Perfect place to stay! Close to Cedar Point, Rye Beach (private/included with house rental), Lighthouse, and many other great beaches and parks. Property was properly maintained. Comes with everything you need to be comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Only bad thing I could say is SPIDERS! Not fault of property owners. Huge spiders outside living on the beautiful deck. Bring bug spray if visiting during warm months. Other than that I would recommend this place to anyone. Cheers!

This rental is nicely decorated, very clean and well supplied with everything you need. It was actually more cost effective than a hotel and conveniently located. Communication with the host was great and detailed instructions were very helpful. Highly recommend!

This was a great alternative to a hotel as we were in town for my nieces volleyball tournament. Loved that it was pet friendly with a fenced yard. The short was to the water was awesome!

Property needs a new fridge and a few things upgraded and repaired but discussed with the host and was assured it would be taken care of immediately.

Great for a short stay, located in a quiet neighborhood by the lake, and very clean. The smell of the beddimg and towels and blankets was luxury itself! Had to make a note of the laundry detergent! House had everything as described and comfortable. Small, fenced in garden was very well maintained. Host was very responsive. The only suggestions we'd make is to replace the front door so it's solid and fits into the frame better. There were significant gaps btw the door and the frame so was drafty and didnt feel.particularly secure. Also, beautiful bathroom but the bath/shower handle came right off and half 9f us didnt shower. My final suggestion is to maybe leave some tea, coffee, sugar, and creamers so that travelers can have a warm drink on arrival or at breakfast. Overall, though, great for our needs, relaxing, lovely and pretty neighborhood, very responsive owner. Thank you for letting us stay at your property! Would recommend!

My family had such a great time. The house was clean, neighborhood was cute, so much room for all of us and we loved the patio area. So close to all the attractions we enjoyed. Would stay again, lovely place.

We had a blast staying here. Loved checking out the local parks for hiking and getting coffee in Huron. The house is small but was perfect for our group. We didn’t use the outdoor amenities at all. Nice parking in front of the house for multiple cars.

Very cute little house close to Kalahari. Owner was easy to work with and allowed us to check in early. Very responsive also.

The property was clean and just as it looked on Vrbo; however, the back two bedrooms beds were comfortable but squeaked every time you moved. Perhaps an easy fix but nothing we could correct after a long day in the park. It overhaul is worth the money for just how close it was to Cedar Point and very clean. Would rent again.

This house was the perfect house for our weekend get away. It was just the right size for us. It also allowed dogs and even had a fenced in area for them. Walking distance from Lake Erie.

The house was spotless and had everything we needed. A few issues with WiFi and had to reset the router everyday, but had lock issues and the issue was resolved in a hurry. Thanks so much.

After riding our bikes 100 miles for charity, it was the perfect place to relax and refresh before Sunday's ride back to Cleveland. Great place!

We had the best time!!! We travelled from Virginia to Ohio just to visit Cedar Point Amusement Park. With that being said, the housing location was phenomenal--just 10 minutes away from the park! The house was perfect for our stay...accommodated the five of us without flaw.

The cottage was very nicely decorated and clean. It has everything you would need for your stay from bath towels to beach chairs and a fire pit to roast smores on. The outdoor deck although long and narrow was very comfortable for a family of 8! We spent a majority of our time on the patio deck. The neighborhood was very calm and friendly and the private beach was easy to walk to within 5 minutes and just big enough to get your toes wet. It is very rocky. The playground was clean and kids loved it but no bathroom facilities, water or trash cans. If your looking for a day long beach day Nickel Plate beach is very close driving distance. The only downside of the house was the railing to the small backyard firepit area, it is just a board hanging unsupported and not too safe for the elderly or kids.We would recommend this house and would definitely go back!

Loved it
Loved this cute and cozy little house. It was perfect for our family! Very clean and nice neighborhood. Everything was in great working condition. Had plenty of towels and all kinds of other things even extra spices for cooking. Loved the close by park and beach area! Definitely didn’t want to leave. Totally recommend this house for a cozy getaway!

Location is awesome, Communication Horrible
Let me start by saying the house itself is beautiful! So clean and spacious. It had all of these little homey touches, including a washer and dryer. The location was super convenient to Cedar Point and the water front. Easy to get to the highway as well. Beds super comfortable as well.
The problem was communication with the host. We had an issue with the front door lock. You cannot lock the front door from the outside The electronic deadbolt would not lock. We had to use a side door and lock the front from the inside. We reached out to our host at the beginning of our stay, and we never heard back from him. I noticed while cooking in the kitchen that the smoke detector wasn't blinking. We tested it, no batteries! Neither smoke detector in the house had batteries. I am not certain that the carbon monoxide detector worked either. Thank goodness we didn't have an issue that required either of these things.

It’s ok
We felt uncomfortable in that neighborhood so decided to just get a hotel and leave early. We spent one night there woke up to no internet ( so no steaming or use of our personal devices) and I had 3 kids under the age or 11. It was winter so nothing for them to do or see. We ended up getting a room someplace else.

It was nice but small.
Small, but decent place if you are just using it as a base for travel, or have small kids. Clean interior. Rooms fit queen bed with little space to spare. Beds seemed to be memory foam and some liked while others did not.
Houses are very close together, so it on the deck, you had little privacy.
Upon entrance, there was a noticeable smell, as if it had been shut up for some time. Luckily there were some Glade air fresheners which I liberally sprayed on the couches and bedrooms. The odor dissipated or we got used to it, but it wasn't an issue for the rest of our stay. The 4 kiitchen chairs were uncomfortable high tops, so no way for more than 4 could be seated for breakfast. The seating in the Living room was for 6 adults max and coffee table was a little too high to use as a food rest with everyone seated.
It was chilly but we did hang out on the covered deck. There as bird wire, but it didn't deter the birds. There was dropping everywhere especially on the stacked chair. The cleanliness got dinged for that and the absolutely dirty table and chairs outside. It took a lot spray cleaner and paper towels to make it suitable for use. There was no broom available to clean the dropping either.
Things to note. No firewood for fire ring or propane for grill provided. Have heard of bringing firewood, but not propane, so be aware.
Bring a griddle if you plan on pancakes as there are no larger skillet.
Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as the supplied items were not very nice. Towels were nice and abundant.
Great playground for kids. Park was in disrepair (broken benches) dock was closed due to damage?
Dog owners: There are no gated area for your dog, nor soft rug if your pup is spoiled like ours. So bring leashes, a tie-off and a cot or bed. We walked around the neighborhood several times.
Overall, it was okay as a base, but I would recommend limiting to 4 Adults with or without children if you are planning to spend much time there.

Nice Getaway
Cute house, charming, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Loved our visit to Rye Beach Park. We would love to go back for a longer visit. There is so much to see in the surrounding area.

Beautiful get away
What a beautiful home! The interior was straight out of a magazine right down to the throw pillows! It has everything you need, its spotless, and comfortable. Close to the Cedar Point Amusement Park. We took a short drive to Put In Bay which is gorgeous. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to family emergency so thats all I can review. I do however suggest fencing in the backyard so its a little easier for your pets to get a bit of exercise.

Nice Stay
The place was smaller than expected, but was still great. Only have two complaints 1. there was some dog hair still on the couches when we arrived 2. there was only one (awful) skillet, so our plans of making breakfast was ruined

Everything was cozy with inviting decor. Plenty of space indoors for my family and grandchildren to play games, cook our meal, and sleep in comfortable beds. I loved the covered patio with a gas grill, tv, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It was easy to check in, and any communication with Jimmy was answered quickly. I would definitely return the next time my family wants to go to Cedar Point. Very close!Debbie
