Location was brilliant. Accommodation very suitable for our group (grandparents plus one grandchild).
It would have been useful to have some SMALLER bowls, plates and dishes - especially in view of the small size of the table. Also a few containers to put leftover food, butter, etc. in the fridge. Otherwise, well equipped.
4.3
It was warm when we arrived. She supplied biscuits!
The shower seemed to only have one temperature, scorching!
4.3
The apartment was spotless, comfortable and within such easy reach of the sea, just a very short stroll away. Would be ideal for. a longer stay as so well equipped.
4.3
Central location. Pretty interior.
The walk to long stay parking is up a steep hill but there is a lovely walk down to the sea wall with amazing views and fossil hunting opportunities on the beach.
Kept awake until 3am+ by the church bells which ring on the hour, on the quarter and half hour. In the dead of night when on the sofa bed where the window is single glazed this becomes a real problem. The sound blends into the traffic noise during the day. Understand in the main bedroom this is not such a problem as the window faces towarde the sea. I am used to complete silence at home so perhaps this would not be a problem for others. A shame because otherwise this is such a pretty property with good facilities and very clean. Some items of furniture are a little tired.

A charming seaside one bed flat , very clean and well location
No parking facility makes it tough for little kid
4.3
A very convenient almost seaside apartment in Lyme Regis, it met all our expectations for the one night we stayed. The host is very helpful and an excellent communicator, and is equipped with everything you may need for one night.
I cannot think of anything I would not like. It had a small wardrobe but for us and our needs was ok.
4.3
beautiful flat in a lovely location. The facilities were brilliant and they even had some biscuits on arrival. will definitely book again.

Location
Sofa bed uneven, no on-site parking and my car was damaged in the recommended public car park.
4.3
Great compact one bedroom flat. Fantastic size bathroom.
Sofa bed comfortable but it is a tight squeeze in the living room, when in use.
Kitchen fully equipped, beautiful furnishings & seaside design.
4.3
Comfy bed, close to sea and shops, bright and airy, clean, has character
Shower too hot, noisy from live music in pub next door, no curtains - just metal blinds - so never had darkness.

The flat was lovely - bright, comfortable and clean. It was very spacious for two people. All essentials were provided, such as towels, spare blankets, loo rolls, hand wash and washing up liquid. Michelle was very helpful in the lead up to our visit and left us tea, milk and biscuits in the kitchen. The location of the flat was perfect-a short walk to the sea front and to the main high road. The whole area was old, quaint and very pretty with lots of small cafes, restaurants and gift shops as well as useful small supermarkets. We had a fantastic couple of days there. The flat was next door to the Teddy bear hospital which was the key objective of our trip, but Lyme Regis has loads to offer, including a small microbrewery pub.
The whole flat is very bright and sunny and there were no black out blinds in the bedroom. So suggest visitors bring an eye mask if you get woken by early morning daylight. Also be mindful that the roads in the centre of Lyme Regis are very old, narrow and busy. The flat does not have any allocated parking. We opted to travel by train to Axminster and we took a bus from there to Lyme Regis, which worked out well.

Host was very accommodating and set up dinosaur balloons and decorations before our arrival for my son's birthday, property was lovely very clean tidy and has everything you would want, would definitely stay again
4.3
The location was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped. The washing machine and drying rack were clutch. Big shower. The unit was cozy and roomy and very clean. The host communicated promptly.
The mattress was not very comfortable. Also, the parking was a bit of a hassle, with the paid lot being located up the street. The temporary parking at the flat was a bit of a challenge to maneuver with our luggage.
4.3
Great location, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped.
Blinds in bedroom very flimsy and let in the light. Bit of an issue with the streetlights right outside. Think some blackout blinds needed.
4.3
Couldn't fault anything! I will definitely recommend it and come back soon.

Was lovely to have essentials there for us, and the communication was excellent

It would be good to have a book giving some local details for shops, restaurants etc., one that guests could write in their experiences of local facilities. We just managed to get into a restaurant in the evening but it would be useful to know that booking is probably required.

Only a couple of minutes walk to the seafront and close to all the bars and restaurants,
Bed was super comfy and was told the sofa bed was just as good.
Superb bathroom with an amazing shower
Nothing, had a wonderful stay

The location was great. It is very close to the center and the beach.
4.3
Clean, comfortable apartment.
Single glazing meant flat was very noisy - road, wind, church bells etc.
4.3
An amazing place that gives you home comfort.
Clean and has everything you need.
I can't say anything other than what a great time we had at Lyme Regis and because of the location and comfort of this little apartment we had an unforgettable experience.
There isn’t such a thing 😃

The location was great, all the facilities were good and the shower was fantastic!
We did get a bit cold, could have done with the heating being on longer in the eve and earlier in the morning but am absolutely aware of current energy costs!
4.3
Beautiful little apartment in the heart of Lyme Regis. Lots of character - Lovely views over the church (I think the one where you can find Mary Anning's grave if you are interested in fossil hunting history!)- Beautifully presented and very comfortable - We loved the turret! The bathroom is gorgeous, fantastic bath and shower - , the bed was very comfortable - It was easy to get in and lovely to have some welcoming tea, coffee and biscuits - A short walk to the front, the Mill on Combe Street and the shops in Broad Street. We ate at the very gorgeous Lilac Winebar in Broad Street, which was fabulous. Excellent value - would highly recommend
We struggled a bit with working out the temperature on the shower.

The Gables was perfect for our mini break. It was welcoming, comfortable, cosy and clean. We loved eating our fish and chips with a sea view! Our four and eight year old slept soundly on the cosy sofa bed. Thank you so much Michelle, we hope to return soon.
4.3
It was clean and tidy
WE HAD NO SLEEP! Light from outside lamp shines in property all night; just thin white blinds - black out curtains needed. Church clock chimes every 1/4 hour ALL NIGHT … and due to thin singles glazed windows was very noisy. All pillows lumpy. Vintage bed squeaks with every movement. Bathroom heated rail set to such a high temperature I burnt my leg.
4.3
The location and view of the church across the street.

So comfy bed and cosy homely
apartment with lovely character building. Also lovely viewing in morning. Slept really well and didn’t want leave the apartment! thank you so much. The owner was so helpful in communicating too.
