We mean it when we say that White Moose Cabin truly is in the best location Island Park has to offer! Only 22 miles from the West Entrance to Yellowstone, this cabin is walking distance to some of the greatest attractions, amenities, and restaurants in the area. Robins Roost, the only grocery store in Island Park, is just down the road, so no need to worry if you forgot something on your list. Depart on a one-minute drive to High Mountain Adventure to rent kayaks, and journey to the popular Big Springs Boat Dock for a nice easy float down the Big Springs River, just five miles from home. Come to snowmobile or ATV? White Moose Cabin makes it easy to access gateways to hundreds of miles of recreational trails that are just around the bend. Though the cabin is close to necessary amenities, White Moose Cabin is tucked away in a towering lodge pole pine forest and nestled under the iconic Sawtelle Mountain. The quiet seclusion provides a picturesque view and soothing sounds of the forest that any soul would crave. It wouldn’t be unusual to spot creatures such as deer, fox, or moose simply passing through the neighborhood. Some of the greatest fishing is just down Highway 20 in the Henrys Fork Outlet or even Henrys Lake. The location is on point, but then again, you’ll have to see it for yourself to believe it.
Within its log-constructed walls, White Moose Cabin holds three private bedrooms and a loft that hosts two queen beds. The luxurious master bedroom has a fireplace of its own and private access to the cabins very own hot tub. The fully stocked spacious kitchen provides the perfect setting to host a scrumptious in-home meal, fit for the whole crew. Planning for a BBQ? No problem! Use the cabins BBQ grill or the flames of an open fire at the fire pit. Through all four seasons, White Moose Cabin offers the option to gather around the gas lit fire stationed on the front porch. Even in the cold, keep your vehicle or snowmobiles warm in the spacious heated two-car garage. After a long adventure in the great outdoors, cuddle up on the couches in the living room or cozy up by the gorgeous fireplace for an evening movie or simple conversation. Indulge in a healing soak in the well-maintained hot tub, where though the steam, a glorious forested view awaits. Children can enjoy a bedtime story in the cabins very own loft library, created especially for you to utilize during your stay. Selecting a cabin for your mountain get away is a big task! Let’s just say, you wont regret your stay at White Moose Cabin. The forest awaits!
*The property does NOT have air conditioning*
**The owners recently finished the loft above the garage for their personal use. It has a private entrance on the far side of the garage, so that the owners may use it at any time. They have strategically set it up to keep the cabin private for guests.**

Was a wonderful space for myself and my best friend’s family. It was a bit warmer than we’re used to at night without AC but they did bring additional fans for us. Was a great location for using the West gate at Yellowstone.

Great place for the whole family. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to Yellowstone. We really enjoyed the place.

Thirty minutes outside of West gate of Yellowstone. Cabin exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, clean and everything we needed, including convenient location to a market and restaurants. Perfect!

We have stayed at many large homes over the years and this one is one of the best for a family with a full suite on the first floor (for grandma and pa) and plenty of beds upstairs. It is fully equipped, everything works, and it is very clean. The beds and linens are great, down to the large, hot-tub towels. The kitchen is equipped with a full set of dishes and great pots and pans! Currently, it is built on the edge of a growing area with lots of large homes. It is conveniently located to the park and is near a very nice small grocery store along with a couple of nice restaurants. It is in the heart of fishing territory on the Henry's Fork river. Would definitely return when in the area again.

We loved every bit of the house. We would do it again in a heart beat.

It was a great experience. We had a great time. I only have a couple of complaints in the master bedroom is very noisy plumbing from the upstairs bathroom there needs to be some more insulation. And it looks like the cleaners may not have cleaned very good. There was still a lot of garbage and confetti from probably a New Year’s party under all the couches.

House and garage set up is amazing. Me and my buddies agreed it was the best place we have stayed so far in Island Park. Detached garage to pull sleds into to thaw and wrench was perfect. We also loved the secluded feel. Will be staying here next year for sure! Communication with owner was easy, only had to reach out on arrival, and he answered right away. 100% recommend staying here.

Excellent location, easy driveway in and out! Cozy living room and great kitchen space. Would stay here again!

Best vacation rental so far!

The cabin is even nicer than the photos indicate! It is very spacious, well-appointed and very clean. The area is quiet and serene and convenient for our trip to Yellowstone. Thank you!

We loved staying here! Our flight was about an hour early so the owners were on site working on the property when we arrived. We were able to talk to them and they were very nice. The property is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this cabin. Tyler was also great. We had a couple of very small hiccups and he was super fast at getting them resolved for us. We enjoyed the relaxing drive to Yellowstone and loved being close yet far enough to escape the crowd. We enjoyed cooking every day in the kitchen and every evening/night we were in the hot tub. We enjoyed the cabin so much, we actually took a couple of days off from Yellowstone to lay around and explore the area. We found a great little park with a beautiful waterfall (Mesa Falls). Everything about this place was perfect for us!

This was a wonderful place for us and our grown kids to vacation together. There is tons to do and the cabin was wonderfully stocked with kitchen gadgets.

