About this cabin rental
Moose Tracks Cabin is a beautiful and cozy 1800 sq ft cabin with 4 queen beds, a loft (with 2 sofa sleepers), pack 'n play, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, rock gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, high chair, covered patio (with bbq grill, picnic table, fire pit). On the main floor, you will find 2 queen bedrooms, one with an attached half bathroom (shower only) and cable TV. There is also a full bath on the main floor. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms - each with queen beds, as well as another full bathroom. There is fast WiFi, 2 TV's with Roku and 2 TV's with cable.
Many recent upgrades including new log beds, new stainless steel appliances, new kitchen table, new small appliances and new electric leather reclining couches. The decor is warm and welcoming - perfect for your family getaway. Moose Tracks is a short walk from the Buffalo River (our family's favorite spot to float in the summer), the local medical clinic, and Pond's Lodge - an excellent bar/restaurant with gas station and convenience store. Very easy year-round access, excellent fishing, and snowmobiling. Only 30 minutes to Yellowstone!!

Do not hesitate to stay here. We had a wonderful time and could not be more impressed with this location. It was a very quick and easy trip into Yellowstone with so many things to do right in Island Park. The lodge was very clean and had every amenity you could think of. The ice machine was a wonderful surprise too! Having the restaurant and convenience store right there made it easy if you needed something or did not want to cook. Everyone was very friendly and had great suggestions of things to do. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay in the cabin at Island Park. The location was perfect. The extras like the kayaks were great. We floated the Buffalo river. Ponds lodge is next door.

We chose this property due to its close proximity to West Yellowstone National Park entrance. We found the immediate surrounding areas beautiful too. The check-in and out process was very simple. The cabin is lovely with so many amenities that match the surrounding areas. We had plenty of room with just about everything you could possibly need. We appreciated the nice touch of a welcome gift and basic pantry items awaiting us(great array of spices). We loved having the standalone icemaker! Beautiful place with an abundance of “at home” features. It was very clean when we arrived. We highly recommend this place and thank you for sharing it with us.

My husband, my son and his family of 2 children, ages 2 & 4 and his wife joined us for a trip that included visiting Yellowstone and also a friends wedding in Driggs, Idaho.
We stayed at this beautiful home for only 2 days.
Everything was perfect for all. We all had our own space and had every convenience that we needed.
The house is located in a small neighborhood that is currently under construction but that did not deter from the area.
Hopefully, we will return in the future.

This cabin was very clean. Everything was comfortable and well-stocked. So glad to have stocked coffee available. The living room couch recliners are so comfortable that I wanted to buy them! Enjoyed having temp controls in each area. The fireplace is very nice. Plus the way the cabin is laid out is so nice. Very safe for kids. The only negative is there were not enough towels in the bathrooms. And the contact was not great at replying once we were there. However, the staff at Pond's Lodge manages this and they were wonderful to accommodate us; and they would have probably supplied us with more towels. (Their restaurant is fabulous! But be sure to check the hours. They only serve dinner until 9pm and no breakfast. They do serve wonderful pizza until 10pm. We do think this was the best cabin in the Pond's Lodge community and when we return to Yellowstone we will book this again. Great place for a family.

The property was amazing. We loved the great supply of kitchen items - griddle, lots of spices, many cooking utencils, and the ice machine. The laundry room was supplied with detergent and fabric softner. The 4 boys loved the big TV upstairs as well as the games.

Are group enjoyed the cabin. Plenty of room for us and all of our gear for snowmobiling. The big deck out front had a great view. It was decided when we go back out we wanted to stay in the same place. Its the best cabin we have rented when visiting the area.

Great vacation with a quick 30 minute drive to West Yellowstone. Property manager was very responsive to our needs. We had 3 couples, so it was very nice to have our own bedrooms and baths. Ponds lodge restaurant and convenience store were very much appreciated.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. I was worried it would be too hot, but it was nice and cool. We were a little confused about the check-in process. I guess there were some problems with emails going out, but we figured it out. I would absolutely stay here again if I had the opportunity.

We stayed here 6 nights while visiting Yellowstone. The cabin is well stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms have window air conditioners which was great in the heart. The loft was great for the kids. We had such a great time and this cabin was perfect to come back to each day and relax. The deck has a large picnic table and also a propane fire pit and barbeque. Highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay so much & if we go back to Yellowstone, we will DEFINITELY try to book this cabin again. The location was great - just 30 minutes from the town of West Yellowstone, where there were tons of restaurants and souvenir shops, as well as the west entrance to the park.
There was a little convenience store & restaurant right around the corner from the cabin that came in handy and there was an excellent place for breakfast just 3 or 4 miles down the road, right on the river.
The cabinet itself was just beautiful and extremely comfortable. I was impressed by the cleanliness as well as the fact that someone obviously put a lot of thought into what could make spending time there more enjoyable. There were several board games, some of which my family played in the evenings, there was a horseshoe pit, some puzzles and books, and even a foosball table that my son & husband thoroughly enjoyed.
The only issue we had was that it was advertised to have air conditioning in all four bedrooms, but only two of them had units actually installed. The other two had the window air conditioning units uninstalled and sitting in the closet. It wasn’t a huge issue, though, because they had extra fans around the house, and the evenings were nice & cool anyway. We thought it might be a problem but it really wasn’t.
Overall, this was a fabulous cabin that I would highly recommend to others and if given the opportunity, we will absolutely stay there again! Thank you!

