Gorgeous setting and a really lovely little romantic cottage.
There is no phone signal at all. No wifi/ Internet or landline. Not ideal with a little one. Ahh! I actually had to speak to my husband! Plus a heads up we could have dug out some dvds.
I appreciate some people want that... but I certainly didn't.
Little one did, however, learn what a Disco (dvd) is. Lol

loved seeing the cows in the morning. Good location for what we needed. Very quiet and private

The location was very private and quiet - only three holiday cottages, including mine. There was plenty of parking, right in front of the property. The accommodation was small, but didn't feel cramped, and had everything I needed: a well-equipped kitchen, dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair plus an excellent TV (they're usually rubbish, but this had great picture and sound). The bedroom was beautiful, with a huge window looking out over fields. The hosts are so friendly, I'd visit again just for a cup of tea and a chat! I was there to work, but it would be a lovely romantic getaway with a loved one. NOTE: There is no Wifi here and next to no phone signal: some people might be put off, but I welcomed the peace!
The track up to the accommodation had a lot of potholes, difficult to negotiate in my tiny car.

Lovely little cottage. Great for a romantic stay for a couple. The location is stunning and great places to visit are a short drive away.
The only minus point is that there is no phone reception and no wifi!

Such a lovely location. Peaceful, tranquil and so relaxing. The cottage is very well equipped, very cosy and comfortable. Helpful owners.
Maybe the addition of a hairdryer?! But it’s not a big deal!

Great location for Alton Towers, local walks, and great pubs in the surrounding area. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage as it was quiet and the lack of internet access meant we could spend quality time together. A big plus for us.
Nothing.

lovely quiet location and beautiful cottage with outstanding views

Quiet location. The shower was good.
No response to any of the messages left to the host.
On arrival door was open with keys left inside the property. No message or welcome note- we didn’t see anyone throughout our stay.
The cottage was very cold with very little heating on when we arrived and took time ( first night) for the property to warm up. The path to the front door had not been cleaned so it was difficult to avoid wet leaves being brought in and it was very slippery underfoot. There was safety lights at the front of the property but no light to the side door which is the main access point.
Being so near to Christmas I would’ve expected to see some Christmas decorations but there was only a Pontesetta on the coffee table.
I was very disappointed by the lack of phone signal and WiFi. We visited to meet family members but needed to travel into The local village in order to make final plans. This should’ve been made clear prior to booking.

It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely design on the cottage, well thought out. The single room whilst very small is cosy and kind of den like, in that the bed is a bunk bed set in the eaves.
Dimmingsdale nearby was a real treat. There is a town Cheadle c.8 mins drive away with 2 super markets etc.
The lack of internet and phone signal.

The cottage has everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. It is clean and cosy and very comfortable. It is also quiet with an open view. Loved our stay- our second and will probably stay again.
