This is such a great home to stay in! Had tons of amenities, right across from a beautiful park and just a short walk to the beach.

This was our second time staying in this unit. Although it’s only one bathroom, the house is cozy and peaceful. The unit has pared down all the decor and it’s looking much less cluttered. I was grateful that the fireplace had directions. We had some challenges with the door lock but Vacasa helped us out and we were able to finish our stay without any issues. My only complaint was that cleaning was rushed and a few things were missed. Vacasa was very responsive and remedying this. Also, note that one of the couches in the living room was replaced and there is no longer a chaise section. This was disappointing for us since that was a selling point. Hopefully they can add an ottoman for us older folks who need to elevate bad knees and ankles. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are pretty comfy. That’s important to note! Also the location is great. It’s quiet but close to town still.

Our family enjoyed this house overall. We loved that the beach was a 3-4 block walk and a short drive to starbucks and Broadway street. Cartwright park is right across the street. My kids loved the playground. A great place to ride bikes & get their wiggles out.

The house is close to the beach and Osprey Cafe for coffee in the morning. The furnishings are very comfortable even though it is a pet friendly home. Loved the fireplace and how this home has been decorated.

This house was so cute and clean, and in a great location! It is dog friendly but does not necessarily have a hard, but it’s right across the street from a big grassy park! The wifi did not work for us, it seemed like the 2 passwords given were wrong, but it did not bother us much!
Definitely will be staying here again.

Stayed while 2 kids in our family were playing in basketball tournament. Was comfortable for our family of 6. A few small items that could have been cleaned better or replaced (worn/stained items), but overall had everything we needed. TV doesn't have the cable option available as listed on the directions but we logged into Netflix just fine and could have used the Firestick if we wanted as well. Guest services and individual employee were so kind to text and ask about our cleaning concerns including offering to come by and do some extra cleaning.

Seashell beach house was a very nice place to stay, very clean, and someone knows their way around decorating, to say the least. The only issue I had was with the ocean facing windows. Yeah, they provide a great view. But with the sun hitting them all day, no matter what the temperature outside, it turns that place into a heater. But if you try to open the windows to cool things down, every bug in the world comes in right after 5. Plus the window are kind of spooky. They open multiple ways and there’s no screens. Just keep your children, pets, and maybe even grandma away.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Seashellhouse and it was a perfect spot for my family and my sister’s family for dinner. The space was bigger than we thought it would be, and everything was clean and stocked. We really enjoyed sitting by the warm fire place to read or watch movies. We had a great few days there and would recommend this place to others!

The location, the home.. its the perfect place. Has everything you need. Was surprised to see spices and pancake mix ! This home is absolutely amazing.. ESPECIALLY if you have pets you're bringing along or small children. There's a park across the street. Can't wait to book this place again next year. Will most definitely be back!!

We had an excellent stay during the two week Christmas holiday. We experienced the unpredictable Oregon winter weather and had some amazing family game nights. Upon arrival we went to the store to pick up Christmas decorations so the house would be festive during our stay (and gifted them to the house for the next holiday season.)
Had ongoing WiFi issues with the internet constantly going out (not weather related just constantly kept going out) which made working remotely or streaming tv very difficult.
It was a great setup for our family and we had a great time

This home has very comfortable beds and all the necessities of a beach house. It's location is great (if you don't mind a 3-5 walk to the beach), as it is across from a park and on a quiet street. It is close enough to the main highway through town, but far enough away from the downtown core to be peaceful at night. It is a 15 minute walk down the promenade to get to downtown which is a great way to take in the views and walk off all that chowder.
The house is way over decorated and all the clutter kinda gets in the way. We found it best to move everything that was breakable (and there was a lot) to the safety of a closet.
The fireplace needs repair. The pilot light needs to be painstakingly lite with a BBQ lighter every time you want to enjoy a fire, which entails removing the front glass, screens, and even a faux log, to get at it. Then fiddling with the knobs, using a sharp tool to manually start the flow of gas, adjusting it once it is on, and then reassembling the whole thing.
Parking is tight, but there is space for 3 cars off the street, and the house is stocked with every game you might need.

We had a relaxing stay in a quiet neighborhood. Our son was able to shoot some hoops while we were there. It was walking distance to go clamming in the morning and walking distance to the promenade.

Cutest beach themed house
This place was so clean and so cute! We had a great time playing ping pong and the large selection of board games was a plus. The beds were super comfortable too! Definitely would stay here again!

Great location/house but housekeeping needs some pointers
We have stayed in this house many times because the location is great, the beds are wonderful, and the fireplace is fantastic! However, this time the house was not adequately cleaned at all: dog hair on the floor, clumps of dog hair under the table, no toilet paper, the windows were filthy, and the fireplace remote was broken. I feel for the owners. I'm not sure we'll be back. We invited our son to Seaside, but he couldn't make it. Now I'm glad because he is allergic to dog hair, and he would have had an allergic reaction to the whole house.

Midweek Getaway
We loved the spaciousness of this home! The king sized bed topper was so comfortable that we both slept well. There was plenty of space to interact with family and have room for our doggie. The management at Vacasa was very responsive to our needs and desires! Great place to relax for a few days.

Loved our stay!
Great place for our family get away. Very comfortable and great neighborhood. Could improve on cleaning pet hairs from rug and pillows but over all loved our stay.
4.0
Very cozy home. Five or six blocks from the beach and across the street from the park. Overall the home was comfortable. It could use a little TLC. The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired with older appliances and a trickle of hot water coming from the faucet. Overall cleanliness was fine. Although it could definitely use a deep clean of the sofas and someone to get under the beds.