Everything was fine, but when we arrived, we noticed the dish sponge was used/dirty and asked for anew one. The maintenance gut then asked us if we could just rinse it out and reuse it. Absolutely gross and uncalled for. Maintenance guy in general was rather rude and short towards us and not professional or welcoming. Other than that, everything was fine.

The cabin was wonderful for our family. Very clean and stocked with everything you would need. Lots of board games and some outdoor games which were fun to play. I would highly recommend staying. It’s nice that there is a convenient store right there too!

We stayed for a week and had lots of fun and enjoyed the stay in the cabin. It had all the amenities, new stainless steel appliances, clean and comfortable beds. The property manager responded quickly to all queries. Will definitely stay back again.

We asked if there was a possibility to check in early due to snowstorm forecast and the employees working check in counter we’re so rude about it
They had another person come out and tell us “didn’t you hear check in is 3?! Or I can just cancel your reservation!!”

The house was perfect for our needs. Good location. Super CLEAN! Just a note: The closest real grocery store is in West Yellowstone, bring your own wine glasses (none in the house), and I always bring extra towels and washclothss, only 2 sets in each bath. Otherwise the house is perfect. Parking in front of front stairs for easy access. Super comfy reclining sofas, and well equiped kitchen. Beds were comfy too. Loved our stay here.

Impressive just doesn’t say enough
My wife and I are from Idaho and had friends coming from Atlanta that I’ve never visited. We wanted to show them Island Park and West Yellowstone. The cabin is more like a very well furnished home. Classy, roomy and well equipped for all needs. We will definitely be renting this cabin again, it is one of the best in the area. Very impressive.

Perfect for our family
We flew into Salt Lake City and drive to Island Park. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 children ages 17-21. They each got their own room for 2 nights before we moved on to shared bedrooms. Nice comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen.

4 couples on a western vacation - property was fantastic as we all had our own bedrooms. Upstairs bedroom door lock would stick at times. Well stocked kitchen, was helpful for breakfast. Restaurant on grounds was a surprised- great selection & service. Very clean and a large porch to end the day !!

We loved our stay!
Wow, we were blown away at how stocked, clean and beautiful this cabin was. Check in was a breeze, check out was the easiest process I’ve ever experienced. The cabin had everything a big family would need to make meals which is probably the biggest plus! Instapot, crockpots, plenty of silverware/bowls/dishes- you name it. It accommodated 10 people in every way. Sometimes we’ve stayed at places that sleep 10 and then they have like 8 sets of silverware- not this place! Thank you for the best stay- we will definitely recommend your property and will stay here again the next time we’re traveling through!

We loved our stay in Island Park! The cabin was close to the trails we rode, plenty of parking for our RZRs, beautiful deck to hang out and have our family dinner bbq. We’ve stayed in this cabin before and we love it!

Great Location to visit Yellowstone!
We were an extended family of 11 total. We had kids as young as 3 up to 16 as well as 7 adults. The location was very convenient to the highway and a visit to Yellowstone's West Entrance. We also visited Mesa Falls and Grand Teton during our stay.
The rooms are very comfortable for 2 adults in each room. With the doors closed it is also pretty quiet in the rooms. Three bathrooms were great to have with our big group and a shower/bath in each was also nice.
The cabin has a wall of East facing windows that let in a lot of natural light. The upper levels have no covering and are level with the loft that has 2 couch beds. If you are planning to get up early to fish or visit the park the early morning sun will not be an issue for you.
The cabin does not have central air conditioning but in that area of Idaho it does not usually get very hot and it does cool off at night. We opened window in the evening/at night and then closed everything during the day and were comfortable. There is also a box fan in each of the bedrooms that fits nicely in the window or can be moved to the living room area.
The store where you check in is nice if you forgot anything but not a full grocery store. It was also nice to have someone there if we ran into any issues or had questions. There is unsecured, free WiFi at the cabin and cell service for some providers. In that area it is just really hit or miss. We had service with Verizon but not with AT&T.
Overall we had a great trip and wonderful experience.

The pictures of the property and the list of amenities are accurate. We stayed 5 nights and had a great experience. Everyone slept very well at the cabin. The people at check in/check out are fabulous! If you have a question they have the answer.
