About this apartment rental
This two bed two bath unit is mid floor level in building 4. A short walk takes you to the Oma’s Meadow lift and you can walk within minutes to Upper Flying Mile. The condo is cozy with a flat screen TV and electric fireplace in the family room and both bedrooms. Enjoy free Wi-Fi as well as a sampling of books and DVDs. The master bedroom has a spacious king size bed, the guest room has a queen size bed, and a queen sofa sleeper is in the family room. The fully equipped kitchen has all the essential cooking utensils and cookware. There is seating for 6 in the dining room plus room for 3 at the bar. The clubhouse provides an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, & fitness room for our guests enjoyment. The property also has tennis courts and outdoor grilling areas. I would like to start by saying when I travel I try to keep my expectations very low so I will not be disappointed. The unit we stayed in, Unit 423, was unacceptable even with low expectations. The unit had spider webs in the corners of the ceiling and on the floors. It was dirty for my grandchild to be on the floors. The electrical outlets in both bathrooms did not work. I called ahead and was told the room had a Keurig coffee machine and it did not. I had to call to get one. The baseboard heating units were dented and rusty. And more importantly, very unpredictable. It was either very cold in our unit or so hot we had to open the door. Not good situation for myself, as I have chronic bronchitis and breast cancer. The heat situation was an issue for the grandchildren also as they are 6, 5 and 2 years old. There were holes and cracks in the wall. Some of which had been poorly patched. The dining room chairs are filthy. The bedding was old and musty. The mattress in the king bed was lumpy, sloping and my husband felt he was going to fall out. He slept in the other room due to this. The bathroom door handle was loose and rusted. Worked but very dirty.

This is the second summer we have stayed in this unit for a four week summer getaway. This is a very comfortable and well stocked unit and has an excellent view of the mountains and valley below.

Very nice clean unit with great view. This unit provided very easy access for us older senior citizens. It was very well equipped and had very comfortable beds. A new large screen TV above the fireplace was an added benefit. We would definitely rent this unit again if available on our next stay.

We had a good time on our vacation and honestly and we were not necessarily dissatisfied with the accommodations, but there were a number of things worth noting that other guests should be aware of.
The location and view was EXCELLENT however, being December, all slopes were not open including the lift right outside our building. So ski in ski out was more like an unpleasant 4-5 minute walk in ski boots to get to a running lift/ slope. It was actually easier for us to drive down and park at the base. This is of course no fault to the unit owner/ just a product of weather and when we came but we showed up expecting ski in ski out and it was not.
As for the unit there were NOT adequate supplies and a lot was asked of us to check out especially since we pay a cleaning fee. We were left 2 rolls of toilet paper total for a 5 day stay with 3 guests. Also no extra garbage bags other than 1 kitchen bag. We had to go to the grocery store to buy more things. The ice maker did not work on the fridge and the unit ran out of hot water one day. Upon checkout/ we were asked to remove all trash - which is about a 1/4 mile walk to the trash compactor, clean all dishes and load/ run the dishwasher and strip all beds and place all laundry near the laundry room. I guess when I pay good money for a rental and a cleaning fee - I do not expect to have to do that kind of work while trying to check out. Note- we are not partners or dirty people. Was a little annoying when trying to get out for a long drive home. I guess I’d say I’d recommend the property but to the owners, some of the items above were pretty frustrating and hope you take the comments to heart.

We have been regular skiers for 30 years usually going to ParkCity or Colorado.Our grandchildren age 7 and 9 wanted to learn sking this year.We choose Sugar Mountain as a good place to learn.We arrived just after a good snow storm so plenty of powder.Within a couple of hours both the kids were on the first lifts .Seven year old boy boarding and 9year old girl sking.Within three days both of them coming down the slopes with us.Great experience and a must for beginners.We will return again before we take them out West.

I had a hard time trying to reserve condo, no one answered the phone, I left messages, I was never called back. booked online but got no indication that the booking went through. How to send an email and get a answer that the booking did go through. Sent the signed paper work in twice but it was never received. People at the office were very nice and professional when I get there. Would like to see the pool stay open till 10.

The property is very dated, dark and dingy. The entrance into the building needs to be painted and the carpet replaced as it is all stained. The unit itself was clean but very dated. It needs new bedding, the kitchen dishes were all mismatched and flea market quality and it was dark, dingy and smelled of mildew. We left 5 days early.

We enjoyed watching the skiers get off the ski lift (Omas Meadow lift), and it is a great ski in/ski out location for intermediate and above level skiers and snow boarders (you’ll save the time of driving, parking, walking thru the lot up to the resort, and save a TON a money with not eating at the Sugar Mtn ski resort). We are beginners, so we had to drive to the ski resort (approx 8 min drive.). Despite getting 8 inches of snow during our stay, the roads were plowed first thing and we had no trouble (we have a 4 wheel drive truck.). The kitchen is small, but had what we needed to prepare some simple meals. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

I took three teenagers to Sugar and the condo was perfect, clean, well-maintained. It was a short walk to the open areas and Customer service was great ( thanks Gina!)! We will certainly stay at Sugar again.

If you are planning to do some skiing or boarding on Sugar Mountain, this is the place to stay. At the top of the Oma's Meadow run, with a beautiful view. Can watch the kiddies play in the snow and there is a nice little slope for them to sled/slide down. This room was nicely appointed, and clean. Everything worked as it should and we were very comfortable. 2 couples could stay here easily, or a family of 5 or so. The only critical comment i can make is there is no hot tub or pool, like there used to be. We plan to come back next year though and hopefully they will have rebuilt the pool area.

Went to Sugar Mtn from 2/15-18 2018. Stayed 3 nights at the house, and enjoyed the location very much. The apartment itself however, left some thing to be desired. The furniture wasn't comfortable, and after a long day on the slopes the couch is the most critical part of the recovery. The two chairs are a couple years past "broken in" and the beds could use new mattresses. We also had an issue with the Heat/AC- there was no control inside the unit, and the temperature fluctuated wildly throughout the night. Overall, the location was great but a few updates to the apartment could make this easily a 5 star location.

Had A great vacation, the office staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Looking forward to the construction being complete. I did miss not having a pool and hot tub since we've always used it. Hopefully the construction will be finished by next summer when I return.

We love coming to Sugar Mountain & have stayed at your resort in the past. It was a very nice condo & had everything we needed. The only draw back was the garbage at the dumpster was overflowing. It would be nice, if possible, in the future to have a lift that takes you to the bottom of the mountain for beginners to use. We had a beginner staying with us & was very uncomfortable trying to ski from the top on Oma's meadow to the bottom. We understand that Sugar Mountain country club & the ski resort are not associated, we were just noticing that it would be a nice benefit. It would also be nice to have a bar/club house area to hang out while waiting for your room or friends to hang out while skiing etc.
