The house was great for us. Right on the bay so we could watch the water come and go. Away from the highway so it was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

This home is on a peaceful spot at the end of the canal. Fascinating watching the water ebb and flow. beautiful scenery, located near enough to Port Townsend and hiking areas. Home is immaculate and great separation of space despite being modest sized. Kitchen amenities and view are enviable!

So peaceful!
The house was great. Since the weather was unusually cool, we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the wood stove in the living area.

Love it!
Chris was a great host, very nice & good communication. The house was very clean which is what I look for when renting. Everything you need for a homey stay is there. The view is beautiful even in the rainy weather we had. Overall, very nice stay and would definitely stay here again. :)

Serene surroundings - quiet comfortable stay
All good things - lots of pots and pans. clean verything. Awesome views of mountain and bay. kids found crabs in the mud. mud during low tides did not look safe. sign says so too. Had a small hiccup at check-in but manager promptly helped only after 4pm check-in time. no biggie. very quiet week. internet speed quite good - we could get work done comfortably while the kids explored. lots of board games in stock too.

Great location and a very well maintained home
We booked this location looking at the photos and it turned out to be better! The location is cut off from the noise and busy city life. The living room and both the bedrooms open up views to the water. The house itself is very well maintained and cared for. We enjoyed our stay and will likely return.
The only pain point was the checkout time of 10 AM. With a toddler it becomes difficult to wrap everything up by 10. If it can be extended at least by an hour that would be much appreciated.
Overall a wonderful location and a fantastic place to unwind.

Windows on the World
We stayed 2 nights at this amazing house. A wall of windows overlooks the water of Dabob Bay and the view is truly stunning. We had 2 days of relentless rain and it didn't matter. We watched the moods of the bay and surrounding hillsides change by the minute. Clouds and fog moved in and out. Ducks peppered the water and added to the changing scenery. The kitchen is set up to let you prepare great meals. The sleeping arrangements are comfy and ever-so-quiet. On our day home, the sun popped out and we snuck in a hike along the Big Quilcene River trail. I am eager to return and experience this magical place again - to unwind and enjoy life.

Serenity
My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at East Bay Retreat. The home was exceptional for its cleanliness and the amenities were top-notch. It had everything needed to feel like home away from home. It felt like great love went into creating this space for guest. I'm contemplating making this an annual getaway! Thanks Christine 😊

Absolutely Perfect
Spent two weeks in Quilcene visiting our son, everything here was just perfect.
Super clean, well stocked kitchen ~ enjoyed using the gas grill, well stocked laundry room, comfy beds ~ fluffy towels, fresh flowers greeted us as did a tray of snacks, "thanks". Spent some of our down time outside enjoying the gorgeous views of the bay and the mountains. We will be back ~ thanks for sharing this wonderful location with us. It was a pleasure to meet you and chat with you.

Heaven on earth
Breathtaking is the only word to describe the view from this home. And it changes every 2 seconds. I've never taken so many pictures of the same scene in my life.

Awesome location
We had a great time watching the seals, eagles and ospreys in the bay. We were able to paddle board straight off the property at high tide which the kids enjoyed. The house is really nice with big windows that let in a lot of light and allow to enjoy the cows of the bay. All this in a very quiet area. This was great to relax after a day out hiking in the Dosewallips or the Dungeness areas.

Peaceful getaway for family
House was comfortable and in great condition. Lots of games in new condition to play as a family. The view of the bay and watching osprey was stunning. The bay is muddy when tide is out so not a place for kayaking or swimming.
