Ted and Sallie are great hosts! They are very friendly and provide delicious breakfasts. Very attractive house. My room was large with a comfortable bed and Sallie arranged it so I had sole use of the bathroom across the hall (2 of the 4 rooms have ensuite). The B&B is located near (10 min walk) Vancouver's pretty waterfront (lots of restaurants and bars) and a 20-30 minute drive to Portland.

It was historic and had a lot of character and charm.
Nothing. It was just what we needed!

The owners were very welcoming. The house has been beautifully restored. The breakfast was fantastic!! I was visiting friends who lived nearby so the location was great for me. This was my favorite place I stayed on this trip. I hope I have an opportunity to stay there again.

Our flight was delayed by 7 hours (!!!) leading us to arrive at 10:00pm. Sallie was gracious and loving to two weary travelers.
The breakfasts are AMAZING! We loved everything about our stay. Thank you!

I love the stories shared at breakfast, it felt much more like visiting friends than anything else. Well, the food was better! Thank you Ted for remembering that the granola wasn't my jam and putting it on the side the second day. The detail was amazing!
All of it was wonderful for me, for those who do not appreciate an older home that you can hear the comings and goings of each guest this may not be the place for you.

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Sallie steered us to a Thai restaurant and local sights. The breakfasts were delicious and personalized (tastes and portions were noted and adjusted the second morning). They had off street parking, and check in was a meet and greet. Our rooms were really sweet - just the perfect match for my mom's birthday trip! It was a birthday win as she loved the homey stay, and the chats with the hosts. Top it off with an adorable dog!
We did not mind any of the noise (you could hear airplanes and trains) but IF you are sensitive to noise - let them know so they can put you in an off street room. I would stay in the street side room we were in again!

My room was just what I needed and well equipped. The breakfasts are delicious!! Such a treat. I enjoyed talking to the owners and being able to walk out to the riverfront.

It's a cozy Bed&Breakfast run by Sally and Ted in their home. I was warmly welcomed and the two are great hosts, helping out and providing advice wherever they can. In the morning, they provide a delicious home-made breakfast and I really enjoyed the few days that I stayed. If I'm in Vancouver, I would definitely stay here again!

The stay was fantastic - the owner was incredibly nice and personable and cooked us a fantastic breakfast each morning. The room was very clean too. I would absolutely stay there again should I be in the area.
I have no complaints - I thought everything was wonderful.

I work in the WA Courts System and had to travel to Vancouver for a case. Picked this property due its proximity to the courthouse, but it exceeded all my expectations. The owners of the inn are most friendly and extremely flexible. The breakfasts were delicious and timely. Even accommodated my need to get breakfast a bit earlier than the posted times, so I could get to work. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the wifi high speed and perfect for work. There was even free, off-street parking. The inn is within walking distance to all the downtown interests, as well as the Waterfront and Officers' Row. Highly recommend.

Overall excellent experience! The location was great, easy to get to local attractions and the wedding venue which was the reason we were in Vancouver/Portland. Ted and Sallie were great hosts and since we had some extra time they gave suggestions about local attractions. There was always parking available at the rear of the house. They both were interesting to talk with. We were in the Hemingway Room which has a private bath. Ted prepared great breakfasts. We would stay there again.
The only concern I have is that the bed was softer than what we are used to, but this is a personal choice and it was acceptable. While we always had a parking space at the rear of the house, I can see that if all four rooms were occupied that there could be a parking concern.

We stayed 4 nights and wish we would have stayed longer. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed talking to Sallie and playing with the lovely dog Gracy.
The breakfast Ted made was delicious and varied every day a little bit. Sallie had good (restaurant) recommendations for the area.
Every room has its own charm and is decorated very comfy. We felt like home here and would come again every time :)
