We loved this cabin. It had everything you need. The details make all the difference and this cabin had them all- stocked kitchen, hooks EVERYWHERE for all your stuff, games to play. We loved it!

This was our 2nd friends ski trip to Boone and we had the best time at the cabin. Perfect location with tons of space that perfectly accompanied 3 couples and 2 extras that didn’t mind sharing a king bed together. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. We were also able to park 4 cars out from with no problems with space. We are already planning our trip for next year. Can’t wait!

Great stay again. This was our second stay at this cabin and it was good again.

Everything was excellent. Hot tub had trouble keeping above 98 in evening though. It would be 103 in morning then drop through the day

Did not realize the property was not central heat and air. The dryer was broken when we got there, needed a heating element that was scheduled to be fixed after our departure. It was very inconvenient due to having 2 small babies and not being able to do any laundry, wash towels, etc. When I called the office to discuss it, I was told a manager would call me back and never received a call back.

Very satisfied with this property

A spacious comfortable cabin, very nicely decorated, excellent view. comfortable rooms, very well equipped, a spacious kitchen with all the utensils such as pots. summing up a wonderful place to relax and have an amazing time + less than 20 minutos from the mountains. Highly recommended 100%

Property was clean and in a great area!

Our stay here was great! We came for an Appalachian football game. It was a great location and had everything we needed. We would warn other guests that the door automatically locks - we walked out with no keys to unload the car and luckily were able to get back in through a window!

Everything was even better about this place in person! 10 out of 10 recommend. Wil be staying here again!

One of the best mountain cabin rentals ever. Needed some time away from work and this cabin checked all of the boxes. Very clean. Comfortable furnishings and beds, nice bathroom accommodations (loved the large master shower with "river pebble" floor), well appointed kitchen and dual gas/charcoal grill, and despite a VERY steep elevation neighborhood, direct walk-in access to front door (no steps up or down). Plan on staying here again soon.

Spend a week in this wonderful cabin with my husband, son (turning 18) and four of his buddies. Absolutely wonderful time. Highly recommend and would stay again. Few items for future visitors. Bring trash bags, liquid laundry detergent (front loaders), beach towels (for hot tub). Note to host (more for the cleaning crew) lot of cobwebs through the inside of the house. A deep clean would be beneficial. Great location, easy checkin and check out, plenty of space, well equipped, lots of games and game rooms down stairs great!

The cabin was as advertised. The only thing is that you may want to bring a few extra garbage bags.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long wk-end at the Cozy Bear cabin. Saw lots of wildlife on the property. Enjoyed fishing at Grandfather Mt. Trout lakes. Drove to Newland to a choose and cut Christmas tree farm. An overall great time.

We had a great stay at this cabin! Everything about this place was amazing and done with love and care. So many things thought about and taken care of -- this is not a bare bones rental. Great location, plenty of space, fully stocked kitchen (including coffee!), fireplace with plenty of firewood provided, game room, clean hot tub, grill, remodeled and spacious master bathroom, you name it - it was all there, clean and ready to use!

Overall the property is nice but fell short with chipped glassware, all towels had to be rewashed as they had that odor when they sit in the washing machine too long before going into the dryer, and in need of a deep cleaning.
We had trouble with the living room heating unit and all lighting had a mixture of warm and cool bulbs. We contacted the rental company and they promptly addressed our concerns.
We appreciated that this property came with firewood which is a nice touch as not all do and was centrally located for the things we wanted to do.

This property was the best I've stayed in to date. It had all the ammenities that were listed and more. WIFI was great, all stations on tv, great heat and fireplace. All the little extras were done up to the tens. Great cozy, spacious clean cabin, and will definitely rent again. Really got my monies worth this time.

We had a great stay! Beautiful house and everything in it was nice! We highly recommend this place. I only wish it had more parking for everyone seeing how we had 4 couples in 4 vehicles but it was a beautiful place and we loved. It!
4.8
This cabin had plenty of separate spaces for our family. Each of our 3 kids got their own space. Cabin was clean. Wifi worked as needed. Quiet neighborhood. Beds weren't as comfortable as we had hoped. Lots of extra pillows, but no pillow cases to be found. Living room didn't work well for family movies. Not enough seating and TV sits way too high above the fireplace. Really no major complaints though. Fit our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Bear Cabin! I would highly recommend this rental.

Overall we had a great experience the house was great. It was a good size for our combined families with room to spare and good entertainment space. The only issue we had was the fireplace seemed to not function properly. And 3 cars would be a max for parking fitting trucks or longer vehicles is difficult. Overall great experience!
4.8
Great location with near by hikes and amazing views. Cabin was clean and cozy. We had a lot of fun playing pool and air hockey.
4.8
This property was amazing and one of the best locations we’ve ever stayed at in the mountains! Everything was gorgeous the cabin had more than enough space to accommodate everybody!
4.8
Huge, beautiful porches, view of lake, wonderful hot tub out there, great grills, and real wood wood stove, all rooms have separate heating and air conditioning
4.8
The house is in a beautiful spot and was a great size for 5 friends to share. Kitchen was well stocked and ample bath towels for all. House is easy drive to Banner Elk and some local vineyards. The house does have a lot of cobwebs in the main room hanging from some of the taxidermy. We had to replace the batteries in all the TV remotes for the main TV and still couldn’t get the DVD player to work. Hot tub was well heated, but half the jets do not work. Could have used some instructions for the wood burning stove - had difficulty adjusting the flue to keep the room from filling with smoke. Overall would recommend.

This was our first time renting a cabin in the mountains. We've always wanted to and our 2 boys are just the right age to enjoy this type of vacation now. We knew they would love the hot tub and game room and they did! The cabin is beautifully decorated and located perfectly/central to the popular towns. We plan to be back some time in the fall or winter. You will not be disappointed staying here!

Nice property. Close to Boone and well stocked. Plenty of wildlife to watch (deer and ducks).

Spacious and clean. Views were amazing and kids enjoyed playing pool and hanging out in hot tub.
