My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this location. Nice walk to the downtown center square where there are good restaurants and shops.
Recommended if your travels take you to downtown Roanoke.

I stayed for 13 days and found everything to be just perfect. The location is terrific, parking is easy (and close to unit), and very quiet considering the unit is downtown. The apartment itself is decorated beautifully and has comfortable furniture. I highly recommend this rental.

We stayed 2 nights. Nice place. Great location to walk to downtown. Comfortable place.

Was smaller than I thought but nice. TV issues, most channels were in a foreign language.

Conveniently located close to the center of town, this little condo was located in a restored apartment building and was full of charm with the original floors and high ceilings. Tastefully decorated and very clean. I would put the noise level at about a 2/10 scale with an occasional siren (the hospital is located a few blocks away) and a “rush hour” of a few minutes. I especially loved looking at the two large Japanese maples located in the courtyard. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again!

Able to book the condo for a long weekend for a special wedding. Everything was perfect.

All the comforts of home while you are away. Pleasant first level area to rest after a long day hiking the area. Loved the convenience of the location. Within walking distance of the city and a short drive for whatever you want to do in the area.

Convenient to lots of cool stuff. We walked to restaurants and museums. Also close to greenway. Has everything you need. Host was available quickly when we had questions. The bed is FIRM. It was fine for us but just be aware. Overall a great visit.

Well appointed quiet, space. Close to downtown and an easy drive anywhere else. I managed to lock myself out, and the owner and his management company helped me get in promptly. Will be back!

Cute and cozy apartment within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed. The only negative is that when we stripped the sheets and mattress cover to pile them up for laundering, as instructed, there was a large yellow stain on the mattress. Pretty gross to find after you’ve slept on the bed for two nights. The pillows and mattress cover should have waterproof covers on them and the mattress needs professionally cleaned. Also a box of at home drug tests in the bathroom which was odd. I get that people leave things behind, but a little more attention to detail when cleaning and prepping would be nice.

I couldn't be happier with my stay. The property is in a great location convenient to so many wonderful downtown restaurants. The apartment is beautifully furnished (with furniture that is actually comfortable, lol) and sparkling clean. I was so happy with my initial week that I extended by another.

Beautiful historic property in downtown. Great location, and nice space to stay. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and it was well supported by the property manager. Check in and out was easy. Will stay here again next time in Roanoke.

Our stay was excellent. Everything was as promised, very clean and just what we needed for our weekend. We heard loud cars/ motorcycles a couple of times but it was brief and to be expected in the city. We were unsure if the bedside table lamps were intentionally left without bulbs or maybe an oversight. Neither of these things are deal breakers. Loved our stay and location. We had everything we needed. Definitely keep it in mind for future use. Thanks

Easy check in and check out. Property was very clean and well stocked for a weekend in Roanoke. Parking was plentiful in the nearby lot and street. Great location, just 1 block from Elmwood Park and the start/finish line of the Blue Ridge race weekend. I appreciate the washer and dryer availability, this was a huge plus! Bed was comfy, nice linens were provided. I would ask the property owner to consider blackout shades or curtains in the future - the bedroom receives wonderful sunlight throughout the day and into the night. Overall, I highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a comfortable stay near downtown Roanoke.

This property is ideally located, a very short walking distance to downtown Roanoke. Located near a park. The facility was a cute, one bedroom. It was just perfect for two of us. We’d love to be there again.

We enjoyed staying in this lovely home. It was clean & its description was spot on. Its location was close to rural areas, restaurants, & downtown.
Our host, Jim, was honest, helpful, & available.
We would stay there again & would recommend it too.

We loved the location as we were able to walk to restaurants, shops, bars, and the transportation museum. Definitely loud at night. The bedroom could definitely use a ceiling fan!

We enjoyed our stay in Roanoke, and found the property to be as advertised. We came to visit our son who lives nearby, and it was the perfect location and accommodation for the two of us. We did a lot of hiking in the nearby mountains, including a short hike to McAffee Knob on the Appalachian trail.

I would recommend this property to anyone seeking a great location near downtown or central to Roanoke in general.

Excellent Place to Stay
Stayed for my son's graduation at VT, easy drive to Blacksburg, much more reasonably priced, close to restaurants in Roanoke, super clean and comfortable.

Nice downtown stay
Great property within walking distance of downtown area. Property was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have the off street parking option. Property owner was also helpful and responsive when I had a quick question. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for.

Great stay
We arrived at 1 AM and were very happy that the entry instructions were very clear and we had no trouble getting into the unit. We parked on the street every day and had no problems finding parking. Location was good and the unit was clean & exactly as advertised. If we were ever to come back to the Roanoke area I would stay here again.

Great place. .
Close to downtown but quiet and calm. Very comfortable.

Simple and convenient!
It's a clean, simple little condo and very convenient to downtown. It met our needs for the weekend perfectly. The only negative I can say is that it's an older building and the walls aren't very soundproof. Neighbor noise and street traffic noise is a consideration. Other than that, it's great.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early October and enjoyed our time in Roanoke. Other than a few minor issues we had no problems during our stay. This was apparently a new listing for the owner and there were, at the time we stayed, a few things to get adjusted. We were disappointed that the TV was not able to get any over-the-air channels so we weren't able to get any local or national news, sports, or weather. We did have access to Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu (not sure about other premium channels) so we did have some entertainment. The unit has both a washer/dryer and a dishwasher with soap supplied for both. The only issue we had was both used tablets and were mixed in the same bag with no way to tell which was which. We only used the dishwasher once and happened to have our own soap to use. We only used it once because it did not do a very good job of cleaning the dishes and it was so loud that we couldn't hear anything else. Couldn't hear the TV, couldn't even have a conversation. We were afraid that we were disturbing the neighbors. We feel these were minor and can easily be corrected (maybe not the noise of the dishwasher). The biggest issue we had was that the owner's agent stopped by twice and was inside the unit with us. The agent did not have a mask on and seemed to have the attitude that it wasn't necessary or needed at all. That really disturbed my wife and after the agent left and I realized what just happened, it disturbed me as well. This should not be something that anyone should have to deal with during our current global situation. Overall though, a nice stay in a clean unit in a nice neighborhood.
