Fire pit, house, all of it.

Cabin and outdoor space are perfect for the area and access to the park.

This cabin was in a perfect and convenient location for our Acadia trip! It was nice to have a kitchen. It was SO nice to have a washing machine-especially after several days of traveling. We ended up drying our clothes down stairs as we couldn't quite get the dryer to work (probably something we did wrong) Since it was just a few things, it wasn't a problem.
It had been raining, however we were still able to enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces to eat outside. The living room had tons of space! The stairs to get to the bedroom and bathroom are very narrow, but we managed our suitcases just fine and were careful going up and down (hence the 4 stars). We would definitely stay here again!

All the trails of Acadia are at your doorstep. 5 minutes to Jordan Pond! Nice quiet street, 2 minutes from a beach. Can walk right on to the carriage roads. But could use a new couch, better mattress. Table and cabinets are very basic.

the location to Acadia National Park was great, less than 2 miles from Jordan Pond House. The house also had good kitchen appliances and good shower.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and cozy cottage among the maple trees, which were shedding their lovely yellow foliage all around us. We have usually camped at Blackwoods when visiting Acadia, but at age 70 decided it's time for a cabin. We were so thankful NOT to be in a tent because of heavy rains during our stay! In better weather we would have spent more time outside, eating meals on the deck or sitting at the firepit. Children could have a great time climbing around the hillside. The steep staircase to the second floor takes careful navigation, but it has a good railing. Had a nice, hot bath in the modernized bathroom.

It was very quiet here the whole stay, yet close to pretty much everywhere we wanted to visit. This tiny house was just the right size for just my wife and I. The kitchen was loaded with utensils/bowls/plates/coffee maker/etc...which came is handy as we both like to cook. We saved a bunch of money by making our own breakfast/lunch....the stairs could use non-slip strips as they are steep & narrow.

I loved this tiny home! It had everything we needed! You can’t beat the location! 4 minutes from the entrance of Acadia, and 10 minutes from the popular restaurants of Bar Harbor. Having the box fan was a life saver! My ONLY suggestion would be to have a dehumidifier as the upstairs can get a little stuffy. I would recommend this place over and over again. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the home, they are genuinely nice and so helpful. Can’t say enough good things.

Nice place for single person stay
Nice little place only a few minutes from Jordan Pond House. Even though it's in a crowded area not much noise at all during the night. Did not see anyone working in the yard like others have mentioned (but I would only be there during the night anyway). Only issue I had was not having directions on the washing machine/dryer. Had to look up what the drying setting was online.
I would recommend this place for 1-2 people max, it is a very small place, and stairs in the house are a little steep so be careful.

Property listing showed 3 ocean views, implying that was the view from the property. WRONG! Not even near the water. Total ripoff. I would never use your website again.

My experience was that I wasted my money. I have no confidence this review will even post, as I have respectfully tried to post an accurate review (which was negative). I should have k own something was fishy when there was no picture of the front door and only 2 reviews. 1 of those was negative which has since been removed. I’m sure mine will be too. Waste of mo way and I won’t be using Vacasa again.

Great little place
The place is a little challenging to find, but very clean (minus a few dead bugs). There is no AC and only one window on each floor has screens, so it was a little warmer than we’d have liked. The bathroom is much smaller than it looks but is very nice, the towels were super soft. I was glad to see the kitchen was stocked with dishes, silverware, pans, etc., with plenty of cleaning supplies, paper towels, and toilet paper on hand. The stairs in this unit are very steep, which made for some harrowing moments. The outdoor spaces are very cute though we didn’t use them, and the area is very quiet and convenient. I would recommend this place for couples without children and small-medium dogs. My two main issues were a) no window screens and no fan and b) none of the window blinds can be lowered, which gives a sense of utter lack of privacy.

We loved being so close to Acadia and being able to bring both of our dogs! The house was super clean and quiet. It’s a small house, but for outdoor enthusiasts, you don’t spend much time inside anyway- so it suited us well!

To start, the description of the property is wrong. I arrived during the day, and was still led to the wrong cabin. A call with customer service for assistance was no help. The house is not the last cabin on the road, it’s the second to last and tucked behind other houses. It would be a better description to say how many houses the property is from the fire station, for example. There should also be a picture of the outside of the cottage so guests know what it even looks like when trying to find it. Upon arrival, there are instructions on the fridge INCLUDING that there may be someone working on the yard. This listing should be listed as under construction, and that the yard may have someone working in it. I would have booked a stay in a hotel somewhere with a cleaner and more up to date amenities if I had known someone was going to be in my yard for my entire stay. I booked this trip with dogs, so it was frustrating that I could not even let my dogs outside to use the bathroom, I had to walk them down the road because there was someone in the yard, who never even introduced himself to us so I HOPE he was some kind of property manager? There was no privacy at this house in the yard, which is key for a stay with dogs. Don’t waste your money on this cottage, you mine as well book a stay at a hotel over this cottage. Was fairly clean, there was a missing drawer in the kitchen and holes in the couch. Was in a nice location and yard has potential so I understand work is needed, but on Sunday at 8 am we shouldn’t wake up to someone in our yard drinking their coffee, who was there all Saturday as well.
