loved the beds.

Disappointing

Not much, we didn't even complete a period of stay due to the place not satisfactory. We only spent one night out of six and had to look for alternative accommodation somewhere.

The stent was unbearable as we entered the room .We felt we were let down.We couldn't get the tv to work, tried to open one of the top drawers to pack our stuff, the bottom drawer fell apart , one of the windows was not opening only the bottom one were able to open , after having a shower , there was steam everywhere and opening the windows was not a good idea as the place turned out cold. No alternative heating. were given so many instructions not to do this, not to do that . We felt treated like small children. The owner called us , at night to tell us his generator was pulling hard and dragging, that time we had all the lights off, the heater was off , the fridge off, we had pulled sockets off the wall ensuring that nothing was on , and still felt falsely accused of causing the generator , to pull hard. Well, if there's nothing you can do about something better, leave it alone rather than bang your head against the wall.

Location Is practically in the middle of all places to visit safe and easy to locate. Mama Bongi the house keeper is the sweetest lady ever and very professional ❤.

A wonderful getaway for our family. We really enjoyed it!

Everything! The view is incredible and the bed was so comfortable!! The owner was easily reachable via WhatsApp and very understanding. Instructions for check in were explained perfectly! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return should we visit Durban again.

The location was convenient. Steve was in regular contact regarding getting into the premises and other information. Steve was also very friendly and accommodating. There was even a generator during load-shedding.

The one room only has a curtain separating the bathroom and room - I would like it if a door was there. But other than that no other issues.

I loved everything about the place, more importantly the friendly and welcoming hosts 🙏. My grandmother really appreciated the little effort of Steve greeting in Zulu hahaha 🤣🤣, she kept praising him. I loooooved the coffee my god, even the word "love" is an understanding 🤞, I swear the coffee is just out of this world. I wonder what brand is it hhhmm! God I loved everything, I could go on and on.....The view from the Comfort Loft is just insanely beautiful!!!!! The business room was nice & cosy too.

Best stay ever

I loved everything about the accommodation. They provide everything you will need when you are on a trip. Especially us women we use lots of things luckily we don't have to carry it they provide for us. I was very impressed 😁. They even provide whisk 👌 we really enjoyed our stay at Winston house l

If your in Durban stay here!

Winston house is amazing. Rooms are great size. Art work is cool. Full DSTV package meant we could chill Inbetween activities. The owners are cool people that will do anything to try and help.

Great place

I love the place, it's was amazing, Steve and Janet were very Friendly I even broke his glass but that was not the issue he just said you breaking now and he laughed so I would really recommend Winston to my friends and family Keep up the good work

The kitchen set was not enough the knife wasn't cutting properly the stove was burning the food because you can't lower the speed you cook with high only. They need to buy more kitchen staff like wood cooking spoon big bowls you can't even make salads
