An older house with only one bathroom and two small bedrooms.

Easy process. No concerns.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but the cottage had a definite funky dog urine odor that was disappointing. When we tried to open windows to air it out, we found many didn’t open and/or were very dirty. Vacasa said they would consider some kind of refund due to the odor but haven't heard back. The backyard had several old broken chairs and junk piled in a corner which wasn’t very attractive. The inside of the cottage was clean and decorated with a fun vintage beach vibe, beds were comfy, and location was good.

Perfect little getaway. I grew up in Seaside and wanted to bring my adult kids and grandchild here for the 4th. It was a cute cozy house with a great fenced backyard.

Cute quaint house
The proximity of the property for walking was great whether going to the beach or strolling to the shops

There was plenty of stay for our party of 4, lots of towels and extra blankets. We got to put together a brand new puzzle of Seaside that had never been opened and there were lots more to spare. WiFi and TV worked great with no problems.
There were some ants in the kitchen and the back door coming in, the rug was dirty and the open shelving there is rather messy and random. There was a bit of a smell, but with the windows open, it seemed to help. Bring extra toilet paper. We were only left with 3 small rolls of toilet paper for 5 day stay with 4 people…

The cottage could use a lot of work. Electric cords everywhere, I was afraid the place was going to burn down. Cobwebs in every corner and on light fixtures. Not enough blinds. Not the best experience.

The house and location

Comfortable and clean. Walking distance to beach, convention center and Broadway. Took us back to a simpler time when we didn’t need more than a bed, tv, couches, table for games and no nonsense kitchen. Great back yard for dogs - wish it was totally fenced though.

This property was very cute and homey feeling, but has a smell to it. I attribute that to the fact that it’s over 100 years old and the furnace contributes to the smell. Otherwise, it was fine for a weekend stay. It was nice being able to bring our puppy with us!

From the moment we stepped inside and seen the beautiful Decour and coziness of the property. We were very pleased not too far from where we need to be for Christmas, and when we had an issue with the breaker, we had a handyman there very fast to take care of the situation Would stay here again definitely

It is a cute little home. The burner trays are not the right ones for the stove so it makes it hard to cook evenly. Other then that it has great utensils and dishes. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The location was amazing; a block from the beach and super close to all the Seaside attractions, shopping and restaurants.

The rental had not been cleaned or serviced before arrival, other than having to clean up from previous guests the location was great for walking to shops or beach. Won’t be staying with management property again.

This adorable little cottage has so much potential, but needs some updates and better cleaning. The carpet, upholstered furniture, and copious amounts of throw pillows are GROSS. Not only covered in stains and discoloration, but I wondered if they have ever vacuumed under/behind the couch by the window. The heating is a central unit in the dining area, so to have warm bedrooms at night we had to leave the doors open. There were many sugar ants in the kitchen, the property management had set ant traps and stopped by with some spray but it was still a nuisance. The backyard is almost fully fenced, but not (though this was as advertised).
I feel like with a relatively small amount of investment this property could be a total gem! The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach, promenade, and a a park with playground. It also has so much character, we especially love the sun room. However, I wouldn't recommend staying here until some updates are made.

We loved the charm of the house. The house is very old and the wiring seemed unsafe. There was also a musty smell.

Charming old house. Sketchy electricity. Gross carpet, mouse droppings in kitchen cupboards and bedroom drawers.

This place had lots of charm, a comfortable king bed and a great location, just a 10 minute walk from Broadway.
The place could use some electrical work, as we were a little frustrated with outlets working, then not working. We basically just needed to plug in a fan, a c-pap machine and our phone chargers, and had some difficulties. The house is pretty old,so the floors creaked a LOT. Basically the first one up woke everyone else up just going to the bathroom.
Despite the electrical issues and loudness of floors and doors, we enjoyed our stay. I think it's perfect for a family of 4,but not for 2 couples, as the king bed is far superior to the other beds.
A few things that we are accustomed to having provided with a rental that were misssing: cooking spray, Tupperware of some kind and foil. Make a note to bring these things. Not the end of the world, but again, in our experience, these aren't usually things we need to pack.
10 am is early for checkout, but I think this is a Vacasa thing and not specific to this property.

