The staff are wonderful, and the park behind the hotel is fabulous for a morning walk. The room layout is excellent. Great use of space and super cozy. I've travelled the world and stayed in some of the best hotels in Asia and Europe, so I'm probably more critical than most, but at the end of the day it's the staff that matter, and despite any shortcomings with accommodation and housekeeping, hotel staff were great.
It seems Marriot has given up on ironed sheets, warm covers and decent pillows. There's also no bottled water in rooms - you have to go downstairs and ask for it. I would happily pay a couple of bucks more to be guaranteed water in my room so I don't have to get dressed again to go downstairs after a late check-in and 7 hour drive. The compressor of the air conditioning unit was extrememly loud, and I eventually turned it off to sleep, resulting in a stuffy room and uncomfortable night.

We requested a pack and play for my granddaughter. When we arrived at 9pm they didn’t have one available. I requested it on my booking, I personally called the day before and requested one. My son called two days before and requested one. Unfortunate. She slept with my son but we had to move furniture around so she wouldn’t fall out of the bed. The staff person really didn’t care. I had to make up the sofa bed luckily there was bedding available

Booking.com shows they booked two King Suites + Sofa Bed for 2 nights (5 people). And somehow they booked One King Suite + plus sofa for One night and a second King Suite + sofa for 2 nights.
Towneplace by Marriott caught the problem and changed us to a Two King Suite Bedrooms + sofa (5 people) for $405 cheaper than what I paid online!
The hotel was amazing. Very clean, very safe, secure, full kitchen with continental and full breakfast available. The beds were very comfortable!
Nothing. It was great!

Everything was good. I am in VA weekly to visit my mom who is a nursing facility. In 1 year that weve been coming here, my family stayed at this hotel numerous times. The only thing that i just happened to notice on my last stay is that - we have to pay for parking. I know its stipulated but i wish it was FREE to think that the space in front is huge.

Rooms, beds, pillows, overall comfort and mostly clean. Predictable Marriott sleep experience which means I got solid sleep.
Very very minor - full kitchen but no sponge, not enough dishwashing powder, and breakfast is not as good as it once was. All pre packaged food and sandwiches are all over cooked - the bread is always hard like it was on the heater too long and this was everyday for 1 week.

Breakfast and location were good.

Location and view of the park. Hot breakfast (including eggs, oatmeal, sausage), beverages, fruit, cereal, etc.
The neighbors above us were incredibly loud. We were on vacation, but felt like we were in a work space because of the desk, lap desk, and the TV’s awkward placement. I felt like I was in a teenage boy’s room with the utilitarian aspects and the bright colors. The rest of the room was ok. The room was small and spendy.

Likes the amenities and park behind the hotel
I had paid $350 for my stay on booking.com. But I was billed for $350 at the hotel as refundable deposit but haven't received the refund yet

Location was great, there is a wonderful park just behind the motel that the kids loved. There's also a VERY popular French breakfast place in parking lot. Breakfast at motel included oatmeal with toppings, juice, scones, egg sandwiches, egg bites, yogurt, fruit. Decent. Rooms were good, nothing stood out in a good or bad way.
The most disappointing thing about this motel is the fact that they say they have an outdoor heated pool, but they don't clarify that it's only heated during the summer months... we were really looking forward to it on our trip in April but ended up having to squish in hot tub and lay outside.

The room wasn’t clean everywhere. So, I’m not sure how sanitized it could have been

Clean, friendly, quiet, and just a fantastic time. The bed in my room was every bit as nice as my own!! Complimentary breakfast was better than any I’ve experienced at other Marriotts
At the moment I can’t think of any !!!! 😎😇
