Relaxing break in beautiful surrounding.

It was quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The Annex has all the facilities you require. We were made very welcome. The property was easy to access with parking up close to the door. Continental Breakfast was delivered each morning to our door which was a great start to the day.

Lovely stay, had everything we wanted.

The location and accommodation met our needs perfectly. Quiet place, near to the event we were attending. Lovely room with excellent facilities and a fantastic view. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

A hidden little gem of a place

Fabulous peaceful setting yet easy to find (once you spot the nearby letter box), friendly and very helpful host. The Annex had all the equipment and amenities we could possibly want. Everything was in pristine condition.

We were disappointed to have only booked for 2 nights. It's well worth a longer stay.

Relaxing short stay

Lovely rural location and has a great view. Had everything you could need inside including a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast was fab and dropped off in a basket at the door. Lots of info provided on the local area too for those wanting to know a little more. Will definitely be visiting again.

Only isssue was the GPS location provided through the booking as it took us somewhere else! When you book, message the owner for an accurate address amd post code.

I had a relaxing stay at the annex during a work trip- lots of peace and quiet.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so thoughtfully presented. I love the decor in the annex, the quite garden view and the general peacefulness of the countryside surroundings. The hosts were so kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for a break. I was alone but it is very spacious and would be very suitable for a couple.

There is nothing at all to complain about.

This was great. In a quiet village setting. Great space and good facilities.

Nothing, but if we had stayed longer we might have wanted an oven or hob which it didn’t have.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect little getaway. The view from the room was amazing and the breakfast delivered to the door each morning was just the cherry on top. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying there and are looking forward to returning.

The breakfast was Continental but delicious. There was plenty of it. It was delivered each morning in a beautiful basket. There was granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast with jams and honey, Danish Pastries. All very fresh. We ate these on the patio looking over the garden. There was a small kitchen with a microwave so we were able to have our evening meal on the patio. Nearby was Uncle Henry's cafe and garden shop where we could buy gifts, foodstuffs and meals to takeaway and heat up. The owners were very friendly and lovely to chat with. We enjoyed learning all about their observatory and watching for the wildlife such as hedgehogs, rabbits, and all sorts of birds within a lovely country garden setting, which looked out over a field towards the village parish church beyond. It was quiet and very restful. The accommodation was large and very comfortable.

Lovely and peaceful, loads of wildlife to be seen. Great breakfast and comfy beds. Warm welcome from the owners

It’s remote so you will have to take the car everywhere you go (this is not a negative, just be aware)

A lovely quiet apartment in a rural environment.

The room was super. Colour co ordinated. There was tea, coffee, cake on arrival. Flowers etc. Very thoughtful.

The only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t a mirror so that I could see when drying my hair.

A great stay in a great rural location.

Excellent breakfasts, very comfortable, nice clean modern decor, lovely views over the little valley to the church in the next village.

Electric shower slightly feeble. A washing up sponge for the kitchen area would have been helpful.