Older cozy cottage with way too many throw pillows!
Rained a lot but we were dry and warm. Short walk to the beach with our dogs. Nice area to visit in October, can’t imagine what it’s like in summer. The cottage had everything we needed.

We loved this bungalow! Very clean and comfortable. Close to main street and promenade. Lots of towels and toiletries available. Plenty of blankets to keep you cozy! We would book this house again in a heartbeat!

Nice place. Price was fair. Neighborhood is great and two blocks from the beach was perfect. It's definitely cozy and dog friendly. Would have been nice to have a fenced in backyard for the pups.

Quaint and Delightful
My husband and I were very pleased with our Vacasa selection of this cozy cottage. We chose it to be near my cousin nearby and couldn't have been more pleased to find such a well appointed place to spend three nights. The kitchen was very well stocked....we didn't need a thing extra other than the food we brought. There was a hairdryer and lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom. The king bed was comfortable (we didn't need the other bedrooms) If we had spent more time at the house we would have enjoyed some of the many books, games and puzzles. Our very favorite part of the house was the sun room which looked out at gorgeous mature rhododendrons. There is a big TV, but we never used it. We did like the gas fireplace, especially on one windy and rainy morning. We plan to reserve this cozy cottage next year when we have another cousin reunion.

Perfect setting for Spring Break!!
Was a really sweet house that was cozy but had enough room for us and 3 teenage girls! Super close walk to beach and downtown made it easy to do family time as well as letting them come and go and hang out without us as well.
This was perfect setting and we will be back!

Seaside in Style
This was a fantastic rental for our family! Very cozy and quaint and dog friendly! Having the 3rd small bedroom was perfect so our teen and tween didn't have to share a room. There were individual heaters in each room which was a nice touch. It's an older home, which adds to the charm, but that means door knobs and outlets can be a bit wonky. Dog owners should also note, it is not a fully fenced yard, but ours don't stray too far from us. This rental had everything we needed and close to beach access. We would stay again!

Great experience for my small family
The house was clean and cozy. We loved being close to seaside downtown area to explore the shops and restaurants. Not having central heat was unique but there were space heaters that kept the bedrooms plenty warm at night.

Seaside
We don't want to be brutal, but the house was not as pictured. Very cluttered and dingy. The deep-down dinginess could not be cured with a coat of paint. We cut our visit short due to the overall condition of the property. It had all the amenities we needed but we just didn't feel "at home" or comfortable here. Others seemed to love it, but it did not meet our expectations.

Good value for an old house
For a rainy November stay, we thought the house was cozy and well appointed. My elderly parents enjoyed their large comfortable king bed however the second bedroom leaves a lot to be desired. The mattress and bed frame need replaced. I ended up sleeping on the day bed, which was comfortable but it’s not really a bedroom. The bathroom had a spacious shower but the sink needed snaking and was super difficult to use. Although I appreciate the vintage nature of the unit, they need a new sink. The chairs and couches were all comfy and had solid WiFi while we stayed. My major difficulty was the furnace is about 50 years old or more and needed replaced and cleaned. Because of the time of year, we needed it and we all struggled with sore throats and headaches. If you don’t have allergies you might be fine but old furnace and a few moldy window sills did me and mom in. There were space heaters provided but we were uncomfortable using them in a house this old since there were not smoke detectors in every room. If the weather was warm, you might love this unit. But not with any allergies.

Not great
Walking up on the porch on my arrival the rug they had there was fifty. The living room furniture is very dirty and uncomfortable. Ants on the kitchen counter. Was told by Vacasa there was a barbecue I didn't find one. This place wasn't for me. If the owners updated a few things it could be cute and comfortable.

Seaside 4th of Juky
The property was enjoyable but had a musty smell and the carpets had animal hair that kept balling up. A few more supplies would have been nice like more TP and paper towels. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the location was great. Also, the lawn needed to be mowed.
