The studio is so well thought out and cosy with gorgeous views and even outside space. Nothing was lacking.
Parking is an issue. There is only one spot on the drive the rest is on a grassy bank.

Beautiful studio cottage with views to die for! Just far enough into the peaks to have some peace and tranquility whilst also being close enough to many attractions. Absolutely perfect size with great facilities all in one space. Owners very attentive when giving information and details for check in and out. Perfect for our walking holiday and being away from hustle and bustle of life.

Comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities for self-catering. Beautiful views
Central heating tricky to operate as it was on a timer and it was cold and rainy while we weee there. No ventilation so everything got a bit damp inside!

Excellent location, charming accommodation, super-comfy bed, great shower, stunning countryside views and pretty walks straight from the doorstep. Clever use of a compact space.
The bedding felt a bit damp. No issues when we got in it, it was lovely and warm but the bedding felt oddly damp/cold at first

Very nice place. The view from the kitchen and garden is incredible! Upon arrival the heating was off, but the host was there in 5min to fix it and no problems after that. It’s a really nice place. I noticed some people were complaining about the noise of the road but we honestly didn’t think it was that bad. Slept great. Good bed. Would definitely recommend this place.
Nothing serious. Really great place. Only thing that comes to mind is that there’s little parking space. One day we got back late and all the parking spaces where full and we ended up parking it in front of the house. But really nothing to not book this place I’d say, we had a great stay

A lovely location with excellent walks close by, a great base to explore the Peaks. Cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.
Can't say there was anything not to like.

Very quiet location. Private entrance and lovely outlook. Excellent communication from the host. Beautifully decorated. Well equipped for the size of the property.
We didn't find the bed or the pillows very comfy.

Check in so easy with key in the lock box at the front door. We loved EVERYTHING! So much so we asked the owners if an extra night was available, unfortunately it was booked, so whoever you are I hope you had a wonderful time too :) location was perfect! Short drive to Leek, Buxton, Bakewell, Dovedale to name a few... Indoor and outdoor space was perfect for a couple! I cannot wait to go back! Everything you could ever need in the kitchen plus more! Choice of 2 outdoor seating areas.. Someone kindly left kindling and firelighters so we repaid the favour with our left overs. Greyhound pub owners are delightfully friendly as was the locals that spoke to us.. and short drive to Hartington we had a glorious 3 course meal at the Devonshire Arms and breakfast at the farm shop. You must book here if you want to escape from real life and just enjoy a peaceful life and spend some quality time together :) :) thank you so much Liza and Norman.. il speak to you again this year xx
Absolutely nothing, there is genuinely nothing not to like ! Little tip if the weather is bad, swap the patio furniture with the garden furniture and then you can still enjoy outdoor time in the rain, but will be covered with the parasol without muddy feet ;) the view from the patio is too good to let a thunder storm ruin anything 😀

Lovely location. Really cosy. Had everything we needed.
If I was to be really picky I would say the towels are a little small and I would recommend bringing your own but that’s certainly not a deal breaker!

Loved the location and the facilities!
No kitchen scissors and the knives were blunt....but otherwise a very well equipped kitchen.

Beautiful location, views to due for
. Sat out side most of the time

The location was perfect being close to many footpaths.
The wifi was strong enough for me to work remotely.

What a little gem. The location of the studio is fabulous - it is in driving distance of every walk possible. (We walked over 20 miles)
The views from the studio is amazing. Every morning we seen the little lambs in the fields. The studio itself is small but has everything you need for a few days stay.
The studio could do with a deep clean in terms of cobwebs and dust on the lamp shades.
We didn’t understand how the heating worked - the first day we arrived it was freezing and we could not get the heating on (we use nest at home). The next day when it was sunny, the heating had been on all day whilst we was out walking.
The garden could also do with a little tidy up - however very pleasant to sit outside and take in the views.

Thor’s View cottage is a lovely cosy place to stay. The facilities are excellent: everything has been thought of, the kitchen is very well appointed for example and the shower room and roll top bath in the bedroom are gorgeous. It is just like a home from home, and the views from the kitchen are incredible. It’s in a lovely village a few minutes walk from a great pub. There are dog walks right on the doorstep too. The owners of the cottage are lovely helpful people and had even left us a card and cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was the purpose of our trip. We absolutely fell in love with the cottage!
This is not the fault of the cottage but there is a road right outside the cottage (beyond a little gate) that is 30 miles an hour limit but is not far from where the speed reverts to 60 miles an hour limit. Consequently, every car speeds past at nearer 60 miles an hour than 30 and it’s quite disconcerting. Our dog hated it! Thankfully, there is a little gated area to separate the front door from the road, so the dog can’t run out onto the road but my heart was in my mouth every time a vehicle sped past as we came and went from the cottage.

Beautiful place. Tiny, cosy cottage with everything you could need.

The cottage was very clean and tidy and was well equipped. It was really comfy and cosy and great to come back to after a days walking.
Some of the light bulbs on the lights did not work.

The location was lovely, easy access to lots of walks and little towns. It was lovely to wake up to a gorgeous view of the countryside. The room was charming, only thing to mention is that the sofa was broken before we access the room but we didn’t mind. The host offered to have it fixed for us but we were happy to use the room without it.
The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need from pots and pans to little food bags! The horses have thought about everything you need.

Amazing location with beautiful views, cosy, spacious little studio with beautiful features inside and a cute little patio and garden. The pub a very short walk from the property was very welcoming with amazing food. Overall would highly recommend for a romantic cosy time away. The Christmas decorations were a lovely added touch!