This is our second stay at the White Moose Cabin. Our family enjoyed it so much the first time, they all voted to return this year. The children enjoyed the activities that were provided. The adults enjoyed the spacious porch and the well equipped kitchen, and everyone enjoyed the comfortable living room seating.

Property and house was just as advertised. Fit the bill for us as a group and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. We had three families (12 people total) and everyone had space. The kitchen was very well stocked, everything was clean, lots of little “extras” and thought were put into making sure guests feel welcome. The kids loved the hot tub. Though it’s close to things in Island Park, we loved being in the “woods” and still feeling secluded. (Grocery store is less than .5 mile)
Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

The White Moose Lodge is in the ideal location for visiting Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole, WY. This lodge can accommodate a large family.

The cabin was loaded with all necessary supplies.
Kitchen had electric griddle, spices, cofee, hot chocolate. Kids enjoyed the indoor games , fire pit and the bunk beds.

This property is conveniently located only 20+ minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. In addition to Yellowstone, Island Park has great recreational areas as well (Big Springs and Henry Lake). The cabin is nestled back in a wooded area which allows for privacy. The shed with corn hole boards, basketball and table hockey allowed for evening fun with family and friends. The highlight of the stay was an encounter with a moose about 30 feet from the hot tub.

This cabin was a lovely place to stay. We have 5 adults and had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The cabin was nicely decorated, well equipped, and close to groceries and a couple of good restaurants. It was a bit of a drive to Yellowstone, but worth it to have such a nice place to stay.

11 in our party. House was more than adequate for our party’s size. Check in/out was a breeze and our host,Tyler was very accommodating. Everything was perfect! No complaints. Would stay there again.

We had so much fun staying at White Moose, the kitchen was lovely to use, the Hot Tub was a huge perk, plenty of seating in the living room so we could all cozy up for a movie. The fall colors were beautiful and we are so thankful for the memories made there!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The distance to the park was just a short drive. Everything we needed was there besides the food! Will definitely stay here again.

One of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in. Super clean, comfortable, and convenient to West Yellowstone. There is a nice little convenience store down the street with all the essentials (food, drinks, snacks, produce, etc) you'd need during your stay. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

This is the perfect house to visit Yellowstone from, comfortable, clean, Smart TV, game room, fireplaces in the master bedroom and in the living room , giant kitchen, what a place , highly recommended..

We’d give the White Moose cabin 10 out of 5 stars if we could! It is gorgeous, perfectly maintained, immaculately clean, well appointed, beautifully furnished and decorated.
We arrived after dark during a very cold thunderstorm, and we so appreciated being greeted by a cozy fire in the master bedroom fireplace! (The cabin has two thermostat-controlled gas fireplaces. We enjoyed them so much, we wish we could’ve transported one home with us…)
The kitchen is spacious, really well organized, and stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare meals.
The king-sized bed is amazingly cozy and the living room has plenty of comfortable seating— perfect for unwinding after long days of hiking and sightseeing.
We appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches too: strategically placed nightlights for navigating in an unfamiliar place, nightstand alarm clocks with built-in charging ports, and a welcome supply of water bottles, oatmeal packets and granola bars placed on the kitchen island for us.
The heated garage is a welcome bonus, too.
The location is ideal, tucked into a quiet wooded area yet with quick and easy access to the highway. It is an easy, scenic ~30 minute drive to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.
Our host was easy to communicate with, and responded quickly and courteously whenever we had questions.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We truly hated to leave, and are already planning to bring our adult sons here for a future Yellowstone adventure.

The property was fantastic. The drive to YNP west entrance was about 25 minutes, so not bad and something I'd be willing to do again. The house itself was sort of close to the highway, which concerned me at first, but we never noticed noise, even when outside enjoying the space for a quick game of wiffle ball or enjoying the hot tub. We were two families - three and four people with three boys 8-10 years old. The boys used the room with the bumk bed and double bed while the adults used the other two rooms so we didn't need to use the loft, which became a fun play area for the boys in the evenings. The living room had ample space, but we ended up spending most evenings around the large dining table in the open living-kitchen-dining area. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed and even nice that your average dishware. Not much I can think of on the negative side other than we would liked to have stayed longer! We have been going to YNP and the surrounding areas of ID/MT/WY for several years and this house is definitely one of the best spots we've stayed. We'd defintely stay again.

Wonderful Place !!!
This cabin was about perfect in so many ways. There is actually never a need to leave the cabin if you didn't want too. Excellent and comfortable amenities in every room. The garage playroom and hot tub is perfect for relaxing evenings. It is located out of town, but a close distance to all of the area attractions. It is right down the road to a local store, in case you need supplies. We definitely hope to be back on our next trip!!

This is a beautiful property away from all the hustle and bustle of Yellowstone, but still close enough to the town of West Yellowstone for restaurants and groceries. We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer!
4.9
We enjoyed every inch of this lovely cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels for the showers and hot tub. There was enough seating on the deck for everyone and the forest was beautiful.
