Location was wonderful - nice to be on the water. The photos need to be updated outside. Furniture and kitchen supplies need to be upgraded - Need to fix the floor in the bedroom - could use a ladder on the dock for kayaking and paddle board - but a very nice place to do all those activities:) I would go back!

Fantastic pet friendly house close to the Bay Bridge. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely consider staying here again, but will make sure to stay longer.

I was in town for the great Chesapeake bay swim. The house is in a great location, very close to the bridge and a short drive into town. The house was well equipped, clean, and as described.

Very much just felt like home. Beautiful location. Quiet and relaxing.

The house is cute and comfortable, as we expected. The living room furniture could use some updating but everything was as pictured so no surprises. My daughters and I were impressed with the beautiful flower pots on the patio and the nice landscaping. View of the peaceful water and herons flying by was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Very pleasant place!

We really enjoyed our stay. House is very nice and clean. Backyard is beautiful. We really liked staying so close to the creek. This was a very comfortable stay. Close to Annapolis. Not much fishing, but otherwise everything was great!

I was pleasantly surprised with the ample seating both in and outside the home. I thought the home could offer more standard amenities, however, given the price. For example, i couldn’t find an iron nor steamer for clothing, and the can opener was quite outdated and not functional. Otherwise.l, it was cozy and comfortable & the serene setting out back can’t be beat.

The home is cute and was a perfect fit for our family of 5. We enjoyed the private back yard and private dock. It was all the amenities of home, away home. Bonus - Sandy Point State Park is only 5 min away!

Long weekend to see son/grandson and our extended family. This super cute, super clean cottage is just what we were looking for - equipped w/ fishing poles, crab cages and board games, great beds. Beautiful View - just plain relaxing
we will definitely be back.

We just loved it. Home was clean, perfect size for our family of 5, and the location was just wonderful. We enjoyed our coffee on the dock. The boys loved the nights fishing. It’s our first visit to Annapolis and we will definitely be back!

This is more of a beach cottage than a waterfront home, and as a cottage it had its limitations. The so called 3rd bedroom was a cold bunk bed affair, accessed off the 2nd bedroom. The house was very cold on the bedroom side, and each bedroom had supplementary electric heaters. There is no master , the 1 bath was adequate. The kitchen was well sized and well stocked. The living room featured former exterior furniture plus a couch. The TV and Channels available were good. Overall, this seems an experiment in finding out how much you can get for so little invested. If so, for us, that experiment failed.

The property is perfect for a visit to the Annapolis area with a dog. Comfortable and much larger than expected. The property is close to Sandy Point State Park which is a delightful place to visit. Dogs are permitted in the park (on a leash) after October 1, so our timing was perfect.

I have been crabbing since a child never have caught crabs this big!!point to point 8 inches, claw to claw over 18 inches, monster sized blue claw crabs!! 2 1/2 days caught full bushel basically by myself

it was a pretty nice place, like I said above it needs to be deep cleaned by a professional service, the bedroom with bunk beds is cold, cold air blowing under front door needs a new threshold seal can see outside, it is wasting a lot of heat in the winter and i'm sure air conditioning in the summer

Relaxing cozy home
We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very comfortable with nice amenities like cable tv and fast internet. The location was very peaceful and quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the back patio making s'mores on the back porch at night with a fire. Beds were comfortable and John was a very responsive host. Would book here again.

Great little house, perfect for a family of four. Clean and comfortable, the AC was amazing.
We explored Annapolis, DC, six flags, the local beaches and spent every morning and night on the dock. While the pots were old and beat up we filled them with chicken necks and razor clams, used some rope to tie the doors shut and caught about 2 dozen crabs. Fishing and line crabbing was also fun.
John came by shortly after we checked in and after showing us the dock he went back out and returned with the a bag chicken necks and a live pot (which was put to great use).

This place is wonderful. So peaceful and also very close to everything. The one thing that stood out was the owner, he called us twice to make sure that everything was ok. He recommended several places for us to go and they were outstanding.

Great Location with lots of potential
The location of this property and ambiance is excellent but the home itself leaves a lot to be desired. The home has so much potential if it was properly maintained. Upon arrival we noticed a large puddle at the main entrance
caused by the condensation line of the air conditioner which was hard to avoid stepping in, especially with kids. Once inside, the entire home was musty, dusty and hardly acceptable for the price. My wife and I looked for cleaning supplies but most of them were just empty bottles, and not a broom or vacuum in sight. After cleaning up the place a little and noticing some water damage and just plain neglect of the property my wife was ready to leave. I convinced her to stay and sold her on the water front view. The linens provided were still in the dryer and permanently stained. The shower was filthy and had to be scrubbed before use, that is when we noticed the odor of the water. The water has a strong odor similar to rust or blood (very Iron/metallic). We opted to use bottle water for brushing our teeth and all cooking uses. If you have an issue with normal outdoor bugs this isn't the place for you. There is no seal around many of the windows or doors, which leave a large noticeable gap and an easy entrance for uninvited pests. Like I said, the location is great and the place has a lot of potential. If the owner did some minor repairs, updates and found a cleaning crew that actually cleans I would be here every weekend!

We are a family of 6. Myself, my husband and our 4 teenagers. We were not sure how we would all fit but this home was actually pretty perfect for our stay. We are a family that loves playing games and watching movies together so the spacious living room area worked nice for us.. The view outback was beautiful and we loved using the fire-pit. The home had a faint smell to it (since it’s an older home) but nothing a couple of candles can’t take care of :) I was not a fan of the Grauls Market but there was a Trader Joe’s amd Target Superstore nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to visit again in the future!

We wanted a quick getaway from DC during the holidays with our kiddos. We love the backyard of this bungalow and the proximity to Sandy Pointe Beach. The property owner was very nice as well. It is well stocked for cooking. However, it is an older home and so, for us, it was freezing at night. (We were there in winter). There are space heaters in some of the rooms, but we just don't like leaving those on at night with kids around. Also, the bathroom was a little rough, with the tub being stained to a point that we didn't even put the kids in it. It felt clean, but it definitely could use some updates to make it comfier. The water is also very smelly-- weren't sure why--but we used bottled water to brush our teeth. We suspect this is a great find in summer when you're not in the house as much and you can take full advantage of the outdoor views and space. We did love the fire pit though! They even left us logs and a bottle of wine--which was really good. Thanks!

The refrigerator was full of food products left from the previous renter(s). This was peculiar considering the rental instructions ask that all perishable foods be removed upon check-out. This obviously was not checked by the cleaning staff.
Though this was certainly a red flag, we set about unpacking our bags. Upon deciding on our bedroom of choice, I entered the master bedroom, pulled back the covers and discovered that there was a reddish brown stain on the sheets. After this discovery, I alerted my family, and we gathered our things and left the property.
To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. I selected this property based on the Evolve Vacation Rental team's professed commitment to professionalism, customer service, and cleanliness. The latter being especially important in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The cottage was cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The backyard...the view and access to the water was stunning. My kids fished, crabbed and just played outside. We also enjoyed a wonderful night around the fire pit. The owner is friendly and is quick to respond to any inquiries or issues that may arise. Location was perfect from Annapolis. Are only regret, not staying longer!
